I would agree. Ask for a room near the back of the hotel. There is a fair amount of street noise even up to about 3am in the morning. Plus then the early morning noise of businesses opening up and vehicle traffic cleaning up. The room we were in had shutters on the inside and it was pitch black at night and early morning.

Hello. I can answer some of your questions but not all of them. My husband and I stayed in one of the apartments (on the first floor, overlooking the square) in early December. There is an open-plan eating/sitting area with a double bed which we found very comfortable. There was a separate bedroom with a single bed in an inner room, without any windows. The kitchen area is small, on the corridor leading from the door into the main room. Coffee is made using ground coffee in one of the Italian metal coffee pots which you put on to a hot ring for a few minutes. There is not a Nespresso or other machine but there is a kettle. I don't think that you can get a cup of coffee in the hotel: I think that they only provide breakfast for people staying in the hotel rooms. However, they do have a drinks menu for the terrace, from which you place your order at reception, so maybe coffee is included on that menu. This apartment was not quiet in the evenings. It looks out on a square which is lined with bars and restaurants and they are busy until after midnight (probably later at the weekend). I found it hard to get to sleep the first night because of the buzz downstairs but after that I got used to it. I imagine that it would be much noisier during the summer months. I can't answer your question about air conditioning but I didn't think the apartment was particularly stuffy.
