The hotel "La Locanda del Manzoni was born in 2011 from the careful restoration of an ancient convent of suore. The vaults present in the common spaces, the marble staircase and high ceilings, albeit with a modern twist, allow us to take a dip in Rome at the end of '800. The rooms are equipped with all modern comforts: air conditioning, heating, TV LCD TV, hair dryer, minibar, wireless internet connection, direct phone and private bathroom.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

How far is this hotel from FCO airport please
All airports in Rome are away from the city center so you need to take a shuttle bus to the city center. There are multiple companies and its around 4-5 euro it takes around 30mins-1hr depends on traffic to get the center. They will drop you at the Termini train and metro station. From there you can take the metro for 2 stops to Manzoni which would take 5 mins or if you are up for it you can also walk which will take you around 30 mins
