Set in the historic heart of Rome, behind Piazza del Popolo and at a stone's throw from Piazza di Spagna, the Hotel Valadier is a charming intimate and refined 4-star hotel. The Hotel occupies an ancient Roman palazzo and has undergone recent major refurbishment to provide all the facilities you would expect to find in a modern hotel, albeit not at the expense of its character and period features.

I cannot say enough about this hotel. The personnel are polite and helpful. The location is perfect. The bedding is plush. The room is immaculate with a nice bathroom with a bathtub! Please take time to visit the rooftop restaurant. Fantastic views and good drinks with

We were greeted by Claudia at the front desk with a smile and a warm greeting. I had stayed at the Valadier in November, had arrangements at another hotel for the visit with my wife and changed them to the Valadier. Our room had a small balcony and a view of a smail courtyard.

Travelling to Rome was a pleasure and the hotel was what we expected. A friendly staf, a nice boutiquestyle hotel in a great setting. The room we first became was tiny, so we asked for a bigger one they called ‘suite’. We expected more but we didn’t want to discuss so we

A unique hotel experience. Five star experience except for 1) tiny rooms (twice) and 2) no spa etc. But in contrast to typical large modern hotels: Small hotel with amazing atmosphere: A maze of dark, narrow corridors, small staircases, lots of mirrors and art and the softest of

hotel arranged car to pick us up at airport. journey was great as was car . the driver took his time showing us some of the popular sights along the way. no probs. but going home hotel advised that it was so much cheaper for them to call a taxi when we were ready. taxi rank is just riund the corner with set fare printed on side of cab. hotel staff will be in touch ......if in doubt give them a call. ..... Taxis sit outside airport so you would have no problem jumping into one to get to hotel. enjoy your trip

I can concur with what others have said - the restaurant in the hotel is excellent, if you are prepared to pay for the quality. You may not feel like such a meal if you've been travelling, so look at the 'pavement café' or the basement restaurant attached to the hotel. Equally you could turn right as you leave the Valadier, then immediately right and check the menus there. Enjoy !

What's the difference between the double standard and the double room?
Dear Guest, "standard" means room type. Standard is the simple one, then I have superior, deluxe, junior suite or suite. standard room could be double or triple as the superior or deluxe room. Best Regards Ilenia Simiele - Guest Relations

As with Nicholas (above) my experience of the Valadier was as a guest and although our room was set up as a double, I know that twin-bedded rooms are also available. As to price, you'll have to discover that for yourselves, as it depends on so many factors. That said, Rome is such an experience in itself, that adding to that experience by staying in the Valadier is certainly worth considering.

Saluti
