Sorry don't know if this is too late, but we got here by taxi from the airport, there was 7 of us and we must have paid 100 euros, was our first time in rome, so I'm guessing we may have got a little ripped of. But whilst we were out there, there was many shuttle services direct frim hotels, so good to try those out.
Transport we found is very expensive in Italy, especially taxis.
