Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An excellent guesthouse in the Prati area of Rome. The owner sent us an email before our stay to let us know that booking tickets in advance was a must for a few of the sights in Rome. We purchased tickets already, but it was nice to have a pre-arrival reminder to ensure we saw the famous sights without having to wait on long lines. We check in and he provided us map and some walking routes to take. He highlighted some restaurants based on our preferences. All were great and representative of the local cuisine in Rome. The breakfast and housekeeping staff were excellent. This is a great guesthouse.

Property's Favourite Review
What a gem! I’m going to start by saying I rarely go to the trouble to write reviews, but I rely on them when booking for my own travels so it’s about time I write a review of our fantastic stay at Qualibet Bed&Breakfast. I like boutique hotels, genuine experiences and favor quality over glamour. This B&B is top notch in every aspect of quality, a very genuine and pleasant host and is centrally located in a great neighborhood facilitating easy travels. Whether you are on foot, taking public transport or parking a car, we did all three, you couldn’t be in a better neighborhood. Gianluca is the owner/host who greets you upon arrival, shares very knowledgeable travel suggestions and serves a generous and delicious breakfast on his rooftop garden. An absolute treat! The renovated rooms are very comfortable and charming with excellent beds and pillows and good air conditioning (every day was over 30 degrees and sweltering hot so we appreciated the air conditioning). I’m very picky about bedding and we were very pleased by the attention to quality and details. No wonder Quodlibet has such amazing reviews, Gianluca deserves them with his attention to detail and his enthusiasm for his guests! Not to mention at an very fair rate. Don’t hesitate, book ASAP and rest assured the Rome portion of you itinerary will be secured! We loved our experience so much that my husband and I are thinking we’ll go back in November and stay just in Rome! Tatiana PS Gianluca recommended a very good trattoria nearby that had our favorite pizza of our Italian holiday! Amalfi, delicious!

Wow where do I start, I don’t usually do reviews but this is a must! We stayed as a family of 4, two adults & two teens. Our room was lovely and clean with a private bathroom, safe and coffee machine and a fully stocked shared kitchen if needed. We had plenty of space in the room for all of us without feeling cramped, The breakfast on the terrace is a pure gem a lovely selection of food and freshly cooked eggs in any variety you wanted. having the terrace and that outside space really made downtime really calming. The owner Gianluca was amazing (as was his team!) his attention to detail and helpful nature put you at ease from the very beginning, before we had arrived we had received an email advising us of the best tours/times and online ticket purchasing links (there are so many online!) As well as transfer options. Being the typical English tourists we knew what we wanted to see but hadn’t ‘planned’ our routes. Gianluca took the time to show us several routes to walk which would incorporate the sites as well as hidden gems and plotted these on a map we could keep. He gave excellent advice on which restaurants would suit us and he was 100% right. On check out our flight wasn’t until late afternoon this wasn’t a problem at all Gianluca arranged for our bags to be stored in a safe place at the guest house and provided us with a set of keys so that we could spend the day sightseeing and then return later that day to collect our bags and travel to the airport. It’s these little touches that are so thoughtful and make the place so special x The Guest house itself is in a lovely location, quiet but only a 5-7 minute walk to the Vatican and at peters square where it is a bit livelier if you wanted this. The metro is a two minute walk and easy link to the colosseum which we used but the walk back is no more that 30 minutes and you see so much more that’s not listed in the tour guides! I would 100% recommend this guest house to everyone and have even suggested to my eldest child to stay there with his partner when they travel to Rome.

Fantastic Guesthouse located a few minutes walk from the Vatican. Very clean large family room, we are a family of 4 and we had a large double bed and 2 singles which suited us very well. The host is brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a highlight, bacon and eggs, yoghurt, toast, croissants etc etc. I would definitely stay again next time in Rome.

Spent 7 days there this November as a second visit. It's just perfect, Gianluca and his team make Quodlibet the perfect retreat in Rome. It is a small community who come together for the excellent breakfast each morning on the rooftop terrace conservatory. Or you could say that it's like staying with friends who have a sizeable house in a great location - ten minutes walk from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican. Gianluca prepares a tailor-made map for all of his guests that is done to exactly meet each person's needs and requests, with sight seeing and tried and tested restaurants in each area. Help with anything at all is always available and each of his team are completely focused on making your stay perfect. We have still more to see and do in Rome so we will return next year without doubt.

The owner/manager of the establishment, Gianluca, was very friendly and helpful. We received a warm welcome and the room was very comfortable. The terrace where a substantial breakfast is served is excellent and the location of the place is very close to St. Peter’s square.

From the day i booked this hotel i knew it was a great choice. The communication was excellent, the service from Gianluca and staff was better than perfect!! We felt so comfortable, cared for and assisted the whole time. When we needed assistance for travel to the Ryder Cup, Gianluca researched and mapped out the best options for us. When we needed reservations during a VERY busy time in Rome, he made them for us. His kindness overall was a perfect complement to the clean, comfortable and modern room for our stay. The neighborhood was wonderful and the Metro A is just steps away. We WILL absolutely be back on our next trip to Rome.

This was the perfect place for us to stay as first time visitors to Rome! The highlight is the service and gracious attention detail by the entire staff, we felt personally cared for our entire stay. The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. The location was ideal for proximity to the Vatican, busses and subway. It is a great neighborhood to be out late into the evening. Breakfast is a highlight! We loved the beautiful rooftop breakfast each morning. Had to measure how much we ate so that we would want to eat later in the day. So appreciative to QuodLibet for making our first trip to Rome such a pleasure and one we will want to return to soon and often.

We can't say enough positive things about our 3-night stay in Quodlibet! We were thrilled from the moment we met Gianluca, the wonderful owner/host. He was generous, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer questions and offer suggestions. He was equally at ease and gracious when greeting and serving us - and every guest - each morning in the lovely rooftop cafe. Everything was perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were clean and spacious with excellent air conditioning (and windows that opened). The breakfasts were delicious; croissants, eggs, bacon, juice, fruit, coffee - a perfect start to every day! We also enjoyed the location as it was very close to a metro stop and close to the Vatican. For the most part we walked everywhere, guided by Gianluca's excellent suggestions for "neighborhood walks." When we think back on our experience, we have nothing but praise for our time spent at Quodlibet. We're already thinking about returning - this time for a longer stay!

Everything about our stay was delightful. The small staff couldn't have been more attentive, and I am still dreaming about those lovely breakfasts on the rooftop terrace, with fresh croissants and custom-made omelets. Getting around Rome was a breeze, thanks to the hotel's proximity to both the Vatican and the metro stop. We also appreciated the public drinking fountain right out front and the bakery in the sub-level of the building!
