We stayed at this delightful hotel in Aug 23. We were in a family room on the 1st floor overlooking the railway line. The room had a balcony but they were more for decoration than to use to sit outside due to lack of outdoor chairs. The sound proofing was very good as we couldn't really hear the trains. The room was large and the four of us didn't feel cramped at all considering my teenage kids are taller than me.
Only issue for me was that it was freezing with the air con on as we only had a sheet on our bed and no bed cover. We turned the heat up a bit but it made no difference. If we were to stay another night I would switch it off altogether.

Bathroom had a rain shower and water was hot. Lots of towels. Sink was a little slow draining as plug could not be raised very high.

Breakfast was lovely. Mix of sweet and savoury (cheese, meats, bread, scrambled and boiled eggs as well as pastries, cakes, juice, cereals and fresh fruit etc)

They had the terrace open in the evening on the 2nd floor so it was great to have an aperol spritz and G&T after a full day of sightseeing.

Staff were all great and helpful. We caught the train to Pompei and into central Naples. The lady on the desk gave us good advice on buying a ticket from the Tabac and where the petrified bodies were!

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. We drove a car and it was great we could park our car with no issues in the hotel car park (for a small fee).

The area is fine. It's obviously no Sorrento but a place where the locals live and earn a decent crust.

We drove to the Almafi coast for the day which was beautiful, visited Pompei and then had a look round Naples.

Overall, a great hotel, great staff and don't let any negative reviews put you off. I thought this was a lovely hotel!

Hotel was very clean, staff very friendly and helpful, it takes about 30 minutes from the airport in a taxi and that will cost you about €30.
Room had everything you would need, mini fridge, TV aircon(not that we used it because it wasnt hot enough) bathroom small and compact with shower and complimentary shampoo, soap etc, hairdryer.
Rooms were cleaned every day, and clean sheets and towels if needed.
All in all for a city break it was okay.

We stayed with a friend and our teen boys through easyJet Holidays. The hotel is small and friendly, the area felt safe though on a busy street with noise of the train/station we slept fine. Supermarket Conad across the road. The lounge/bar was a great place to relax in the evenings. I wish we'd used the lovely bikes (complete with front baskets and locks) but there are 3 bikes and there were 5 of us. The roof garden had amazing sunsets.

We tried to get to Vesuvius on the first day but found the public transport system confusing as it's run by many different companies with different tickets for each at the machines. The hotel sells them only for the Cumana, they said. Even tourist info at Naples Central weren't very helpful as they said "Ercolano" when we needed Ercolano Scavi not Ercolano Portici which is on a different line! So it was much easier and only a little more expensive to ask Mr. Lucio to take us up Vesuvius the next day, plus he took us a scenic route which wouldn't have been possible by public transport. Perhaps if we'd been brave to ask at the "tabac" we could have found the elusive day ticket covering all public transport but I can see why tour guides are very popular!

Just a fleeting visit before our flight from Naples back home. Very good value for money. Nice room, breakfast included and very helpful staff on reception who arranged a taxi to the airport for us in the morning, which was about €35 (but traffic was heavy).

Attentive staff: reception, breakfast service and housekeeping (French often spoken at reception: good advice and assistance for visits and transport). Comfortable, elegant rooms with excellent bedding, air conditioning, well insulated from noise, room cleanliness and perfect bathroom with towels changed daily and some accessories, breakfasts are varied and plentiful. The only problem is a narrow shower cubicle but everything is perfect.
Pizzeria 10 meters away and other restaurants around Naples where the welcome, the food and the price are top notch.
Perfectly served by a ‘TER’ 50 m away or the metro 500 m away. The price is ridiculous €1.3 or €1.5 depending on the choice
To recommend without hesitation

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the hotel which was first class. The rooms are lovely and clean. Shower is fab great pressure and heat. The staff are extremely helpful and good natured. The hotel is a 10 second walk from the train station which takes you into the centre of Naples for ongoing travel or sightseeing. Breakfast is excellent with great choice of continental and some hot food however its not expensive to ordered omelets etc. There is a pizza restaurant right underneath the hotel which is superb but be warned if your are not there for 7.30pm when it opens you will have a long wait as it is super popular. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel if going to Naples as it's in a quieter area.

We stayed in this hotel during a concert at the Palapartenope Theatre. The location is convenient, it is about 7 minutes walk from the Theater and the road was quite busy even at the end of the event (11.30pm). The city center is a bit away, but reaching it by public transport is simple. Via the Cumana line station which is located right in front of the hotel. It is very convenient for events in that area. The staff very kind and welcoming. We stayed for two nights and found our room to be clean. Clean sheets, walls, bathroom and towels. The bathroom in our room was very clean but needs urgent and more thorough maintenance. One of the drawbacks is the low-power hairdryer, unusable for women with long hair. It would be nicer to find ones that work well and are useful. The shower leaked from the shower tray as it was built on the same level as the floor. Room equipped with a well-functioning television and power sockets. Safe inside the wardrobe available. Comfortable beds. I would advise the staff to put higher cushions or a few more for those who want a higher rise. But the ones we found were quite comfortable, although some were a little short. Breakfast was included in the price and is a buffet. Abundant, quality food and drinks. Everything well cooked. Compliments! The staff who assisted us during breakfast were very kind and always ready to help us if necessary. The surrounding area is quite quiet. We were happy with our stay. I recommend it to anyone who has to stay in this area.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a week in July 2022. Never have I experienced service this good from the staff! We felt truly taken care of during our stay. We understood the value in asking the staff whenever we needed a taxi, restaurant recommendations, information about the ferry, how to take the train to Naples centrum or for which activities we could do during our trip. The room was nice and very clean. Even though the train station was next to the hotel, we didn’t find it annoying at all. The location is perfect if you don’t mind taking public transport. Overall, the hotel was nice and clean, good size of the room, and nice breakfast where they make you whatever coffee you prefer. The espresso macchiato is especially good! The hotel is what you should expect for a four star hotel in Naples (note: not anywhere in the world), but the kindness of the staff and the excellent service is the reason why I’ll give this a five out of five stars!

Yes, despite its undeniable "age" as a whole the structure is all in all pleasant and in some respects elegant. We stayed for six nights in a room renamed "Queen Design Colors", in the small wing of the first floor visibly renovated, comfortable and bright, although furnished in a fairly informal and therefore minimal.
But even more minimal, not to say uncomfortable enough, was the bathroom, perhaps more suitable for very short stays, where the almost total absence of spaces and supports even for a necessaire was felt heavily.
For the rest everything positive: cleanliness, quality of sleep and comfort, courtesy of the staff. Excellent and qualitatively varied breakfast, with increasingly rare service.
However, it is undeniable that an additional strength is represented by the immediate and strategic proximity, a few meters, of the train stop of the "Cumana" railway, which in less than 15/20 minutes allow you to reach the center of Naples without using the car: we left it, for a fee, in the hotel parking lot for the entire duration of your stay. Really convenient.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, its location is very convenient near the Cumana Metro which reaches the center of Montesanto in just 4 stops. The cleanliness of this hotel is excellent, abundant sweet and savory breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nearby there is the possibility of eating from pizza to chicken. However, for those who want there is a supermarket in front. Naples is a very welcoming and charming city... crowded and very fun... I hope to return soon.

Dear Andy, there is a gourmet pizzeria next to the Hotel. In the citycenter (reachable by train - the stop is just in front of the hotel) you will find a huge offer of restaurant, pizzaria and bars. See you soon

Airport bus to Central station, metro to Montesanto, Cumano train to Agnano. Honestly, get a taxi, but set the fare before you drive off.

Hello, the local train brings to Montesanto in 12 minutes. Montesanto is the heart of the city center. To reach Pompei or Sorrento you need to take the metro line (the next station is Cavalleggeri 1 Km) till the central station and than a train wich is called Vesuviana. We hope we were helpful

Me and partner paid €26 from the airport to the hotel door, straight out of the front of the airport you que and are shown to a taxi, on the back of the seats you will see laminated cards with all sorts of prices, if you look on the taxis meter it ended up being €21 when we arrived he then added €5 from this laminated page. (This is the price for a ride from the airport)
