My wife and I were overwhelmed, grateful and sad leaving this amazing resort. The unlimited generosity of the staff with the sole purpose of making sure that our stay was unforgettable. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and pampered and therefore we want to thank Maurizio the owner, Alfonso,Lorenzo, Alesia and Maria at the reception, Lucio and Chiara the concierges and Stefano the Maitre, Manuela, Roberto and Ileana for their hospitality at the Alici restaurant as well as Marcela, Italia, Nicola, Marco and Andrea at breakfast. The delightful breakfast which is included in the rate offers multiple alternatives, great fruits, home made breads, grissinis and coffee. The food was delicious at the restaurants and since we are vegetarians we were offered excellent alternatives. The Borgo Santandrea is a monument to good taste and refinement. Our room had a balcony with a magnificent view of the Mediterranean and the linens as well as the bathroom’s Acqua di Parma amenities were excellent. Thank you all for making our visit so remarkable!

We had an enjoyable stay at the Borgo. Staff is incredible, sweet and attentive. Rooms are lovely, though the curtains do not accomplish full blackout. Pillows, mattress, and sheets are not great. Rooms are all tile which is stunning but acoustically it is not ideal for quiet time. For example, I could hear the housekeepers talking in the hallway regularly. The food is so delicious and the breakfast spread is unparalleled. The restaurants are fantastic - have lunch and/ or dinner here if you are not staying. Probably the nicest hotel on Amalfi. One complaint - we had an extra nice room with private outdoor space but every other guest can see into the space and you can hear every word the adjacent private space is saying, what they are smoking and what music they are playing. It was annoying and we did not use our outdoor space much for that reason so i’d advise to just get a regular room.

The Borgo deserves ten stars. Never has a hotel made obsession over every detail feel so effortless. Every hidden corner of the hotel is beautiful. The service is world class, every bit of food was incredible, and especially the breakfast is the most enjoyable we’ve ever had. It’s the kind of hotel you leave and immediately start planning your next visit. Bravo to everyone who designed, built, and runs this slice of heaven.

We felt privileged to have stayed here in late April, when the sun was warm but not too hot, enough to allow the scent of the abundant lemons growing all around this breathtaking hotel to fill the air. Every small detail is perfected, making the whole experience of staying here perfect as a whole. In some hotels, it’s hard to relax when everything excels to this level, but here the gentle service and peace make it feel like a place to rejuvenate and recharge. The beautiful and carefully selected dishes in the several restaurants are exquisite yet homely and traditional, the bedrooms are a sensory journey with fabulous textures and aromas yet remain sublimely comforting and restful. The views are simply inspiring, infused with everything a trip to this coastline conjures in one’s hopes when coming here. But above all, the service from every member of the team here, is exemplary. We have had the honour to have stayed in a few hotels around the world that define the word exemplary, but the Borgo Santandrea is difficult to explain in words. It quietly sits above all others. It just creates a yearning to return, for a myriad of reasons, and I cannot wait to do so.

For a hotel that has essentially had its first proper season, we agree with the other reviewers that BSA is very special and has the potential to become iconic like Villa Feltrnelli on Lake Garda. With the whole world to explore, we don’t often stay in places more than once (except for VF of course) but we will definitely return here. On hand daily, GM Maurizio and AM Gaetano run a tight ship of fabulous staff without an ounce of attitude. They’re more like family really. The Gio Ponti inspired design is absolutely stunning yet comfortable enough to walk through barefoot as you head to the private beach below. BSA feels like an oasis and is a joy to return to after exploring the often chaotic touristy towns along the coast. The boat shuttle with Enzo is enormous fun! Definitely the best way to travel between ports. The food was well above par, I wish we were breakfast lovers because the offering is one of the best we have seen anywhere in the world. Alici their more relaxed dining room was excellent but the highlight was definitely La Libreria for an elevated Italian degustation. Our favourite was the fare down at the beach club, fabulous Neapolitan pizzas and beautifully rendered traditional pastas. The salads were delicious as well when your system needs a break from the superb spaghetti vongole, bread…and pastries which line every surface throughout the hotel! Don’t miss cocktails on the terrace before dinner. The white peach Bellini was my favourite but the quality we saw served to other guests was worthy of a hip mixologist bar in New York or London. Maurizio was at the front desk to bade us farewell and explained all the exciting new additions he has planned. Infinity pool and jazz by the beach at night await. Thank you Marco at Concierge, Pasquale, the many Enzo’s, Nicola, Francesco, Maria, Alyssa, the gorgeous housekeeping staff, the caring spa therapists and the ever smiling team at the beach club….and everyone back of house that keep this beautiful resort hotel humming. We can’t wait to return and for us, that’s saying something! Grazie mille 💞 Baci & Pete xxx

My stay at Borgo Santandrea was simply unforgettable! This hotel exceeded all my expectations and offered an exquisite blend of unmatched service, luxurious facilities, stunning beach club and outstanding gastronomy.
The service at Borgo Santandrea deserves a special mention. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly from the very beginning. They made every moment of my stay a pleasant experience. Whether it was restaurant reservations, excursion recommendations or simply a warm welcome, the hotel team was always ready to fulfill my wishes.
The hotel's beach club was a true paradise! With a view of the crystal clear water and the exclusive atmosphere, I could relax perfectly here. The comfortable loungers, the excellent drink service and the delicious snacks made the days on the beach a highlight of my stay.
The luxury of Borgo Santandrea was reflected in every corner of the hotel. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and offered a breathtaking view of the sea. The property itself was well-kept and full of Mediterranean splendor, with lush gardens and picturesque terraces.
The restaurant at the hotel was a culinary experience. The fresh seafood and local specialties were delicious and of the highest quality. The restaurant staff were attentive and knowledgeable, helping to make every evening a gastronomic feast.
Overall, I cannot praise the 5-star Borgo Santandrea enough. It offers a perfect combination of exemplary service, luxurious surroundings, a stunning beach club and outstanding cuisine. This stay will remain in my memory for a long time, and I can't wait to return. Thank you to the entire team for this unforgettable experience!

Borgo Santandrea has taken traditional Italian decor, cuisine, Amalfi history and reimagined it in every way. The Hotel is a marvel, sitting on a cliff with amazing stonework, terraces with beautiful flowers, olive and fruit trees. The location is so stunning, with a wide expanse of windows and terraces all overlooking the turquoise sea. Inside the ceilings and the architectural details are truly stunning. Ceramic tiles in blue and white, blended flawlessly with midcentury furniture and incredible lighting. There are collections of antiquities, books, photographs, fun sculpture, art work, and flowers in every niche and on each shelf. We loved seeing something amazing every time we walked through the hotel. The detail in every decision when building this hotel is apparent. We were greeted warmly and with such kindness by the entire staff. Everyone smiling, inquiring about our plans each day, always so attentive. The world-class food is truly amazing. Borgo Santandrea chefs and culinary artisans prepared us the most incredible meals and delicious desserts. Some of my FAVORITE THINGS: Boat ride from Borgo's private beach. Extravagant breakfast- brunch, more than you can ever eat, it is a feast! Specialty drinks at the bar, so good and so fun to watch the mixologists at work. Pizza in the grotto, it is made right in front of you and the aroma of the pizza cooking is incredible. The colors of the sunsetting at night over the water, and the beautiful blue colors everywhere.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I was so blown away by this hotel that I felt the need to spread the word.
My stay at Borgo was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, each staff member I encountered was so warm, welcoming, and ready to assist, but not overbearing.
The GM, Maurizio, makes it a point not only to meet every guest, but to actually get to know them. He’ll give out his number and be available to help with whatever you need.
The location of the hotel can’t be beat, nestled into the cliff side close to Amalfi. The views from everywhere around the property are absolutely breathtaking. Their private beach club gives you access to the crystal blue ocean down below and has a fun, but relaxing vibe.
The design of the hotel and the rooms are very classy and well done. The attention to detail is also very impressive — each room has a dyson hair dryer in it! What a cool touch.
When I checked in, they told me not to miss breakfast (which is a meal I don’t typically eat). But I’m so glad I experienced it - besides the food being phenomenal, it’s such a cool concept (but I won’t ruin the surprise…) Suffice it to say, it’s probably the best breakfast in town.
I had a couple massages during my stay which weren’t the best I’ve ever had (I’m a bit spoiled in this respect though), but Borgo isn’t a spa hotel so I won’t hold that against them - it’s nice that they offer spa services at all.
Overall, I would highly recommend Borgo Santandrea to anyone and will definitely stay here any time I visit the Amalfi coast again.

The Amalfi coast seems to have a hotel micro economy all of its own. Read the reviews elsewhere of high disappointment in highly priced but tiny box rooms with little views etc. Well. If you are prepared to stump up the eye watering prices here then you will not be disappointed by the calibre of property, location, room and view here. It is truly stunning. Ideally located between Amalfi and Positano. Parking too. Good Wi-Fi. Beach and pool facilities too. Terrace restaurants are great for views and for the quality and abundance of good. Breakfast is particularly good. Concierge super helpful.
So why not 5 rating? Well the service still appears in soft opening mode, super vibrant and busy but haphazard and not always providing, well, the service asked for. Shuttle to Amalfi needs a little attention too. Less upbeat and more delivery may improve things. I’m sure these minor teething issues in this new property will be easily ironed out.
Fundamentally it has the wow factor from the moment you arrive!
