Such an unexpected find and such a beautiful area. Literally a few minutes walking from the beach with views over to the islands, and ten minutes walk into the centre of Mission Bay with its bars, restaurants and stores, and buses into the CBD. The apartment is modern and fully equipped, with a lovely comfortable bed, bathroom with under floor heating, as well as a useful kitchen area. Everything one needs. The owners are super helpful and very accommodating, and I would definitely stay there again. The only downside? That I couldn't stay longer!!

Great location by the beach and lovely neat accommodation. It was so quiet there. Very easy to deal with the owners and the room had everything we needed. Appreciated the parking close by. I do struggle with such a high credit card fee especially given cash is the only other option. Would definately return.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, we struggle with high credit card fees as well. We pass on about half to our guests and absorb the other half ourselves. Unfortunately as a small family business we are not in a position to negotiate with banks and credit card paygate providers and have to accept their terms. Guest can avoid any credit card fees by paying cash or via bank transfer, so there is definitely another option apart from cash when you return next time.

Had an incredible stay here to round out our 3 week visit to NZ. This was the perfect space to get in some relaxation after lots of adventuring and it felt so luxurious. Very comfortable bed and wonderful location to walk to the water. Plus, they made accommodations for us to store an oversized item for the week prior to our stay. Cannot recommend enough and will be staying again when we return to NZ!

Second time staying here and it is fantastic. Stayed in both Seaview room and garden. Spacious, everything you need. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Bathrooms are good size, clean and great shower. Quiet area, you just hear the morning birds. No traffic noises. Great off street parking. Easy stroll to great coffee in Kohi beach or St Helier’s or Mission bay. Bus to town near or a scooter option. Really great location. Will def be back. Host are very friendly and helpful, but is still very private. Once again loved my stay.

Spacious lightfilled modern studio, impeccably clean, with a nice seaview. Extra big very comfortable bed with good pillows and lovely duvets. Located in a quiet street in a tranquil neighbourhood yet only a 3 minutes walk from the beach and about 15 minutes walk to the bustling waterfront with lots of restaurants and a lively atmosphere. By car it's only 40 minutes to the Sky Tower and about the same travelling time to AKL International Airport. Sonia and Chris are very nice hosts and always helpful in providing information.

First time stay. Believe the website images and txt. - Proven. Modern, clean, warm, dry and quiet. Off road parking, simple access. Comfy bed and amenities met with our needs for an over night. Friendly, professional hosts. Needless to say we have probably at last found our go-to bolt hole when visiting AKL. Thank you.

Perfect spot, comfortable accommodation and welcoming hosts. Highly recommend to stay when visiting Auckland. Close to the bays so all amenities close such as restaurants and bus for easy access to the city.

Booked a last minute stay and so glad I did! The hosts were great - friendly and considerate. The room was clean and comfy. Really loved the shower too! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing time near the beach.

We receive many reviews on various booking sites and this one is unusual. We are a small family business and meet every guest in person. We can not associate this review with any guest, so it is possible this person did not actually stay with us. This can be a problem on Tripadvisor as anybody can post a review regardless of having visited. This has happened to us in the past. (1) The review is from mid January. If this person stayed with us around that time, it would have been mid summer and certainly not "cold". Auckland summers are hot and sunny. While it may rain, it is most certainly not cold. ( 2) “Clean enough” is not quite consistent with our excellent cleanliness ratings online. Please check various booking sites with verified guest feedback (3) All our units have heated towel rails which in fact are particularly "suited to drying the towels" – that is what they are for which is why you find your towels on said heated towel rails. (3) Now on to the interesting part: Should "human beings" be expected to reuse towels for three nights? There are probably different opinions on this. Some may say yes, why not if the towels are OK. Hotels ask you to drop towels to the floor if you want them replaced. We replace towels regularly, anytime we find them on the floor or whenever guests ask us to. (4) And finally, we live on site and it is highly unlikely we did not interact with this guest apart from check-in – in fact let’s just say that is not how we operate and a strong suggestion this person stayed somewhere else. We check and clean units everyday, except if guests tell us they do not need servicing.

An immaculate and modern apartment with a nice view of the harbour. Late arrival was fine and the host was very kind and helpful. The off-street parking was a definite bonus and was the main reason we chose this property over hotels in the area. Free Wifi much appreciated. Will most definitely go back.
