Magic Natura Animal Waterpark & Polynesian Lodge Resort offers a vibrant atmosphere, particularly praised for its inclusive access to a zoo and waterpark, which guests find appealing. However, some travelers have raised concerns about the rooms being small and outdated, with various maintenance issues. While the hotel's cleanliness and location earn positive remarks, the nightly entertainment can be a source of disruption for guests seeking quiet.
Opinions on value are mixed, with some visitors questioning the additional fees but others feeling the overall experience justifies the cost. The service receives mixed feedback, with commendable staff often offset by occasional inefficiency.

We travelled as a couple with a toddler and very much enjoyed our stay with minimal cons.
Pros of the hotel and complex - -The zoo is fantastic! We were lucky enough to stay in room 2205 which backs onto the zoo and you can see the elephants and goats from the back of the chalet! -The animals were well taken care of and the bird shows were fantastic! (Entry is also included for free in your all inclusive package so we found that we attended most days). -The water park was also great as you could use your all inclusive bands to go there for free and get free food and drinks from one of the restaurants on site as well as sun beds. There were plenty of slides and pools for children of all ages to enjoy. - The entertainment was good but could have been a bit better - the mini disco is only on for 20-30 minutes followed by a wait of 30 minutes for the next show. - The room was cleaned 4/7 days that we stayed which was okay but it could have done with another clean to empty bins. - The mini fridge was filled on arrival with cans of Pepsi, fizzy orange and lemon, beer and a bottle of cava which was a nice touch! - They have a shuttle buggy that takes your suitcases to your room when you arrive and it can be booked 24 hours in advance when you are about to leave as the complex is quite hilly.
Cons of the resort and complex - - The complex could do with a touch up and update here and there due to peeling paint and wear and tear - the staff work tirelessly to ensure it is clean and well maintained despite this. - The food isn’t fantastic - despite them attempting to accommodate for all, they do have a fly problem in the restaurant which leaves flies buzzing around the food and tables. - The rooms were cleaned but were a little shabby inside and could do with the odd touch up here and there (probably due to the business of the resort). - I imagine it would be very difficult for someone with mobility difficulties or bringing a baby in a heavy pram as it is a very hilly resort and can be slippy when they are washing the pavements and roads.
Tips - - I would bring mosquito spray as they seem to come alive at night and bite especially at the entertainment, my whole family were bitten. - You need to pay for the safe in the room, beds by the pool, drinks by the pool as a deposit and towels should you need to hire them.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and thank the staff! 😊

We absolutely loved our family holiday to magic natura. We where so sad to leave 😢. Infact we are all booked to return in September 2025 and we have even updated to a Balti lodge with a hot tub and this time we have convinced family members to join us so in total we have booked 4 premium lodges between us all. We have been on a few family holidays and this is the perfect family holiday. Instead of being restricted to a hotel room you have a lodge with bands that open your front door so no chasing anyone for the key card or the air conditioning or electricity switching off when you leave. Staff are so polite and house keeping do an amazing job at keeping so many lodges clean to a very high standard. And the park staff work very hard to keep a massive park and amount of pools and walk ways very clean at all times . Reception staff well they are also amazing they answer every question and nothing is to much trouble for them. Staff really care about this park its more than just a job to them so a massive thank you from all of us for making our family holiday amazing. The food was great there was a wide variety and always something to suit everyone. The zoo staff where very helpful and told us which animals where about to be fed next and where to go to see the next show. The Robin hood show was absolutely fantastic. We where ultra all inclusive and we came home with euros this was a holiday where all inclusive meant all inclusive every was inclusive of price we paid .. we couldn't stop asking ourselves how have we not spent more euros ..

We loved this resort and haven’t been anywhere similar. Beautiful pools overlooking the elephants/camels/deer which is a lovely experience and small pools suitable for our 4 year old. We found the resort to be clean and pretty. Anytime access to the zoo and water park really broke it up for us as we visited the zoo several times exploring a different part each time which was great. The zoo has lots of shaded areas and we really enjoyed going (although some sad elements with the enclosures being small for the animal size). Great park inside and beautiful walking through the Avery, we did this a few times as it’s a short distance from the resort. The food was plentiful and had allergy signs on the food labels at the buffet. Very handy having the wristbands that open the lodges. There is a drinks cup recycling service so you hire a plastic cup for €1 and exchange it for your next drink which helps keep poolside clear. Lodges cleaned daily, good aircon in the main room and blackout curtains perfect. soft drinks restocked in the mini fridge and clean towels daily.
We thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely return!!!
Cons: the lodges are all on hillside so not recommended for people with mobility issues. There can be smells of sewerage around the resort at times. The lodge size (2 bed Polynesian lodge) suited my family of 2 adults and a 4 year old. It is a bit of a squeeze with older children or family of 4 although good to have 2 en suites.
Recommendations: Regular buggy service to take people to/from restaurants back to their lodges (can be tough walking up steep hills to in the heat with small children/push chairs). Improvement needed in the quality of the mattress in the lodge as ours was very hard. Air con/small fan in the small bedroom would be ideal as had to sleep with door open because it gets so hot in there. Mini disco/entertainment outside by the restaurant from 5-7pm would be great before dinner as our little one was always too tired to stay up for evening entertainment. Stock of fresh fruit at the pool bar, while awesome to have big portions of crisps and nuts etc, some fresh fruit also would be great. It would also be beneficial to have the self serve soft drink dispenser ant the pool bar and Estrella (like in restaurants) to reduce queues.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

After looking at mixed reviews I was debating if we should cancel and go elsewhere, and in all honesty I wish we had.
This is not a 4* resort, by any stretch. The accomodation is okay, I liked the separate room and shower room, which although was small was adequate. There is air conditioning, although it is disconnected in the small room, so this is really warm. The idea is that the AC in the main room is used to cool the entire lodge 🤦 We were cold and the kids were hot most nights. We did get extra duvets delivered from housekeeping.
There are several different AI packages, we upgraded when we got here, after trying for weeks with the tour operator and contacting the hotel directly - to be told it wasn't possible. We upgraded at reception. On our first day, €280 although I don't think it's worth the money. You do get to eat in additional restaurants and pizza delivered to your lodge.
You spend most of your time queuing for drinks, you don't get served at your table, and there is generally 1 person serving behind the bar, so they are overworked and not very polite in most cases. Not their fault, it's hot and they are serving so many guests on their own.
The food is mediocre at best, and it's difficult to get anything healthy to eat here. There are water fountains dotted around the complex, bring a refill bottle.
There are several small pools on the complex, nothing special however they do have a water park which is included and there are shuttles to and from the water park at regular intervals. As an AI guest there is 1 snack bar that you can use, again large queues, and you can get chicken nuggets, chips, kebab - again nothing healthy, and you have to pay €5 per sun lounger when you get there. Make sure you take water shoes with you. There is a Sea Lion experience there.
There is a small arcade that costs €1 per game, and the computer games are included in the AI (upgraded) cost.
Pool towels, they take a €10 each deposit, and you can exchange these as many times as you need. Keep your receipt if you want your money back.
House keeping attends daily, and they are friendly, kind and helpful.
We went to Benidorm town on the free transfer, then struggled to get back despite being initially told the coaches were every hour. We contacted the reception and was told the next bus back was 2 hours later. Double check the transfer times if you're planning on going into Benidorm.
Bring mosquito repellent, you'll need it.
Trish the TUI rep is amazing, friendly and helpful, as are the Jet2 reps 👍
The entertainment staff are also friendly and helpful, as are the main reception staff.
We come here for 10 days, and I am genuinely gutted that I wasted my money. I wouldn't come back 😞

I came here with my family back in June 2019 and loved it so decided to come back. It has changed somewhat from 2019. Back then All Inclusive meant just that but now there is All Inclusive Plus which is alot extra money which is disappointing.
I was placed in the newest lodges this time and the walls are so thin I could hear my neighbour snoring at night, you could hear everything. My lodge also backed onto a road and you could hear car traffic all day and night. I got very little sleep. The lodges are small, I was a family of 3 and it was tight so would hate to see a bigger family. Very little storage for your clothing. The lodges were very clean.
Alot of sunbeds have been removed from the pool area to make way for cabanas which are €30 a day. Ridiculous price. Pool area is small for the size of the complex, I spent all my time at the waterpark.
Waterpark is fantastic, that's where I spent my days. Kids ran about enjoying themselves on the slides and I chilled out. Snack food and drinks available at the waterpark with Magic Natura all inclusive and sun loungers are free for magic natura customers.
Zoo was fabulous especially impressed by the reptile house and exotic bird show.
I just got a taxi into Benidorm old town for €8.50 as the bus only came a few times a day.
The food was good as all inclusive goes. Good choice and something different every day. Breakfast however was repetitive but I suppose what else can you serve for breakfast.
I couldn't book the restaurants this time round as this was only for All Inclusive Plus customers and ordering pizza too.
Drinks were branded names and plenty of choice, my boy loved the hot chocolate and milkshakes with cream. Need more bar staff on in the evenings as the queue for the bar can be long.
Evening entertainment is rubbish but it was rubbish back in 2019 too.
Coming in Oct the lodges were cool at night so had to use the heating in the air-conditioning unit to heat the lodge up. Pack warm sleepwear if you come from Oct onwards.
Overall I had a great one week stay but I wouldn't come back again as the noise from the neighbouring lodges and the road is just too much.

It is a resort that is good, the theme of having the opportunity to eat in different restaurants once, it is very good, the entertainment both day and night is perfect, the cocktails at the pool are delicious, the unlimited entry to the two other parks a Right, the staff is very friendly, we loved the mini bus service as we have 3 children so we don't have to go up and down those slopes to get around there, but for the money it costs, it should improve in several aspects: To begin with, the cabins are To take a look at them, the one that doesn't have a broken air and they put a penguin on you, closing the window with a piece of wood, it has peeling walls, the one that doesn't have several broken things in the bathroom fixed in bad ways, with yellowish silicone, dirty walls and raised floors, another thing, the meals in buffets could be improved, the snacks at the pool bar should be reviewed, for what one pays there would have to be something more than bulk potatoes and the occasional salad when one was lucky and they were not sold out, of course 6 days, only 1 day we were able to try them. Another thing we saw is that for the large number of people staying, the main pool, so to speak, was small, even if there were more on the other hand. Also noteworthy when paying for the UTI PREMIUN regime is that the Free Balinese beds are completely separated from the main pool, it is a corridor with beds on both sides with a separation of 3 meters at most, one in front of the other, nothing premium, completely separated. Continuing with the uti premium regime that said that in each restaurant You had a detail, none of that in the 6 days, neither was the welcome gift. The only thing it is useful for is to avoid queuing at bars, otherwise it is not worth it at all. If you go to the buffet they put you in another room that is supposed to be quieter but it turns out that there were more people than in another normal room and being the same food, another thing to note is that at dinner time at 9:30 p.m. they remove all the food trays, here in Spain we do not usually have dinner before that time so it seems a bit bad to me, you are going on vacation I don't like to relax and have your hours cut short that way. In general terms, in the end you have a good time if you go with children and try not to give importance to all these things and enjoy the rest. I hope that with these words they can improve in the possible to make the stay 100% satisfactory

Just got back this week and was a great trip with a 1 and 12 year old. Such a lovely place, clean and plenty to do with the zoo and water park. It is hilly due to the location it is built on there is a bus that goes around in a circle to take you around if you don’t want to walk also takes you to Benidorm centre if you wish. The reusable cup system was good pay a euro each, give card to bar and they serve drinks, refunded at check out. Food was ok, nothing amazing but good choice, could always find something to eat. Fruit, pastries, cakes, chocolate fountain, salads, meat, cheeses, hot dishes & veg. Small Children food station. Ice cream freezer to help-self from throughout the day or ice cream van open certain times. We went earlier when opens to avoid the crowds, breakfast at 8am was always quiet for our stay. Little shop on site selling essentials , was handy having shower gel and shampoo in the lodges was nice product to. We loved the zoo & amazing it is part of the site, water park looked amazing to we didn’t go in but walked around it. We stayed by the little pools near reception, was often quiet and my son loved it. One miserable Bar lady we came across at this pool, didn’t seem to want to serve and had a very miserable look, even raised her eyebrows when we asked for some doughnuts, excuse me paid enough to be here I will order some doughnuts for my son! Language barrier so didn’t bother to say. Lodge was lovely had a 2 bed one bathroom was perfect and very clean. Fridge bar restocked everyday. Check in says 3pm on jet2 but told 5pm which is far to late luckily ours was ready at 2.30pm but only knew as I asked if not may not of known as my phone wasn’t on roaming. Pools don’t open until 10am which I feel Is to late and closes again at 8pm. Pools were a tad cold but once in it’s fine. Go on the app to book pizza delivery (was very nice) to your lodge and the themed restaurants (we didn’t use) also gaming room was a fab addition for my 12 year old. Laundry room to use 4 euro for a wash and 3 euro to dry just by reception. We hired a car from airport and drove around Benidorm and stopped off at the quieter beaches very cheap car hire in Spain. We will be back and overall a fab holiday.

Disappointment, we stayed during the Pilar bridge, it was supposed to be in the most expensive room and it did not meet the expectations we had, perhaps it is because in the videos and others about the complex they put it too well. The cabins are decorated huts, when you close the entrance door it seems like it is going to tip over, there is a lot of condensation inside and if you open the window there are many tiger mosquitoes, so it is better to have all your clothes damp,,, despite being "independent" cabins you hear everything from the rest of the cabins, they barely have any soundproofing. Check out is before 10:00 but if you pay €20 extra they leave you until 12:00, in our case we took it, but at 10:00 they had already emptied the jacuzzi and they had asked us when we were leaving , despite having paid. The daily cleaning in the rooms is quite poor, in 5 minutes they tried to clean the room with a mop, without sweeping the floor and without a bucket for the mop!! with which all they do is spread dirt. As if that were not enough, in those 5 minutes they make the beds and restock the minibar. The UTI regime has many limitations, it is not an ultra all-inclusive as they indicate, we had read it in some other comment and it is completely true. The most notable thing is the kindness of the restaurant waiters, despite not being able to serve drinks at the table as advertised due to lack of staff, they did everything possible to serve you properly. It must be recognized that the outdoor facilities are beautiful and better maintained than the cabins. If they invested a little more in maintenance and with a real IT, even if they charged a little more, it would improve a lot.

After reading some of the harsher reviews we were a little concerned about our stay but on arrival we were delighted. On check in the lovely lady explained everything that we needed to know and couldn't have been more helpful. We were taken by buggy to our 2 bedroom lodge which was spotlessly clean and smelled lemony fresh. This standard of cleanliness was kept up all week.
Our lodge was at the top of a steep hill but as a couple in our 40s and teenage son it was manageable without the help of the bus which runs through the resort regularly.
There are complaints about the food which again, although not everything was to our taste, there was always a good selection. When the hot meals were not for us there was always a good selection of salad, meats and cheeses and a pasta option with choice of sauces. There is a good selection of drinks in the buffet restaurant with local beer and soft drinks on tap and wine (by the bottle) and juices also available.
Our son loved the ice cream van which was there for a few hours in the afternoon/evening. The all inclusive drinks were great with a selection of cocktails, branded spirits and local beer/wines.
Avoid the bus to town as it takes way too long but the reception staff will always call a taxi which arrived really quickly every time and all the drivers we met were polite and helpful.
The zoo is incredible, the convenient side entrance from the hotel was great. The aviary near this entrance is lovely, getting close up with the birds you can see from the outside while walking through the resort. Seeing the elephants and rhinos is an experience that we won't forget either.
The waterpark is also an amazing day out. The sea lion experience was one of the highlights of the holiday. If you want the photos from your experience you can also buy them from the booth in the zoo or waterpark. You can also buy these a few days after your interaction, which is useful if you forget on the day like we did!
The entertainment that we saw was lacklustre. we watched the Michael Jackson experience and the 'magician', who was actually a juggler who dropped everything he touched. Although the atmosphere in the entertainment area was nice, the drain smell was noticeable and we changed seats one night to move away from the worst affected area. The 6pm entertainment in the plaza was actually more enjoyable for us with the highlights being the Queen tribute band and the violinist.
We thoroughly enjoyed Benidorm itself too as this was our first visit. We would especially recommend the views from the cross (take a taxi unless you're really fit). The boat trip to the island with submarine boat included is also really good value as long as you know that there is only a café and a hike to the top on the island. The views again are beautiful from there.
This review is much longer than intended but there was so much to enjoy and we could have easily stayed for much longer. Next time we would definitely stay for at least 10 days instead of a week because we were all so sad to leave.

Just back from an amazing week here and could not reccomend it more. Starting off with the major good points. We were in a 1 bed Polynesian lodge which was in the crocodile street. A 2 minute walk to the pool and the square. Room was cleaned daily and fridge restocked. A cleaner came to the door when my sister and daughter were having a nap but she let me grab the towels for washing and gave the the items we needed so as not to wake them. Zoo and water park were brilliant. Food was changeable. We loved the food most days and the few days we didn't there was still plenty to choice from it just wasn't our favourite. Drinks are branded and great, I loved the Spanish pink gin so much I bought a bottle from the airport on the way home. We saw several families playing cards in the bar and while waiting for the entertainment and was gutted we didnt take a pack but went to the shop ok day 3 and got a pack for 3 euros (these were behind the till and i had to ask the shopkepper to find them)Ques for the water slides were very minimal which meant we got on them loads and most staff were very friendly. We were UAI so ordered pizza one night which was nice and tried to Italian and Rice restaurant. The rice restaurant was our favourite food from the entire holiday and Frank who works upstairs is a brilliant addition very friendly and goes the extra mile to make you comfortable! We dont feel we missed out not being premium as they ques went down very quickly. The building site you can hear it but not enough to spoil the holiday at all. Bus was great after a long day but we enjoyed the walk through the zoo to and from the waterpark. Would definitely have used it more if we were further up the hill though. We went into benidorm one day and paid €12 down and €10 back. Enjoyed a lunch at maui where we had the shared nacho starter and one had fish and chips, one pork with potatoes and one chicken. Sangria and manhatten included. Did feel the waiter rushed us through ordering but food was really good! The only few small downsides to us were the sound proofing between lodges ( could hear the man next door snoring but not enough to disturb sleep) Also a minor issue was the lifeguards have different options on what people can wear on the slides, seen alot of people my sister included going down with a t-shirt over there swimsuit but then half way through the day a lifeguard would tell them they had to take it off. It wasn't a problem as I am sure it was for a safety reason but would be nicer if everyone had the same rules. This was the best holiday we have been on and actually struggling to find something even similar for next year so may very well end up back again. Anyone reading negative reviews please don't be worried this is well worth every penny.

There is mash and scrambled eggs etc at the buffet but I don’t think the chefs would blend the food for you, the shops sells bottled water and I think the vending machines sell baby food but I would prob bring jars and pouches with you just incase, or there is an Aldi nearby where you could stock up x
"There is huge parking. The hotel has organised transport to the city center and some beaches in Benidorm. Free visit to the zoo and aqua park as well."
There are more places to choose from in the Benidorm area.
