Hotel Villa Venecia Boutique Gourmet enjoys a prime location with stunning beach vistas that many guests adore. The rooms, praised for their cleanliness and attention to detail, offer breathtaking views, although some guests suggest they could be more spacious and updated. The hotel's rooftop areas and sumptuous breakfasts receive high marks, yet some visitors mention the gym and pool facilities are somewhat lacking. Service at the hotel is often described as exceptional, with staff members who are both friendly and eager to assist. While the overall atmosphere promotes wellbeing, especially with the serene sea views, a few travelers find the gym area less inviting. Despite its cleanliness and many positive attributes, some guests feel the hotel does not provide good value due to the high cost relative to the amenities offered.

Check in is from 16.00, check out by 12.00, late check out past this time is €10 per hour. We had a Seafront Superior double bed 50 sqm room with floor to ceiling windows facing Levante promenade / beach, be aware the sun shines very brightly into the room in the mornings until early afternoon. We were offered a large glass of Cava at reception on arrival, plus a bottle of Cava & sweet treats were left in our room, thank you.

There is an excellent a la carte breakfast of your choice 8.00-11.00 served with meats, cheese, fruit, toast, etc on a two-tier tray. You can also sit on the outdoor terrace, dinner is 19.00-23.00 (last food order is 21.30), all bookings over Xmas include Xmas day gala dinner - which consisted of a drinks & canapés reception followed by a 3 hour tasting menu with drinks again included! It was my wife’s birthday the day before we left and the hotel very kindly gave us a lovely bottle of wine to help us celebrate, thank you again and very much appreciated.

There is adequate drawer space and hangars in the wardrobe, but half the clothes hang crumpled on top of the safe, air con or heating, very large tv (inc BBC1, BBC2 & the Great movie channels in English), wifi, laptop size safe (there is no charge), tea & coffee, 2 x 500ml bottles of water & coffee pods each day, Nespresso machine - delivers a small shot of coffee, full minibar fridge, large deep spa bath & separate rain shower with clear glass walls, all toiletries, toothbrush & paste, razors, cotton buds & pads, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, lots of plug sockets but no usb ports, iron & board, the hotel has a bar but no entertainment and is quiet in the evenings, rooftop plunge pool but only a few sunbeds.

There are lovely long promenade and beach walks on either side of the hotel which is situated in the old town - a nice area for bars & restaurants. Sunbeds on the beaches are €6 each, plus parasol €6. We would recommend The Robin Hood bar restaurant at Plaza Triangular in the old town and The Soul Bar on Calle Ibiza. There is a very large outdoor market Wed & Sun from 9.00-14.00.

We had a lovely time, the staff looked after us very well. We would strongly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Venecia!

We have always wanted to stay at this hotel, however in the summer months it can be quite pricey.

However, we now understand why.

We managed to get a good deal for one night stay last night meaning that we had Christmas Eve morning in the hotel.

The location is absolutely superb up in the old town in a beautiful building has been tastefully renovated.

The customer service and attention to detail is absolutely superb. The staff cannot do enough for you, the quality of the service from reception to check out is absolutely excellent.

We had a Seaview room, room 44, which had double windows opening up to the Seaview, and Levante Beach,l, close enough to hear the waves crashing but not to the point of keeping you awake.

We had an afternoon snooze and watch the sunset while sitting in bed with a cup of tea and in the morning did similar and watch the Sun come up on the horizon directly across From the hotel.

Breakfast is at the highest quality with a good selection of meats cheese fruit served to your table followed by your chosen menu of full English, omelettes, and everything you would expect from a high end hotel.

I would highly recommend staying Here it is worth paying the little bit extra to have a great room with a great view. There are spa facilities on the fifth floor which are ample adequate and also afford fantastic views across the bay and out to see while you’re either in the hot tub or splashing around in the pool.

Our stay has been magnificent. Everything is taken care of in detail, they received us very attentively and we felt very welcomed. The hotel is very nice, located on the balcony of the Mediterranean, the room has incredible views over the Levante beach. The glass allows panoramic views of the sea as if you were on it.
Detail in the room of strawberries with chocolate and champagne.
Amazing pool and spa. The breakfast is amazing, everything is very delicious! I'm sure I'll come back. Many thanks for everything!

It is spectacular, located in the best place in Benidorm, overlooking Levante beach and the castle square.
The staff very attentive at all times, the room and all the unbeatable facilities.
The room included a double bed, a spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub, jet shower and all kinds of accessories such as hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers, plus multiple toiletries.
We were greeted with a bottle of cava and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Daily we were left bottles of water as a gift, plus various types of coffee and tea.
At breakfast, in addition to a tray with toast, fruit, pastries, cold meat, cheese, yogurt, juice and coffee, they have an extensive menu to order included in the price, it is very worth having breakfast with those views.
On the top floor, they have a gym, jacuzzi, swimming pool and sunbathing terrace.
We have been 4 nights and will repeat without doubt.

Wonderful service. Nothing is too much trouble. Spa visit was very enjoyable. Rooms were cleaned daily with new towels, fresh water and restock of complimentary tea and coffee. Excellent choices for breakfasts. Starts with danish pastries and croissants, selection of meats and cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast and fresh orange juice. This is followed by cereals and then a selection of cooked breakfasts. The sun deck and plunge pool on the roof are very relaxing.

A few months ago I’ve decided with my friend that I really want to spend my birthday abroad this year. Through a lot of searching and random clicks through various websites Villa Venecia caught our eye, the pictures on the websites looks amazing and has great views and massage/jacuzzi which was what I was looking for for my birthday treat.

Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We arrived at the hotel before the check in time and the receptionist made us feel very welcomed with a round of drinks and let us relax whilst we went through check-in procedures. There’s 5 floors to the hotel which is accessible by lift, the top floor (5th) is where the rooftop loungers and a small pool is located. It’s also the location of the gym, steam room, jacuzzi and massage facilities. Did I tell you the views from this hotel is absolutely amazing? It overlooks the sea and with floor to ceiling windows it guarantees you to the best unrestricted views of the sea.

There was chocolate strawberries and a bottle of Cava waiting for us in the room - was not sure if this is part of the room service or hotels note of my birthday. There is a jacuzzi bath in the bathroom which is partitioned off with glass walls (note: there’s roller blinds if you want some privacy whilst using the jacuzzi bath). The room also contains the normal Tv, hairdryer, coffee machine, mini fridge and the most comprehensive set of toiletries I have seen so far in a hotel room - shampoo, conditioner, lotions, toothbrush and paste, razors, combs, sponges, cotton buds and pads, slippers and robes. Essentially I didn’t have to bring anything with me to stay the night and walk out the next day all fresh and clean.

All in all I love this hotel, the staff, the views and the services. I’m already planning to visit again next year for my birthday, this time for a longer than a weekend stay to make the most of everything that the hotel has to offer. The only bad point that my friend and I have is the TV which has access to locate network but requires WiFi to watch anything else. We couldn’t get it to work with the WiFi and ended up with both of us on our phones watching separate YouTube videos each getting distracted with the others ‘better’ choice lol.

A small but wonderfully located gem of a hotel.
My husband & I went for Christmas & were delighted with our stay.

Rooms are not large but a picture window view of the sea, sunrises & Levante bay really inspire a feeling of wellbeing.

The hotel & bar staff are excellent, friendly & courteous.
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace most mornings, seagulls are present but you can shoo them off!

Perhaps the deciding factor in my five star review is that I did encounter a problem with the spa during my stay, I mentioned it to the front desk & the issue was speedily dealt with by management & I felt that they went above & beyond.

This small hotel sits on the panicle of the Old town square across from the Church.
The reception is excellent with glass fronted windows over looking the sea with Benidorm beach front stretching into the distance.
The Hotel staff are all excellent with an engrained culture to help and make you feel welcome. The Restaurant is inside our outside and offers a wide range of food, but will meet your personal expectations if you ask. The breakfast is especially good and not to be missed. The Seagulls and local cat hover a little but generally are not a big problem.
The room we had was a Superior room. The size of about 50 m2 was a little disappointing, but a comfortable bed and two chairs and a table met our adequate needs. Not so the hanging space in a very small wardrobe. I had to remove the ironing board to provide enough space for just our three day space, together with three very small drawers at the bottom of the wardrobe..
There was no information pack. Information was sparse, and generally relied on small posts around the room. We counted 16 in total spread here and there. Some were printed in small print making them difficult to read. This deficiency was compounded when we were unable to work out how the coffee machine worked and where the NASA designed shower refused to work. Both we finally overcame, but it would have been easier to have an instruction book.
The biggest disappointment was the Gym and the sun terrace on the top floor. We are keep fit people and a gym is an important part of our holiday, even if it’s a short one like our three day break. The gym consisted of three cardiac machines one of which did not work, in a tiny 15 m2 area. A Jacuzzi and tiny sauna were unnecessary addition, resulting in a tiny space. No mats, no free weights. It is an illegal claim to call this a gym and if we had known how poor it was we would not have chosen this hotel. The sun terrace was equally poor. Three sun beds and a small number of soft seats in a brown drab environment is no conciliation to the poor gym. There was a plunge pool, no swimming pool, but again falls short of a five star expectation.
To sum up, This Hotel is very clean and has brilliant staff, the room is small but comfortable with good amenities. The Restaurant and dinning areas are very good but if it’s a pool and gym you want this is not the hotel for you.

We booked this hotel as a last minute deal 3 days before we travelled.
What a find!
Benidorm wouldn’t normally be our first choice location but this Hotel will be in the future.
Arrived early morning and the holiday information stated that our room would be ready by 4:00pm.Not the case: reception confirmed that it would be ready in 20 minutes and we were settled in within less than an hour of our arrival. The hotel had the welcoming Cava and Strawberries waiting in our room for us.
The room we would describe as compact and bijou, spotlessly clean with spectacular views of the sea and Levante Beach.
Pleasing bonus was that there was no charge for the use of the room safe.
Knowing how difficult I am to please finding places to eat my wife had booked half board as the hotel was described as boutique and gourmet. We noted some not so positive comments about breakfast and dinner but this was not our experience. All the food was wonderful in taste, flavour and presentation.
There were no difficulties in changing the set menus for breakfast or the six course dinner taster menu and there were no cost implications.
It became evident to us very quickly that as lovely as the hotel was the experience was greatly enhanced by the team who looked after our daily needs and wants.
Our major daily interaction was with the restaurant staff who included Ana, Elena, Lia ,Miguel and Filip who were all very professional and it was obvious that they all cared that we had a great and enjoyable experience.
Filip was particularly attentive and had a detailed knowledge of the hotel and was always able to answer my endless questions about the food, wine and Benidorm and its history and where further research was required he never failed to provide a full and complete answer.
This hotel met our expectations of a five star establishment and we would like to congratulate the hotel management for establishing a great team to look after their hotel.

On the positive the hotel is chic with a modern vibe, stunning sea views with full length windows from the dinning area and the bedrooms.
The bedrooms are small but have all you need. Same for the bathroom very small but by using glass just about gets away with it. Personally I found the bed very hard. I have a bad back as a result of several surgeries so I would of appreciated something softer.
The major problem with this hotel is the lack of a functioning WiFi. For a 5 star hotel or any hotel in this day and age it is unacceptable.
The friendly staff tried several times to fix it, but were unable to do so. Mine was not an isolated problem, I understood from both the staff who admitted they often had problems and another guest that they had been trying to fix it for 24 hours. But fix it they didn’t so I also could not use the tv which is also dependent on WiFi. I was unable to have dinner in the hotel as had to go out of the hotel to download things for a business meeting by zoom in the morning. The WiFi was not ever working so I had to leave the hotel to travel home to take the meeting elsewhere. There was no communication with the morning staff about what had happened and my early departure. They were totally in the dark. I asked that the manger call me and I wrote an email to the company explaining what had happened. No answer from anyone. This is not only rude but totally unacceptable for a high end boutique hotel.
I had to pay for a service they didn’t provide with no concessions or one iota of an apology. So all in all an expensive very short stay that could of been so easiy avoided had it been better handled.
As a hotel and service provider that people pay good money for, you need to step up.

Although the hotel is beautiful there are a lot of steps in and around the surrounding area and is actually quite hilly .I would not think it was suitable if you are on your own and partially sighted. You need to be more near the promenade either on Levante or Poniente beach.
