Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is clean and modern, however, it has been built in the middle of an industrial park where you pay a toll to enter. The dining room was closed for dinner and it was explained to us that there is a 24 hour pizza restaurant that will provide room service, but we did not try it. The included breakfast was strictly continental. There is nowhere to go if you don’t have a car (remember the toll for when you return). We were also told that airport transportation was available, a pre-ordered cab for €30. Room was comfortable and the staff were accommodating.

waitress service 10 (there is a skinny brunette who is a real professional)

very expensive bad food.
In short, almost, not to mention that you are trapped inside Merca Madrid.

The hotel is outside of the city limits. The rooms are standard size and service and front desk is satisfactory. The amenities are basic twin beds and cleanliness is just average because the toilet lacks tidiness. We had dinner at the ground restaurant and food we had was pizza, burgers, prawn and salad. There was only one very nice lady serving us..food was good and speed of service adequate.

Terrible treatment from the reception.
We arrived and they told us that we had a reservation, when we showed the vaucher-nis it said that the payment had been made (when we booked and they gave us to choose payment at the hotel).
We arrived three hours before check in - therefore there was no reason to carry out such an action -

The treatment was disdainful, with no intention of solving anything.

The hotel is far away - located in the Fruit and Vegetable Market - it is useful if you go on business there.

They don't turn on heating. Blankets are scarce.

I would not go back

Stayed here whilst visiting the Madrid tennis open. Spotless hotel and very pleasant and helpful staff. Although the restaurant is relatively small, the food and service is very good.

Would not hesitate to stay agaoin

Its about 20 minutes from the city proper. They have 2 elevator. Each can accomodate 4 persons. The room is clean and spacious. But the lights is not enough its a little dark for us. The hot water is nice. The restaurant food is ok. Breakfast buffet have limited choices, With bread.

The main issue is location. It is pretty grim, but you dont stay here for the view. You DO NOT need a car to get to Madrid. The T32 bus stop is only two minutes walk away and comes every 15 minutes or so. It then takes 12 minutes to get to the metro at Legazpi. The metro then takes ten minutes to Sol station which is in the centre of the city. The bus runs till 11.30 at night. Even on a sunday the 130 bus runs from mercamadrid (the stop is even closer). This bus takes longer as it goes to a different metro so thakes about 30-35 minutes including metro.
Buy a three or five day tourist travel card which will save you a fortune. It includes all transport and will include transfer to the airport.

The girl at reception sorted out my football ticket issue so they were helpful as well. I would stay there again if I was in Madrid. Its cheap!

Frankly, it was a quite disappointing experience when I stayed at the hotel in October, 2010. I sincerely hope they have improved since then. The hotel is strategically located inside a large and multi-building meat, vegetable and fish distribution center so if you are looking for good views from your window or nearby attractions, do not waste your time. In my opinion it is very convenient for merchants who come from all over Europe to conduct their business as I was told. Believe me, it is not what you see in the website. I understand there is a restaurant but we did not go; breakfast was average. Our room was facing west so in the afternoon the room was extremely hot. I asked the receptionist to turn on the A/C unit and I was told that it was permanently turned off for the season. Could go into more disappointing details but to conclude, I just going to say that this hotel was part of a 7-day pre-paid package and we opted for losing our money and find another place to stay.

Stayed for 3 nights on business trip and booked by my local company as close to their offices. As many have said situated way out in the sticks in office, industrial area. Arrived at 4pm, easy check in, helpful staff but eneted room (basic) to find bed made but bathroom had been left without being cleaned at all, dirty sink, previous towels on floor and not replaced. Reception offered to chnage room but in the end someone came and finished off the cleaning..all a bit odd. Interent free and fine, TV all spanish no English or Sky etc so very limited audience appeal. Can get 24 hours snacks inc pizzas, rolls etc. Restaurant very cavernous, and with two side rooms set out for tables of 20-30 people who all arrived together leaving 4 people in main, 'hall' srrounded by two parties of 30 odd. Set menu actually OK, not special, but mixed salad was excellent, the rest average. Note red wine is served VERY cold in Spain. Excellent sleep, shower great. Pity about the external upkeep though flower beds full of fag packets thrown away by the outside smokers (typical) and not cleaned up by hotel staff at all...bad first impression. Would I stay again? Probably...Maybe?

Stayed one night in February for 35 euros. This rate is only available when booking online. The front desk was asking for 50 euros a night if booking a room directly with them.

The hotel is a 30 minute bus ride to legazpi subway station.

Tried to eat at the hotel restaurant. Don't do it. I sent my food back and ate bread only with wine. The food is absolutely not edible.
