We were expecting just a hostel with the main services and benefits. But the experience that we got was something amazing!!!! All the comforts that someone asks are there. Amazing room with comfortable beds, luxurious bathroom. Great breakfast And service. All the staff is there to help you always with a smile. I wish we were there during summer because there is a pool as well. If somebody wants there is dinner provided as well with An extra cost but it's worth the experience as all together in a great atmosphere enjoy it. Just great, amazing, thank you so much for the hospitality!!!!!

I went traveling around Europe for a month staying in hostels in every location and Yeah! hostel was BY FAR the best hostel I stayed at. From the start, Alex greeted me when I walked in making me feel like this place was home. Not to mention, he remembered my name after I checked in. A small detail but it meant a lot considering that hadn't happened anywhere else. When I checked in, the sheets literally smelled so fresh, like they had just gotten washed with fabric freshener (again the only place where the sheets actually felt and smelled clean). Make time to do the group dinner. First off, the food is AMAZING, second, that's how I made all my friends in Barcelona and made my stay 100x better than it could have been. We had a group of us that did activities together every day, went out, went and got meals, etc. If you are looking to make friends then going to the group dinner is the perfect way. I referred to it as a family dinner because that's really what it felt like. And can we talk about Pablo?! Pablo is the kindest person and incredibly helpful. He made the group dinners so enjoyable, he went out of his way to make me feel like I was his friend and that anything/everything I needed (and everyone else) was taken care of. On his time off, he took a group of us out bar hopping to find the best places to go. He really went above and beyond. Yeah! hostel is truly unlike any other hostel and if/when I'm back in Barcelona, I'll be staying at Yeah! hostel.

I stayed here with 25 of my closest friends for 9 days in June whilst attending the Primavera festival. Despite having a very large group the service we received from the staff at Yeah hostel was second to none. The rooms were clean, the food was amazing and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hostel is very close to the metro so travelling around the city is very easy and there are numerous cafes and bar within the area so we never had to travel too far to grab a bite to eat or drink (mostly tacos and frozen margs). I’d like to give a special mention to Anna who worked the rooftop terrace bar and made sure we always had a sangria in hand and made an already fun stay even more enjoyable as well as the reception staff and the bar staff who were extremely accommodating. I would give this place 10/5 stars if it was possible but it is not. When I go back to Barcelona I will definitely pick this hostel to stay in.

I spent new years at this hostel, i arrived on a whim.

I was greeted by the super friendly Dalma and jake , who were not only super excited to meet me but took a special interest in me and really helped me feel welcome.

I remember the 2nd time I saw dalma she gave me a big fat hug like we were long lost friends , and it really made me feel special . Also jake would hang out with me in the middle of the night and we would smoke cigarettes and talk about life on his breaks , you could tell that both of them really enjoyed their jobs and making the guest feel welcome seemed like a passion for them. Love you guys please hit me up if your ever in Cali !

Also special shout out to Lucas , who took us on one of the most amazing pub crawls ever , not only was his energy super great , but he is an amazing singer and also knew exactly what to say to get us all hyped up to go out !

He pulled me aside out of the group and told me that he especially appreciated me and my energy that evening and bought me a drink , he as well as the others for sure deserve a raise.

Also special shout out to David , when I checked in he was super knowledgeable and super helpful and gave special attention to all my needs , it’s really cool to visit a hostel and have the staff play such an integral role in my experience , I will for sure be recommending to my friends and coming back to visit in the summer ! Love you guys !!!

Ken ( from Cali )

The hostel is ok, nothing exeptional.
But they have a bar craw and charge 12 euros for that, what is extremely forbiden in Catalonia and Barcelona to do any bar craw and eveb more to charge for it.

You can enjoy the same experience in other hostels for free.

Be aware and don't pay for the Bar Craw. Just a way for the hostel to take money from tourists.

Perfect location for the hostel with the most amazing staff. Start your day off right with an all you can eat breakfast buffet for less than €10 before heading out for a walking tour of the city with the knowledgeable staff who also offer amazing facts about the city and suggestions of where to visit, looking at you Pablo! Explore and return to the hostel any time of day with a 24/7 reception and plenty of lounge/shared areas for you to enjoy time outside of your room, including the rooftop pool and bar! Family dinners are a staple, sign up for three courses with you fellow travellers and gorgeous food cooked by the talented chef Fabio, before Wesing whisks you away for a pub crawl around some of the hidden gems of the city. A perfect place to stay.

First time travelling solo and definitely glad I booked this place. Perfect if you're travelling alone or as part of a group. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. There were group dinners organized in the evening, as well as pub crawls. Food was alright and for the price I'm not going to complain about a three course meal and seemingly unlimited sangria! The atmosphere was really chill and there were plenty of spaces to relax. The hostel in general just looks cool. The rooms were clean and my bunk was surprisingly comfortable and had a curtain for privacy. I took the advice of other travellers and brought 2 locks for my personal storage. Location is pretty good with the metro only a few minutes away. Sites like Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila & Batlló are within walking distance. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars nearby and a supermarket around the corner. Would highly recommend this hostel and would go back in the future.

It’s a place worth checking out. It’s a large hostel, but you can get some good rest there as well. There is a buffet breakfast and a 3 course dinner (plus 2 drinks) available to order each day, you can go on a free walking tour in the day or a pub/club crawl at night. Hostel owners really seem to put their heart in what they are doing. The cleanliness was amazing. The cleaning staff came by twice a day. Large drawer lockers under the bunks, so plenty of storage space. Kitchen facilities are shared with the working Kitchen Staff. Super location, easy to get to from airport (bus and metro). Would stay again.

Great hostel. The staff is so friendly and helpful! Clean and modern with a good kitchen, dining/bar area, a cozy common room and a super nice rooftop. Perfect breakfast buffet with many options and a social dinner cooked by chef Carlos, for a good price. The pub crawl is so much fun and a perfect way to meet new friends, a must if you stay at Yeah Hostel! Comfy beds with lockers for both suitcases and valuables. The bathroom and toilet is in the dorm so if you’re going remember to bring flip flops or something similar. Overall a great hostel, especially for youths looking to meet new people!

Stayed here last week with 3 mates in a private room.

Got to the hotel early and were offered a bag drop which was great. Room was fine, everything clean and tidy and good value for money. Location was pretty good as near a lot of sites and landmarks, note it is a good walk to the beach.

Were told on the second day from a guy on reception when stopping us whilst on way to our room that we had to wear the room band when entering the hostel (not had to do that in any other hostel or even on the first day?) but fine no problem.

Overall, good value for money.

Is there locks for rent at the hostel? if so how much is one? Thanks
Answer from cristianjfry
Manchester, United Kingdom7 contributions14 helpful votes
I don't believe that you can rent one, unfortunately. Plus, you will need to bring two locks if you want to use both of the lockers at your disposal. There is a huge one below your bed and a smaller one with plug socket/USB ports behind your head on the bed. You could easily fit everything in the large locker though if you only had one lock.
