Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. Best thing is to take the sightseeing buses where you can jump on and off whenever you like...A great way to see a lot of a fantastic city at your own pace...Start early on a dry day and take the top deck....Enjoy.
