    I have read reports on here of some hotel bedrooms having "clear glass walled bathrooms". Please tell me this hotel has "walled bathrooms and toilets"
    Some rooms do have glass bathrooms but there are blinds within the bedroom to create privacy if needed.. Not for everybody but it’s a new concept with Melia as I have just stayed at Melia Palma Bay and these are all glass bathrooms with showers and toilets Best to speak to the hotel direct if you would like an older style Classic Room which does have walled bathrooms ..

    First come, first served basis. Left of the pool gets shade in the afternoons.

    I realise that this hotel isn't near the old town but would like to know of the taxi service and costs to the restaurants, cathedral etc. and also if advisable to book a taxi from the hotel or somewhere locally
    The valet at hotel will order a taxi for you which will arrive very quickly. There is also a bus stop very near hotel and this is for number19 bus. It is very quick service. You can also walk which takes about 15 to 20 minutes.

    Hi we are a group of 6 adults celebrating at Gran Melia we enjoy food/wine but don’t want anything too stuffy. Can anyone recommend restaurants for a 3 night stay. Many thanks
    Try Mercat 1930 20 metres to the right of hotel via promenade. Recommended to us by hotel and it didn't disappoint. It's a fun place with great choice of food stalls, tapas style. You choose your own table and food which will be brought to your table. You can purchase wine at any food station or there is a super bar well stocked with beers and spirits. Hope you enjoy 👍
