Although we requested a room with a walk-in shower and suitability for someone with mobility problems this did not occur. When checking in with our group, that had pre-ordered approximately 35 rooms, the majority of the room keys, electrical programming, were unable to open the hotel rooms. In our own case we returned no less than three times to reception to get the cards reprogrammed. This commotion took more than an hour to rectify during which time the hotel staff were extremely blasé with their reactions I interpret this to indicate this instant had often previously occurred. The meals together with the breakfast were of very basic in quality. The rooms were acceptable but the television showed only Spanish programs
We stayed for one night at this Hotel. It looked shabby and unkept from first impression but as it was a busy holiday period we didn’t have a lot of choice. Our Room had one small window overlooking the roof. Very depressing. The room looked like it hadn’t been used for a while. It was dusty & smelt like it had not had any ventilation for sometime. When I pulled up the linen from the bed there were crusty bugs! The decor was old as was the linen. The WiFi was very slow. The pillows were dreadfully uncomfortable that my husband & I both awoke with sore necks & a headache. Definitely over priced & not up to 4 star rating.
Great hotel - lovely rooms - and very clean. The reception staff could have been more friendly! There is a secure underground car park (you have to pay!) The main areas of the hotel are attractive, with lovely patio areas where we had drinks (very reasonable cost) The waiter was very friendly and responsive.
We stayed here recently. Apart from some very loud pensioners (milling about when we arrived) this place was very quiet. Room was nice (good size, slightly dated) & overall good value at 55 euros via 3rd party site. Good location just up a slight hill from town & only 10 minutes stroll to San Lorenzo Beach. I assume more pricey June onwards. There is lots of parking space on the road in front of the hill at this time of year so no need to pay 8 euros for parking under the hotel.
Friendly staff, nice clean rooms. All in all very good value, will definitely repeat if I go again. Only but was breakfast, not included in price but we decided to give it a try - not a good idea... Rubbery toast, unattractive food and not very good quality.
