The staff's professionalism and attentiveness are frequently lauded, contributing to the hotel's personalized service.
While the value is generally well-regarded, especially given the comfortable accommodations and excellent location, a few guests find the breakfast to be on the pricier side. This is a beautiful hotel. The layout and decor is picturesque and straight out of a romantic novel. I would recommend it to any couple looking for a romantic get away in a quiet charming boutique hotel where the staff are helpful and pleasant. Overall our experience was great.
The staff are so helpful! Ismael is a wonderful host and went over and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. Jessica, Martina, and the rest of the staff were all consistently pleasant, helpful and discrete enough. They exemplified the idea that “no request is too big or too small”
They sorted out tickets, reservations, and much more.
We stayed in a suite ( Room 19) which was spacious with a large and luxuriously comfortable bed! and had what we needed. It’s not got a great view, didn’t mind. The old town building are built close to Each other so you’ll struggle to find a good view in most places.
there’s a UK plug in the far wall. as we didn’t bring an adaptor, this was helpful.
The guitarist in the evenings was a really nice touch. It was very special to sit together and let an hour fade away listening to beautiful guitar music sipping wine on a cool Evening in a beautiful courtyard.
Breakfast was adequate. It’s essentially a table service so you’ll be attended to by the attentive staff.
Being small meant we didn’t feel like we were drowned in a sea of people. It was tranquil.
Now, The potential Cons ( just so I am balanced in my review)
Our suite had No bath tub, Just a shower - which was fine. In honesty, We didn’t feel like we were missing out on anything. The Hermes bath products were good quality 👍🏾
The roof top is just ok, nothing fancy. But, to be honest you’re in Seville right in the middle of the Old town so you’ll have plenty to see walking around rather than sitting on a roof top taking insta worthy pics:)
It’s a small hotel. The breakfast room and our suite made use of mirrors in a clever way so you never felt claustrophobic.
As it’s small, the staff do seem to multi task quite often, but to be honest we never felt neglected or our needs under-served.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is a dream! About 8 years ago a charming palace was transformed into a fantastic boutique hotel. It is a true gem! Situation in the beautiful Santa Cruz area, in walking distance to all attractions, this romantic place has plenty of charm and 17 beautiful rooms. The Hotel organizes every evening a classical guitar performance in its wonderful patio. The breakfast buffet is outstanding equal only to the outstanding and very personalized service by its friendly staff. Although situated in old town with its bars and tapa places, the rooms are surprisingly quiet and offer good sleeping quality. This will certainly not be my last visit at this wonderful place, it is an experience on its own and worth every penny!

This Hotel is in an excellent location, is full of character and the hotel Staff are exceptional. Rooms and communal areas all kept spotless and COVID regulations strictly kept to, although this did also mean that the bar and dining areas were closed during our stay. In particular, I must mention the comfortable bed, which is essential after all that sightseeing......I wanted to take it home with me!
My husband and I travelled with friends, and we all said we would definitely recommend this Hotel.
5 stars would have been given if there had been a pool available or a bar on the spacious roof terrace. There are a couple of seats in the foyer area (which is very pretty) but other than that, there was no communal space to relax in - only your room.

That may sound over-the-top but the combination of exquisite design, real comfort, great food and truly warm and wonderful service scores over anywhere I can think of!
We stayed in one of the apartments which gave the two of us a double room and bathroom each, instead of sharing a twin as we would normally do. The cost compared quite favourably with the regular room charges when taking into account the fact that we also had a large and elegant sitting room plus a small kitchen at our disposal. About 200 metres from the hotel and in a wider street, it was also flooded with light compared with the hotel rooms which generally only have windows overlooking the internal courtyard or narrow alleys. For a five night stay it gave us a much greater sense of really living in the city in a temporary home. Yet all the facilities of the hotel, like the roof terrace were available to us, as and when we wanted. And despite the separation from the main building, the staff were every bit as attentive to our needs in the apartment as they would have been had we been just upstairs from reception.
Indeed it was that quality of service that really set the hotel apart. For instance, we had problems with the wifi in the apartment which they couldn’t immediately fix on a Saturday night/Sunday, but as soon as an engineer could be summoned on the Monday they didn’t just “tinker”, they installed a whole new router system for the building where the 3 apartments are. How many would do that? The receptionists also spent ages patiently helping us find the sort of restaurants that we like for some of our meals. Exceptional all round.
Breakfast we took in the hotel dining room (sadly too cold for the inviting courtyard) and the quality of every element was just outstanding. They serve superb juice and a brilliant fruit platter as soon as you sit down, plus toast and coffee, while everything else is set out on a small but opulent buffet. Too many lovely things to do justice to everything, but the wow, the ham!!!
Evening aperos in the courtyard while a guitarist played were also memorable…
We’ll be back!!

Combine exquisite Andalusian style architecture, warm colors, arches and balconies, a fern filled courtyard, incredible personal service, and breakfasts fit for a king (included), and what is left to dislike?! Nada! Oh, and add in the nightly guitarist at 7:30, during whose performance you can order wine or a cocktail (extra charge). The hotel is one of the many that are hidden in the warren of tangled streets in the old town, so you must drag your luggage about 3 blocks over cobblestones. But someone on their staff helped with that both arriving and departing.
Our room was a deluxe double, which had plenty of closet space, a couple of small chairs, and a small but nicely outfitted bathroom. The mattress was fine, and the bedding and pillows typically European (in other words, rather strange to us Americans). But just fine for our four night stay. We were on the 3rd floor, with an inside balcony just outside the room - well, all the rooms - that looked down onto the central courtyard. There, tables for 2 or 4 were set up either for being served our wonderful breakfasts (by servers in white and black), or for later enjoying the guitar player or just having drinks. A helpful young man waited on us in the evenings, and the atmosphere and his professionalism were the same as if we were having pre dinner drinks in a fine restaurant.
We can see why this hotel is rated so highly. It is really special. The location is also special, close to the cathedral, a lesser known park, and many restaurants. If you need anything extra done for you, their staff is only too helpful to oblige.

Booked this hotel as our last stop travelling around Andalucia. The hotel is situated in the heart of Barrio de Santa Cruz, in close proximity to some important sightseeing’s spots eq. Seville cathedral, plaza de España etc. Due to the location in the heart of the old town, where cars are prohibited (very narrow streets), we were told to drive our car to certain location, from there a valet parking service was provided to nearby parking garage.
The only thing we could tell there is a hotel hidden there was by looking at the board of hotel’s name and the robust wooden door which leads to the ‘secret world’. Once the door was closed , We couldn’t believe our eyes, it is as if I was transferred to another world, it was so peaceful, so tranquil, so green, smells so flowery, the beautiful ornaments….a hidden paradise!
Staffs were very friendly. There wasn’t any check in counter, we were seated at the beautiful foyer, Welcome drinks were served with some petitfours. A very warm welcome.
We booked a deluxe room. Our room was on the 1st floor. A Superb and spacious room, a sort of atrium style bedroom. A wide hallways which adorned with row of windows on one side, hence a very bright hallway. It leads us to the spacious sleeping area and a spacious outdoor terrace with outdoor seats. Opposite the hallway, is the bathroom. Also another row of window adorned the bathroom.
We enjoyed staying in this small scale hotel, it was an unforgettable stay. Breakfast was good. Housekeeping was good with turndown service in the evening.
The only minus thing with our room was it is situated very close to kindergarten, hence when we open the door to the terrace/balcony, we could hear a tumultuous children voices a couple of times a day (During the drop off and pick up moments). By closing the slide door between the bedroom and terrace would helped to dim the sound tremendously.
It was nevertheless a happy ending to our Andalucia round trip. Will certainly make another trip to this amazing hotel.

A gorgeous hotel located in the heart of the Santa Cruz neighborhood. This hotel is within easy walking distance of shops, outdoor cafes, and the great cathedral of Seville.
Upon arrival, we were offered a welcoming drink by a courteous and attentive staff. Our room was comfortable and well attended. In our case we chose a room split among two floors. The bedroom was on the second floor and the bathroom was reached by means of an internal staircase. It was slightly inconvenient, but not objectionable. If you have mobility issues, consider booking a regular room.
An unexpected bonus was the nightly free concert by a classical guitarist that added a romantic touch to this great property. In addition, the hotel offers an optional American style breakfast buffet which is a good choice considering that there are limited other breakfast options.
One other item of note. If traveling to this hotel, I would strongly urge using the recommended airport shuttle service arranged through the front desk. The shuttle is not free (about 38 Euro as of Nov, 2022) and you will be responsible for payment to the driver. However, the driver will help you with your luggage and guide you to the hotel. This is important because there is no parking outside the hotel. The hotel is reachable only by foot within a maze of beautiful cobblestone streets and narrow alleyways. So unless you know where you are going, you will probably need someone to guide you to this beautiful hotel.
Bottom line: I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We booked one of the apartments located a few minutes walk from the hotel that worked out perfectly for our family of 4. The apartment was comfortable luxury, with 2 bedrooms/ 2 baths, kitchen and a washing machine that was greatly needed after traveling in Spain for 10 days. We got the same amenities and house cleaning service as the hotel and just walked the 2 blocks to the hotel for breakfast and evening guitar performances. The service from the staff was perfection. The location was right in the middle of the Santa Cruz neighborhood and within 15 minutes of everything we wanted to see in Seville. Highly recommend!

I took a friend of mine to Seville and we stayed at Casa del Poeta from Jan. 2 to 6. We had booked a suite (room 23 on the second floor). We had booked the transfer with them and our taxi driver was waiting for us upon our arrival at the airport. The driver was courteous and carried our suitcases to the hotel. If you go to Seville for the first time, for this little extra money, I would recommend that you use their taxi driver service. The hotel is located in the famous Santa Cruz area where the streets are all pedestrian and very narrow so you can get lost easily but in the end, you always find your way. We had a welcome drink upon our arrival. Their fresh orange juice is a pure delight. As we are staying in a suite, the amenities were Hermès Orange Verte (that I love). We had a turn-bed service every night with chocolates and water. The room was very quiet. I slept on the sofa bed in the living room which was very comfy. My friend who was sleeping in the bedroom appreciated also her bed. Every night, from 19h15 to 20h00 there is a guitar player on the patio, playing wonderful melodies such as Concerto de Aranjuez or Bourrée in E minor – Bach. Breakfast is served until 11h00 either in the breakfast room, the patio, or the library/red room. The viennoiseries are great. Breakfast is consistent and excellent. We had a minor problem with the sewage smell in the bathroom/AC. The receptionist took care of it immediately and in compensation offered us a meal for 2 in their restaurant nearby (San Marco). Last but not least, the staff is friendly, and professional. We had an amazing stay and I loved it so much that I decided to come back next month.

This is a lovely boutique hotel. Great location and easy to walk to everything you may want to see in Seville. The hotel staff provided outstanding service and offered great recommendations for dinning in the area. Our room was quite nice, clean and very updated. Breakfast was great as well. Seville has many small streets and this hotel is tucked away in a quiet location. Very easy to coordinate with the hotel upon your arrival and they will send a staff member to help you find their location ( as GPS does not always give exact locations in Seville due to such small streets) . It was very easy to call the hotel, and they immediately sent someone to the nearest corner to meet us. They also helped coordinate car service, restaurant and tour arrangements. A very memorable experience. And to top it off --- you MUST go up and visit their rooftop terrace when the sun goes down. It is beautiful and will provide you an amazing view of the city. And finally, every evening there will be a live guitarist in the hotel to play Spanish music so you can enjoy your drinks and relax.

Hi Sara, it’s easy to use a taxi from the station but be sure to have hotel directions. The taxi can’t get you to the door and it’s tricky to find. Look for the sign on the wall.
No hay piscina
I would say yes there is enough room if you don’t mind having your luggage on the floor if you don’t fully unpack. We loved the hotel! Our favorite on our three week vacation.
I believe so
This question has been sufficiently answered; nevertheless: sitting in the courtyard of this hotel (you will be told that the house was actually built for a poet originally centuries ago) listening to Andalusian guitare music and sipping a drink, a glass of wine or enjoying a beer is just great.
