I tell you my experience. Since our arrival we feel very good. Monica attended us at the reception and gave us a warm and welcoming welcome. He was very friendly throughout and gave us good advice on restaurants and places to visit. The location of the hotel is unbeatable and they offer a paid parking service that is highly recommended because it is a few meters away. About the room, it is very nice, the bed very comfortable, both the mattress and the pillows and with certain details that make it very special. The breakfast is great, the choice of main course is really new and we were very pleased. I thank all the reception, restaurant and cleaning staff for their excellent work in every way. Without a doubt, when we return to Seville, Tayko will be our first choice. A hug.

Really enjoyed our 5 nights stay, excellent location for access to Seville`s sights. Friendly, helpful Reception staff. Helped park our rental car on arrival (we had requested car park reservation prior to arrival). We chose to eat at one of their recommended restaurants, Casa Robles, and we hereby pass on the recommendation - excellent dining experience on their 1st floor “fine dining” area. 3rd floor room had good view over main street to watch the world go by (and roosting starlings and parakeets evey evening at sunset), and was well insulated so no noise disturbance. Room was not large, but certainly adequate for us two, and bed was comfortable. Overall would highly recommend this hotel. Tip if arriving by car: GPS navigate direct to hotel door (last part is via “pedestrian” area but allowed!) and then temporarily park just past in area of re-cycling bins. Then quick trip into Reception for car park entry card and further directions.

After an early start in Germany, we were greeted by a good-humored, helpful team at the reception in a very nice, young hotel with Mediterranean style. The hotel is ideally located to walk the beautiful Seville. For my birthday they gave us an upgrade to a junior suite - thank you again for that! The second room was relatively small, the window went to the shaft, but it was just as clean and had everything you needed. All bathroom products are from L'Occitane! We liked the furniture and design details! Breakfast was sensational: It was served and we got all the delicacies, from detox ginger drinks, fresh orange juice to yogurts to Egg Benedikt, tortillas francesas and croissants! We will definitely come back!

My husband and I traveled to Sevilla in mid October. The Hotel Tayko is centrally and conveniently located within walking to most sights, parks and restaurants, bars. Our room was located on the third floor with stunning views of the square from floor length corner windows. The separate bathroom was lovely, with rain shower and another window. There are separate, highly efficient air conditioning controls, which helped maintain cool in the room during the warm spell. The room was completely quiet despite the lively pedestrian neighborhood. Breakfast was provided on the mezzanine level with standard options as well as made to order eggs etc. While this hotel is wonderful for its location, beauty and comfortable accommodations, it is most notable for the staff. From the moment we arrived staff members helped us with many questions. No detail was too small. Our housekeeper quickly brought us additional toiletry items. Monica helped us secure parking across the street. Miguel helped us numerous times with wonderful restaurant options, nearby and also in locations a bit removed. He secured us reservations for a flamenco show (highly recommend) and dinners on two nights. At the end of our stay Miguel was enormously helpful navigating a situation with our car rental that, without his help, would have delayed our flight home. My only regret is not staying longer than our four nights. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Tayko for making our anniversary trip so special.

Recently and beautifully refurbished hotel in a perfect location, with fantastic staff who couldn’t be more helpful.
Special shout out for Maria and Miguel who made our stay extra special with great guidance, recommendations and bookings.
The rooms are really tasteful and finished to a very high standard with a great shower, quiet AC, quality linens, towels and toiletries and a Nespresso machine. They even have soundproofing, which was incredibly effective and much appreciated, since it meant we could enjoy our room facing on to the square without the downside of broken sleep!
The only criticism would be a lack of surfaces and storage shelves to put things on, but that was minor.
(We didn’t use the restaurant or bar so I can’t comment on those)

Our stay was perfect. Juan and Maria welcomed us, answered all our questions and provided excellent suggestions for dining & entertainment. The hotel is conveniently located near the Seville Cathedral, with a metro stop just a few steps away (San Bernardo station maybe?), and across the plaza from the Alphonse XIII hotel. Also within a short walk is the Guadalquivera River and the Triana area. The room was bright, clean and comfortable with a no charge fridge of soft drinks & waters (refilled as needed) a coffee/tea station, and a small safe. L’occidental brand shampoo, conditioner, body gel, hand soap, body lotion also provided in the bath. We chose to include breakfast, which was not a buffet much to our delight! Fresh orange juice, coffee/tea, fruit bowl, yogurt, granola, choice of egg dishes, bread, house-made butters, jams, pastries, all delicious. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel!

Absolutely fantastic stay at this wonderful boutique hotel, perfectly situated near the heart of the city in a fabulous building. From the moment we stepped into reception to feel the much needed coolness of the air conditioning and the warmth of the greeting from the delightful Monica made us realise we had made the right choice of where to stay for the night. The hotel itself only opened in October last year, it felt like it was straight out of the box and in perfect working order. The checking in process was a breeze accompanied by a cool glass (or maybe two!) of cava while Monica enthusiastically explained the history of the building and the ethos of the hotel. We were escorted to our rooms and had the plentiful amenities of the room explained including the complimentary mini bar and delicious freshly baked biscuit. The room is well equipped and extremely comfortable, the king size double bed looked and felt like a cloud and the overhead shower the type that you could lose an hour stood underneath deep in thought as the water cascades refreshingly over your head and body. Our journey to this oasis had been long and the outside temperature was pushing 40 degrees so we tentatively asked if the hotel had a pool, we were greeted by a wry smile from Monica, who politely informed us that they did indeed technically have a pool on the 4th floor but it was very, very small, she insisted on accompanying us to see the pool and she wasn’t wrong, it is a tiny pool, however it was perfect for our requirements and when we returned fresh towels and a glass of wine each were waiting for us. The bar/restaurant next door is also extremely good, we had some drinks and tapas to finish off the evening and the anchovies I can honestly say were the best I have ever tasted.
After a very restful nights sleep it was time to leave, Miguel the front desk manager was equally as charming as Monica, enthusiastic and clearly passionate about the hotel as if it were his own.
In summary, great location, the rooms are extremely comfortable, if you are aspiring mark spitz the pool is not for you and the staff are exceptional I will definitely return and hopefully soon.
I would also add that despite having been fortunate to have stayed in numerous hotels over the years this is probably the first review I have felt compelled to make.

Hotel Tayko is a gem in the central district of Seville. The staff is warm and kind and catered to our every need. We had the attic King room and loved it with one way view windows that could be left open to the light. The shower water is hot and strong and I appreciate the magnified makeup mirror. The bed and linens are so comfy and location is fantastic for walking and seeing all the sights. We were very pleased with our stay here.

Brilliant service and staff, really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed....sooo comfortable! The balcony made for great viewing of the street performances of flamenco, singing, and dance offs. The location is ideal for anyone who wants to be within a few mins walking distance of the key sites but also for restaurants and amenities and great nightlife. If you come from the airport on the bus, the hotel is a 2 min walk from Torre Del Oro, making it ideal for late night arrivals, especially if you're solo. I'm definitely visiting Tayko Seville again in Easter!

Excellent hotel. It was only one night, but enough to make me feel very welcome and at home. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and with great decor. The rooms are extremely comfortable, spacious bathroom and shower with great pressure. The hotel has a parking space very close by, just let them know that you have a car and they will coordinate and help you with parking. I was welcomed by Sandra who helped with luggage and parking, very friendly and helpful, and did everything possible to help us communicate (and we did!) even though we didn't speak each other's language. After all, kindness is a universal language. At reception I was welcomed with a glass of cava (it was great) and Monica was incredible: she took me to the room, showed me the amenities, and then showed me on a map the best places to visit: historic buildings, flamenco show, excellent recommendations of restaurants, neighborhoods to stroll through to discover and be enchanted by Seville. On top of all that, they even provided a small cake because it was my birthday. The care, respect and attention to the guest were unbeatable. Thank you very much and see you soon!
