A total gem of a hotel in this fabulous city. The staff throughout the hotel couldn't be more helpful or work harder to make your stay enjoyable. I have to give a shout out to lovely Ana in Reception, though all her colleagues were wonderful too. We have Cata and his ever-smiling colleagues in the breakfast room. So patient throughout one of the longest and most comprehensive breakfast offerings I've ever experienced in a hotel. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes from Seville City Centre. Such a lovely walk alongside the river which runs through the city. The hotel location cannot be faulted, with a Carrefour Express open all day until 11pm just steps from the hotel, well you have all you need. The rooms are large enough and the bathroom is substantial and well appointed with shower gel, etc. The gym is comprehensive and the pool area is great. All in all such great value for money and easily one of the most comfortable hotels I have stayed in. Bravo Hotel Monte Triana!

We enjoyed our stay at the Monte Triana and recommend it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and greeted us every time we walked by them! Housekeeping staff were very accommodating and kind too. Our room was modern and bright--the pictures on their website were accurate. They provide a work desk and 2 chairs, and we had enough outlets and USB ports to plug everything in. Wifi connection and speed were good. The bathroom had very good water pressure and a *full* shower door that *completely closed*! In Europe, y'all! They also provide thoughtful bathroom amenities like toothbrush/paste, hairbrush, body lotion, even a shower sponge. The air conditioning worked well. While the room does have a safe, it's small (our 16" laptop didn't fit). We also really appreciated that the room had a mini-fridge and coffee maker, and you were given 2 coffee pods/day. As for the rest of the hotel, we did not try the breakfast and the pool was crowded in the afternoons. We did use the gym on the 5th floor which was well-maintained but neither water nor towels are provided, so you have to bring your own. Also, the cardio equipment doesn't seem to be commercial grade - it's more like high-end home equipment. There are also 2 weight benches, light dumbbells and some cable machines. We did not have a car so did not use hotel parking. Regarding location, within Triana the hotel is amid plenty of restaurants and bars, and there is a Carrefour Express down the street. It's a pleasant, 30-minute walk to most of the tourist spots in the city center.

An excellent choice for travellers in Seville, the location is superb, just a 25minute walk to most of the sights its an excellent place to base yourself away from the hussle and bussle, Triana district isn't a tourist area so ideal for eating out with locals. The staff at Monte Triana couldn't have been more helpful at check in our room as ready early and we were allowed to check in @10:30 we were given maps and a few recommendations for lunch and directions for getting to some of the tourist spots. The rooms were so good, our room had one of the biggest beds comfortable pillows and all the toiletries you could possibly need, rooms were cleaned daily and again I couldn't fault them at all.
we requested a late check out and as the hotel wasn't at capacity this was granted for a modest fee.
The Rooftop pool area, is actually quite large for Seville, lots of loungers and parasols available and the pool was a refreshing treat, with a waterfall feature and a sort of hot tub feature as well which was a welcome relief after a day exploring this wonderful city.
overall if you are thinking of booking this hotel I would highly recommend it

This is a lovely hotel, though inside it feels more like being in Scandinavia than in Andalucía. The staff are really wonderful, probably the most friendly and helpful I have encountered in a hotel. My room was spotlessly clean and quiet (though the hotel was not that full when I was there) and the bed was comfortable. Everybody I dealt with spoke good English (which is just as well given the state of my Spanish).
I often use three simple tests for a hotel: does it provide a facecloth in the bathroom, does it serve a decent hot chocolate at breakfast and are reading lights in the bedroom that you can actually read by? This is one of the few hotels in my experience that fails on the first two of these, but still emerges as a good hotel.
The breakfast is fine (apart from the hot chocolate!) with plenty of choice, particularly the range of fresh fruit (though no bananas curiously). There are even vegetables for those who really like to start the day on a healthy note.
There are some minor niggles. The bathroom is well equipped and modern, but poorly designed. The shaving mirror is built into the main wall mirror and cannot be moved. I am of average height, but I found that I had to bend down to use it – I soon gave up. The sink is one of those that tends to splash water everywhere so the floor mat gets a lot of use. The absence of a facecloth does not help. A rather nasty plastic sponge is provided – I am sure that they can do better in this department.
The hotel does not go in for fripperies, so if you are addicted to cotton buds, face creams, nail files and eye pads you had better bring your own. Somewhat eccentrically, they do supply an emergency toothbrush and toothpaste as well as a hairbrush.
Sadly the swimming pool was not yet open when I was there.
One important thing to be aware of. Triana, where the hotel is located, is the traditional working class area of Seville on the west side of the river, so it is a twenty to twenty-five minute walk into the town centre. I like walking and one of the ways in takes you past a wonderful local market (only fully open in the mornings).

I have recently stayed here for 2 nights on a city break with my daughter.
The hotel is modern and lovely and clean. The staff are so friendly and always willing to help with restaurant recommendations or taxis etc.
The rooms are well appointed with comfy beds and little touches like slippers and good choice of toiletries.
We hired pool towels from reception which were 1.50 euros each plus a 10 euro deposit. The roof top pool is just perfect at the end of a busy day sightseeing and we didn’t have problems getting a sun bed. There is also a bar on the roof as well. We didn’t get chance to visit in the evening.
There are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance and we paid to go to the Seville tower to have a drink. Amazing views and cost 16 euros but included a drink up to 14 euros. Nice treat for a drink. There is also a shopping centre there.
We did the popular sights, the cathedral is amazing! We also visited the real alcazar which is so beautiful and plaza de espanas and las setas (fab 360 degree view of the city).
Le Terrezza Del Eme is rooftop bar overlooking cathedral which was very pretty at night. Also Atico Lobby rooftop had great views but service was slow!
All in all a really great place for a city break, one of the most beautiful cities I have visited.

This was our second visit to this hotel and once again it didn’t disappoint.
From the moment we arrived staff were friendly and helpful, check in was simple and we were quickly dealt with and in our room.
Once again the room was spotless and was cleaned every day while we were out during the day. All the staff smiled and spoke to us every time we met one of them.
In the room was tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, tooth brush and toothpaste, a brush, slippers, shampoo, etc, plus a hair dryer, they seemed to think of everything.
We were even allowed the use of bath robes during our stay.
Breakfast was to a very good standard everyday, something for everyone, they even asked if we wanted something else that they would cook for you fresh, again there was to much to list but let’s just say we didn’t go hungry or have any complaints.
In the evenings upon our return they have a full bar so we could sit and relax and have a drink before turning in, and if you wanted more there was a fridge in the room with a mini bar.
I’m sure I’ve missed loads out but you get the idea, to sum up this is a lovely hotel clean, well maintained, modern, friendly staff in a good location at a fair price, well worth a visit, can’t wait to go back.

From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. The reception was good and the room lovely! The quality of the room was high and the little touches made the whole stay very luxurious. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. There was a good selection at breakfast and again, good quality. Whilst the location was a little out of the centre of the city, it was only a few minutes brisk walk (good to digest the breakfast) away. The immediate location was charming with good restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep. We highly recommend.

You can never feel certain of what you are going to get when you book a hotel overseas, so we were happy to discover this very nice hotel in the Triana district of Seville. The location is excellent. Situated in a quiet area, yet a short and pleasant stroll to the bustling San Jacinto district with its many restaurants, cafes and bars. A 15/20 minute walk from the hotel will take you into the busy city centre with its historic attractions. You can also walk along the river bank, just a couple of minutes walk from the Monte Triana. We were welcomed to the hotel, arriving late in the evening, by the friendly and helpful receptionist, Julia. Our room was well appointed with plenty of space for clothing. The bathroom was clean with a very good shower. There was TV, aircon, a minibar/fridge, a room safe and a coffee machine with pods provided free of charge. The hotel also boasts a pleasant room terrace with a swimming pool (too cold for me, but well used by other guests) and a well equipped little gym. The hotel provides an excellent buffet breakfast with a huge variety of offerings that should satisfy any guests. I filled out a questionnaire following our stay and pointed out that the shower tray in our bathroom was quite slippery. I got an almost immediate response from the hotel advising they had resolve this issue by installing an anti-slip mat in the shower, which shows that the management are responsive to suggestions for improving the hotel. All in all, a pleasant stay. I would be happy to book the Monte Triana if I visited Seville again.

When we entered this hotel my first word was "wow". A week later I had to be dragged kicking and screaming back to the airport. Situated in one of the quieter neighbourhoods, yet within walking distance of the major sites and ceramic workshops, this hotel lived up to and surpassed it's four stars. It is spotlessly clean with many added touches in the bedrooms, such as slippers, coffee pods and quality toiletries. What can I say about the staff that hasn't been said before? - nothing - they went out of their way to be friendly and helpful with all sorts of advice and tips. I could give special praise to Pablo and Ivan who helped us so much but I wouldn't want to detract from all the rest of the wonderful staff throughout the hotel. Other points to note are the lovely rooftop terrace and pool, the breakfast selection and the bar. (The bar area itself is very modern and in my view needs some softening decor - but that's just me and we did visit it on several occasions!) We booked a package via EasyJet at short notice and suspect I could have done it cheaper if I wanted to risk losing my money if flights were cancelled. Taxi to and from the airport is 25 to 30 Euros but a bus is a lot cheaper but more hassle. Seville itself is a beautiful city and in March with the orange blossom and the sun shining...bliss ...just like hotel Monte Triana

What a lovely hotel, clean modern with friendly helpful staff from the maids, reception staff (Ivan was very helpful with booking trips and taxi),bar staff (Daniel very friendly and helpful with suggestions) and kitchen staff everyone friendly and polite. Their English was a lot better than our Spanish which was fortunate for us.
Rooms are ample in size with a very large bed, good on suite, tv ,coffee machine, fridge and air con. Only small negative we found there was only one draw to put clothes in. Good size wardrobe, full length mirror and a safe for you to use in your room. In the on suite they supplied a hair dryer which was very powerful, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and even tooth brushes, slippers for each guest and toothpaste, plus a hair brush they seemed to think of everything.
There is a roof top swimming pool with bar and even a mini gym should you wish to use it. No one fighting for sun loungers people came used them then left once they had had enough sun, seemed plenty for the amount of people staying there.
Breakfast has something for everyone, fruit, cooked breakfast, pastries, bread etc. plus tea, coffee and great fresh squeezed orange juice. There is so much more but I would be here all day listing it.
This hotel doesn’t have a restaurant for evening meals but you can get bar snack meals all day if you want to have something to eat.
As this was for our 35th wedding anniversary we wanted to go somewhere nice and this hotel delivered in every way. On the day of our arrival there was a knock on the door and they had sent us a bottle of champagne for us which was lovely, also a few days in and we came back to the room to find a plate of fruit again what a lovely touch.
In the fridge was water, beer and coke which was great as the fridge was very cold so the drinks kept lovely and cool in the 38c heat.
Plenty of places to eat and drink and only a short walk away, bus stop 5 minutes away so very handy to get around and see some of Seville.
Would I stay here again for sure this is a first class hotel and worth a visit suitable for young or old.
