The hotel's atmosphere is lauded for its spacious and elegantly adorned rooms that boast luxury and charm, despite a mention of a cooler breakfast environment. The Legado Alcazar is the hotel you do not expect in the city center. Just 200 300 m from Seville Cathedral, the Alcazar and close to every other tourist area, it is one of the best solutions to visit the city at a really attractive price.

The boutique hotel is similar to a Moroccan ryad. Quadrangular plan with a covered patio for breakfasts in the center, it develops with rooms along the sides of the perimeter.

The hotel is a small gem. In pedestrian area like almost all the center of Seville but with public parking 3 minutes walk away, it is quiet, comfortable and makes you feel immediately at ease.

The small reception managed in a perfect way by always attentive and helpful staff makes the reception almost a meeting between friends.

The rooms are spacious, furnished in a style that recovers the ancient and makes room for the contemporary. Ours had a wonderful king size bed and the surprise of a staircase leading to an opaque with a chaise longue and jacuzzi in the room.

The large bathroom, with a marble and resin standing shower, double sinks, makes it easy to live together in the morning where everyone always has their own space. Too bad that the courtesy / bathroom kits are not of the highest quality, but still remain more than good and fragrant to the skin.

At 5 pm, tea offered with small pastries for those returning from tours and wanting a moment of relaxation before leaving to go and stock up on tapas in restaurants (often very touristy) walking distance.

A place to save and to return to. Too bad, those who know me know, they don't accept Amex. A drop in style and service in a hotel that would otherwise be simply perfect for those staying two or three nights in Seville.

We were warmly welcomed and given the necessary tips for visiting Seville.

Cozy and small-scale hotel, charming and neat rooms, great location of the hotel, near the Cathedral and the Reales Alcazar.

Breakfast is well prepared and delicious, not a buffet but à la carte: you get fresh fruit salad, fresh orange juice and a fruit yoghurt after which you can choose from a number of 'starter' and 'main' dishes

Brilliant hotel, it is right next to the walls of the Real Alcãzar and from rooms at the back you can see into the palace gardens. The front of the hotel is on a quiet side street so feels like a hidden secret. We had room 18 on the top floor which includes a large terrace with a bath on it!!! Don’t worry there is a proper bathroom as well LOL, sadly I never got to use it because whilst we were there an unusual weather front came in and it rained a lot. Beds were comfortable, there is a nespresso machine in the room, coffee is taken seriously in Spain. My only slight niggle is that the wardrobe was small and only 6 hangers.

The breakfasts were phenomenal a starter of fruit salad, some yoghurt and fresh orange juice, then a selection of 2 more courses from the menu. Everything was delicious and Mamma Allegra made sure you ate properly, the day my husband declined a 2nd course (he wasn’t feeling well) she doubled up his croissant to make sure he’d eaten. There is a small but full equipped kitchen delivering delicious food.

In the afternoon they opened up the breakfast room for complimentary hot drinks and snacks.

Adrian whose shift was the afternoon/evening was lovely and chatty. He helped us book a fabulous restaurant for our anniversary dinner. Allegra sent us off to the airport with a picnic breakfast because we had to leave before breakfast was served, she also gave us coffee while we waited for our taxi. When we arrived we thought we’d see Seville and be done but the hotel made us so welcome and feel like family that we are determined to return just to see them.

(Any review you read that says the staff are unhelpful or rude is clearly written by someone who was rude to the staff and demanding the impossible, disregard those reviews.)

The hotel was well located, very close to the Royal Alcazar and the Seville Cathedral. There are only 18 rooms in this hotel and there is a living room/lounge area on the ground floor. There is tea service in the afternoon. We had 2 rooms for our children and ourselves. They were both on the ground floor which was convenient. Checking in took a little longer than expected at the small reception desk because we had to fill our paper work which even the kids had to sign. Some of this should have been sent before to us to complete to save on time. It felt like we were in the way because there is really nowhere to stand and keep your luggage while others are trying to check out, in the small corridor that also serves as an entrance and exit of the hotel. The rooms were adequate but in our room there was a pungent smell that we couldn’t quite figure out. Everything looked clean but there was a scent of sewage in the room. The kids’ room did not have the same scent. We went to lunch and then to a tour of the Royal Alcazar and came back at the end of tea time. The kids had some juice and an apple. We went back to the room and the stench was still bad. We did not have time to report it and we were only there for one night. We left for dinner and walked around the square which was lovely. We came back and the room smelled worse than ever. My husband brewed coffee in the room, we sprayed perfume. We have no idea what was wrong with our room. But in any case, we had to go to bed to get up early to leave for our train. Do we slept in the room with the stench and left early in the morning. We found a lovely place for breakfast nearby which was much cheaper and had more variety than the hotel’s a la cate breakfast with a 20 euro cover charge for both adults and kids. If i had the choice, I would not stay here again, though its proximity to the important sites was close.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for one night and everything about our stay was perfect…

The most gorgeous room with the biggest bed I’ve ever seen, it was so comfortable to sleep in I wish I didn’t have to leave! We had a deluxe room with stunning views to the garden where Game of Thrones was filmed! We saw lots of peacocks and beautiful bright green birds whilst relaxing on the terrace, there was a jetted bath which was super relaxing (something I’ve never experienced before this stay).
This hotel had everything & I could go on about how beautiful everything was forever.

I’d also like to mention the lovely staff member who made our stay in Seville even more memorable, Paula.
She gave us recommendations on which sights to see, places to eat (which we tried and loved!), recommended the best shopping strips, she gave us a complimentary bottle of Cava after the one we wanted was out of stock, she made our exploration of Seville even more special, you have a fantastic staff member who truly cares for her guests, thank you so much Paula 🩷

I can say with confidence that this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I highly recommend to anyone reading this to book their stay here. 10/10!

We stayed here for my birthday for four nights in January. The hotel was very lovely. It was small, but charming, unique and with so much character. The room was so clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. It boasted a view to the Real Alcazar gardens and had a typical balcony. The location was amazing, extremely central, and we could just walk to the main sights (Alcazar, Giralda, Plaza de Espana, etc). The staff was extremely nice and attentive. The breakfast was definitely a highlight. It was freshly prepared every morning, where we had a choice for a starter and main (with choices of sourdough bread, toast, jamon, eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc) and they even remembered our coffee order for every morning! On the morning of my birthday, I received a cupcake with a candle on it, which was a nice touch.

Located in a quiet street near the Real Alcazar, this small boutique hotel is near many attractions, shops and restaurants. My pre-booking communication by email was received quickly and their prompt responses were in good, clear English. Check in was a little slow because there was only one staff member and all my information was taken manually. However, the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Our room 17 had a patio that faced the Real Alcazar park. It was beautiful to sit and relax in the afternoon while listening to the chirping birds and peacocks. The room had the usual amenities like safe, coffee maker, hair dryer and TV. The WiFi was strong and stable. Our queen bed was comfortable, the AC worked well.
Breakfast is ordered from a fixed menu, but the staff were willing to make whatever they could if it wasn’t on the menu. A complimentary tea/snack time late afternoon was great to have before heading out for evening events and dinner. Overall we had a great experience at Hotel Legado Alcazar and would recommend a stay here.

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t believe how well we’d chosen the hotel. Small boutique feel with very friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend asking for recommendations for restaurants as some of our best meals were suggested by staff. Location was a huge benefit of this hotel as we were seconds away from the Alcazar and Giralda so it was easy to stop off at the hotel when it got too hot during the day. Our room was also beautiful and we loved how all the rooms are different- if we ever come back to Seville, I look forward to staying here again. No complaints.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here. Usually when I travel I try to spend as little time in a hotel room as possible but on this trip I couldn't wait to get back to our room! It was beautiful and very clean. The view of the gardens from our terrace was so serene and I LOVED all the birds! The staff was so helpful and accommodating, my husband's luggage was misplaced by the airline and the hotel staff did all the work contacting them on our behalf and coordinating the delivery. Highly recommend this place and if you can get the room with the outdoor tub you won't regret it!

My husband and I stayed at this well located and presented boutique hotel in Seville for 2 nights. We stayed in the wonderful room 13. It offered a outdoor terrace balcony overlooking the gardens of the Alcazar Palace gardens. The room is very spacious, beautifully decorated, and styled with a very large comfortable bed, along with plenty of storage and an immense luxurious bathroom. The check-in and check out were both seamless. The hotel staff offered a very personal and professional service always making us feel welcomed during our stay. The hotel breakfast was delicious. It was a 2 alarte course with sufficient choice and presented well on the plate. We would totally recommend this lovely Seville hotel to any couple wishing for a relaxing and well located hotel.
