We had an excellent 2 night stay at Hotel Puerta de las Granadas. What is there not to like? Amazing value, clean, warm, quiet, great water pressure, comfortable beds, friendly and efficient staff and as close as you can possibly get to the Alhambra without actually staying up there. If we had been there when the weather was warmer the roof top terrace would have been a real treat. Would recommend it without hesitation.

Hotel's Favourite
Great hotel in excellent location! We loved this hotel, our room was on the 1st floor facing the Cuesta de Gomérez. Room had small balcony overlooking the street and when the balcony doors were closed there was no noise from the street below. Room temperature was perfect, bed was very comfortable, shower and products all to a high standard. Lovely roof-top bar/restaurant with view of the Alhambra where we had a pre-dinner drink each evening - we choose not to eat there as there are lots of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Breakfast was also very good.

Could not have been happier with this very chic and comfortable hotel. Situated on the road leading up the steep hill to the Alhambra, this is a small boutique hotel with extra touches. The room was small but comfortable. A full bed and fantastic bathroom. The extras are things like rooftop terraces and patios, a library, gym and a really amazing breakfast buffet, with choices for everyone. The staff was super helpful. Really enjoyed our two night stay at this fun spot!

We booked two rooms for our family - one for us one for our teenage boys. The rooms were ideally located nearby. We met up with friends who also stayed at the hotel. We all found the rooms beautifully designed and clean. We had a lovely view too. It’s conveniently located to walk to the Alhambra. Friendly staff.

I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the rooms in this hotel are. It is situated very near the actual Puerta de Las Granadas to the Alhambra. The room we had was spacious, and it even had a private, outdoor patio. I can't wait to come back to Granada and stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is on a slight incline but ideally situated right at the beginning of the excursion to the Alhambra. The staff on Reception were very polite and helpful. The hotel was immaculately clean and my room was attended to daily. The hotels in Andalucia appear to provide access facilities for wheel chair users. The bed was very comfortable and quiet.

Brilliant location just off the Plaza Neuva. Great little modern hotel with loads of facilities despite its small size - it was such a refreshing change from all the big business hotels with just reception and bedrooms. Our room was small with no view but it had everything you need - plus a half-bottle of cava. Special thanks to the lady on reception who went out of her way to book our train tickets for us after my phone refused to talk to Renfe's website. Would definitely stay here again and try to make more use of the facilities next time.
