The Hotel Casa Capitel is an ancient Renaissance palace built in 1503 and located in the picturesque area of the Albaicin, in front of the Alhambra in Granada and in the city center, close to the cathedral. It is a palace with lintels and Tuscan columns, Corinth capitals, Arabic chromium-plated beams; Renaissance decorated wooden ceiling and two Roman columns.Among all the artistic whole stands out an exquisite Nazari Capitel carved in alabaster, what makes it a piece unique in the world.Wooden beams original from the XVIth century are leaned on the artistic whole. These beams support the first and second floor of the building.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The first thing you appreciate is it’s location, which despite being a 10 minute walk from the nearest parking, is in the perfect location to explore the flamenco and tapas of Plaza Nuevo and the many other delights of this

Dear Guest First of all, we would like to thank you for your comment following your recent stay at the Hotel Casa Capitel Nazarí. As you perfectly described , the hotel is situated in a restricted area that is why the hotel strongly recommends parking the car in one of the two parking it has agreement with. The Hotel allows you to take a taxi to reach the hotel for the first time and the taxi is refunded. Once again, thank you for your time; we will be pleased to see you in other occasion. Best regards, Customer Department Service

Definitely take a cab. They took us right to the lane way the hotel is on.

Is there paking at the hotel?
There is no parking directly at the hotel, as the hotel is in the middle of the Old Town, where there are restrictions on car traffic. But, when we booked our stay at the hotel, we received detailed instructions on parking relatively nearby the hotel, and we got a discount on the parking price with a ticket from the hotel. As I recall, it is approximately 5-10 minutes walk from the parking to the hotel.

Hello! If you arrive to the Train station ( Renfe ), the walking distance is about 15 minutes, but if you arrive to the Bus Station ( Alsa ), the walking distance is about 35 minutes, in that case it is better to take a taxi. Thanks!
