Great breakfast plenty of choice of hot cold cereals breads sweet options and freshly made pancakes and omelettes
Fantastic location and has its own lift to the top street, would return every single time to this hotel for these 2 reasons alone
Rooms are lovely and roomy, very clean and was seen to by the maids every day of our
7 day stay, sun loungers and terraces are also lovely
Couldn’t of actually faulted the hotel at all until the weekend. Would of recommended to everyone as a relaxing peaceful hotel just what you want from a holiday

Negative
The live music is on Thursday Friday Saturday. On the Thursday it was unbearably loud - being on the second floor pool facing it actually felt as though he was on our balcony singing. Feel like personally due to the volume this should not continue until 2330 and for the comfort of all the other guests (except the very few sitting at the bar watching him) it should finish a little bit earlier. Didn’t mind the singing just was on a little late
On the Saturday an influx of groups of teenagers and children with less adults came in to the hotel. They ran around the hotel like a youth club and although it is at no fault of the hotel they caused so much disruption and noise to the roof terrace and were not apprehended by staff except once. They should of been repeatedly directed to the children pool on the bottom floor
Also at no fault of the hotel but the room Next door to us had a party on the Saturday night and this continued until 4.30am. Had to tell reception a couple of times in which they did knock on but it continued once they had left :(

So a great start to the week but was very busy and loud over the weekend, for these reasons I would consider a quieter hotel next time if I was to come over a weekend.

We stayed at the MS Aguamarina Suites for 8 nights in July 2022. On arrival we were greeted by friendly reception staff, they weren’t sure if the room was ready when we arrived but after a quick phone call they said it was. One of the men working on reception showed us up to our rooms which was nice and told us about the hotel facilities.

We booked a junior suite with a city view and the room was spacious enough for 2 of us. The room consisted of a bed, sofa, table, tv, kettle and coffee machine and a bathroom - the only annoying thing was the bathroom door was literally just a bit of glass and had gaps all the way round so water could leak out from the shower.
We were booked in for breakfast and there were plenty of options, selections of fruit, cooked items, bread, cold cheeses and meats and cereal as well as tea, coffee and juices.

The hotel pool was good, always sun beds available as there wasn’t any idiots there who reserved them from 7am!! The hotel also had an outdoor jacuzzi on the 7th floor which was nice to use of an evening. The spa was also really nice and the treatments aren’t too expensive.

The hotel is a 5 minutes walk down to the beach where there are restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a lift up into the town centre, once out of the lift it’s about a 5 minute walk into the centre where there are shops, restaurants and bars as well as the train station and buses.

Definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay again!

Spent a week in a suite here. Room was big and spacious, good storage options.
The plastic table and chairs on the balcony should be replaces with a better option.
Bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I´ve ever slept in while staying in a hotel, gold star for that one.
Location was good, beach and city within walking distance.
Pool area was good and clean, the pool was good temperature and decent size.
Breakfast had good options, but fake scrambled eggs at a hotel like this is a bad choice.
There was a water leak at our floor that was being fixed, and the hotel overall needs a quick makeover in order to get more guests and charge more, I´m happy to come back when that has been done.

Just back from an enjoyable stay at this well positioned, clean hotel.
The beds are super comfy and it is worth paying for a pool view as some of of the rooms have view of a wall.
Brilliant sun roof top terrace with a jacuzzi and plenty of sunbeds, the hotel is a 3 minute walk to the sea front.
The rooms are cleaned every day and fresh towels provided, the breakfast is a buffet style and how everything you may need.

Returned recently from a 3 night stay in the aguamarina, we had a lovely time and would definitely stay again if we return to Torremolinos .

The location of the hotel is perfect. 2 minute walk to the beach, and out the back of the hotel is a lift that leaves you 5 min walk to the main shopping area with loads of restaurants and bars.

The hotel is spotless with a beautiful pool area as well as an indoor heated pool and roof top terrace with raised plunge pool. we were really happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel

The hotel had publicly advertised on their own website an all-inclusive offer which I had duly booked with three other guests. We excitedly organised all our flights and relaxed in the safe knowledge that everything was organised.

Then completely without warning and without any attempt to compensate us they decided it had all been a mistake and that their computer system had "glitched" and that they wouldn't now continue with our reservations!

They even had the audacity to ask if we'd like to book rooms on a board only basis for the same price as the all-inclusive offer!!

No apologies were offered, no attempt to address the issue of costs incurred for our flight bookings that had been made in good faith.

Even if their excuses regarding a "glitch" had been true then you would expect any decent hotel to at least offer some form of compensation for the inconvenience caused.

Instead they have done nothing except cancel all our bookings without any attempt to keep our good custom.

An absolutely disgraceful attitude from a chain that I have stayed with on many previous occasions......but NEVER AGAIN!!

A second visit to this hotel this time booking direct . The hotel is well serviced by pleasant staff especially the reception area. They are so helpful especially MS Jesus better known as Maria.
The rooms are large and have probably the best walk in showers we’ve had in hotels. Water pressure and temperature first rate .
Flat screen large tv had loads English tv Chanel’s for afternoon room chilling time .
Breakfast is both plentiful and varied . Cooked or continental with plenty of choice , even sparkling wine for early morning complimentary tipple !!!
There are plenty seated area inside , loads sunbeds and several patio areas .
It’s second line but only 300mtrs from sea front with plenty of eating places for all pallets .
Just a good value , well kept non pretentious hotel with a lovely reception smile every time .

This is a good hotel. It is situated near the town (which can be accessed via a lift) and the sea front. The train to Malaga runs regularly for 4 euros each way and is very accessible. An uber cost around 20 euros for 1 way.

Just outside the front of the hotel, you can find a local shop for groceries and a car hire shop.

Our rooms were very clean on arrival with a bottle of water left in the fridge. Clean linen and towels were left daily.

The television had most uk channels if you decide to sit indoors.

The room came with air conditioning and a safe that can be used for a deposit of 5 euros (big enough for a 12" tablet)

The food was very good with plenty of choice for breakfast and lunch. We stayed for a week and found a different choice each night.

There was entertainment from Thursday to Saturday in the bar area. The drinks were slightly more expensive than in town but that is to be expected.

The gym and spa area is great and very clean. There is also a jacuzzi and sun loungers on the rooftop.

We had a great holiday and would like to thank the staff who were very friendly and helpful at all times.

1 week stay only Hotel appearance overall very nice, clean, well maintained and housekeeping brilliant. Staff very polite and helpful but maybe because it was coming to the end of the season the indoor bar was closed and the pool bar staff were not to be found at all sometimes (only to be told they could be doing something else)? There were times when we waited and waited for pool bar staff only to walk out and leave the hotel to get a drink outside of the four walls. Food quite bland no variation through out the week and seemed to cater for the Scandinavian clientele which guests were in abundance. Dining room staff very busy but well presented.
Entertainment was poor but again end of season I suppose.
1 tip for guests always book a room with a balcony otherwise you are on the back of the hotel facing a brick wall… our room was total blackout, however we did ask to move but we’re advised the hotel was fully booked. Advantages of hotel is the location.. it is v v close to the central square and train station. Beaches and shops and other drinking and eating options within easy walking distance.

We booked a bit of a last minute on the cheaper side holiday for myself, my partner, my son and his girlfriend. We had two suites which were spacious and had a seating area, large double bed and a small kitchen area with a kettle, hob, fridge and microwave. I would only criticise that there was no tea/coffee/sugar provided. Please be aware some rooms don't have a balcony apparently so double check. Rooms were cleaned daily which we didn't expect. All the staff were really pleasant.
The breakfast was plentiful with a lot to choose from and really good. The pool area is lovely and we never struggled for beds. There is a gym and indoor pool too. There is a handy lift that takes you up to the top street at the back of the hotel which then just leaves you a few minutes walk up the hill to the main shops and squares. Out the front of the hotel you are a few minutes from the beach and sea front shops, bars and restaurants. We also found some lovely places to eat if you walk past the big Melia hotel and follow the path round the rock.
To summarise - clean, great value, good breakfast and facilities in a central location!

Wondering if they hire mattress toppers (in the room)
Answer from Jessica C
I have stayed at the hotel before and then you could ring a bell and they would open the elevator door. I think there is a camera so they can see who you are. But today I emailed the hotel with the same question.
