Everything about this hotel is excellent. We travel to Marbella quite often and always stay at the NH. We are never disappointed. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from central Marbella which makes it easily accessible but also very quiet.
We came to Marbella to celebrate our wedding. So we needed a dependable hotel that could look after us and make sure that everything we needed was taken care of. We stay oftenin the NH in Madrid and also in other European countries so we knew what to expect with regards to the rooms and service and we were not disappointed. All the staff that we engaged with were really helpful and happy to help with any request. the rooms were cleaned daily and overall we felt like the stay was well worth it to have a base in the area that we could operate our wedding planning from. I even had to work from home for a couple of days and the internet was good enough for that I was also able to work from the pool so the telephone signal around the pool was enough for me to be able to hotspot. Overall the pool is really nice I was able to find a bed every time and it was very calming and relaxing and I felt like it was great to have a pool that felt a bit like a spa. Once again the staff were very helpful and I would highly recommend staying here. We had a hire car and parking was fine I imagine during high season it will be more difficult to find a spot outside but for the time being it worked very well for us. We never tried the breakfast we would go to the supermarket around the corner to get some breakfast and coffee as we know the area well you are about 7 minutes from the beach and pretty well located if you wanted to walk into town.…
Excellent service from friendly, efficient staff; beautiful, well-maintained pool area.Hotel well-placed for travel to both Marbella and Puerto Banus. Nearby supermarket. Bus stops in easy walking distance.
Really awful stay in August. The room (directly off the lobby) was noisy throughout the night due to an all-night party happening in the neighbouring room. The front desk dismissed us and refused to allow us to move rooms. However due to the thin walls, we could hear hotel staff repeatedly pleading with the host of the party to shut it down. Threatening atmosphere and I understand the police were eventually called the next day. We were booked for 3 nights but left after 1 - to their credit the front desk refunded us the next day without too much of a fuss. The pool looked nice but didn't get the chance to use it. Room was drab and tired, and was dark as the window faced onto a brick wall
We booked a superior room and stayed in room 424. The superior room gives an extra sitting room which is windowless. The main window is also smaller than standard rooms meaning the room was dark. I would not recommend the superior room. Our room smelled of tobacco but we chose not to complain as we were only there for 3 nights. Has to call maintenance twice - broken hairdryer and blocked sink. However they arrived promptly and were very nice. Hotel was very clean and staff helpful. Breakfast was average. Disappointed overall as other NH hotels have always been good value for money.
