The hotel is in a good location. Close to town and main beach, plus port. Checkin was easy and staff polite with good English. Our first room was really nice, plenty of storage, but no view and the hotel next door was having work done so was noisy. We mentioned this to reception and they immediately found us a new room, with a balcony and an amazing bathroom feature. All rooms come with minibar at cost, hairdryer, straighteners, safe with all nations internal socket, all cupboards have lights, kettle, nespresso machine, free shampoo, soap, toothbrush, razor, etc… not forgetting a free drink on them at the bar. However, this room was missing straighteners, drinks voucher, came with 4 decaf pods and appeared it hadn’t been cleaned properly. Show cap used, no slippers, and hair on the floor. I believe it probably wasn’t sanitised either, I now have covid which could come from anywhere, but two days we had to mention errors in housekeeping. One of the chairs broke, the sink plug broke. This room 206 came with very little storage and we couldn’t unpack both suitcases fully. That said, the bar and pool are excellent, the staff at reception were amazing. No vegan options on the menu, but that’s typical of Malaga. The staff did find us some locations, the first was amazing.
Would I recommend this hotel, yes, but not at the price. Too many problems, some I’ve not listed.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for her birthday in March. We were two black girls travelling alone in Malaga so we were a bit anxious. At first we struggled to find a hotel that fit both of our requirements and aesthetics. We wanted somewhere chic and modern but also convenient and accessible to the places we wanted to go. Luckily, I found this gem on booking.com, and I fell in love with its interior and overall vibe. The decor is exquisite and very modern, it makes you feel very luxurious but at the same time comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect if you want somewhere to stay that’s close to the town centre but also not too far from the airport, beach etc. You can walk to most places as it’s right by the beach but also at the town centre. The moment we walked in the hotel, the staff took extra care of us, they were super friendly, taking our luggage and helping us check in. We wanted to upgrade our room so we were lucky enough to be introduced to Fran who showed us all the different rooms and took the time to explain all the features in the room. We want to take this time to say a special thank you to Fran who made our whole trip fantastic. I am someone who loves convenience, especially on holiday, and his recommendations and service was superb that I cannot wait to go back. He took the time to recommend and book us a traditional flamenco show, he recommended the best spa we’ve ever been to (hammam anadalus) and the best restaurant spots in Malaga etc. Honestly, without Fran, our trip wouldn’t have been as special as it was. He really took care of us and became our own guide around Malaga. Moreover, we would also like to thank the entire staff at Only You Hotel from reception, bars, to the restaurant, they know how to treat their guests with care and love. The only feedback we would say is that we were charged extra for room service e.g. ordering wine etc, so we ended up having to go upstairs all the time to save on the cost which was tedious. I wouldn’t bother staying at any other hotel aside from this one, so thank you to all the staff, particularly Fran, for making Malaga such a positive experience for us. Salud!

The level of service provided by the staff is incredibly high. From the warm welcome by the charming GM Pedro to receptionist Laura fantastic local knowledge and recommendations.
The rooms were beautifully finished (especially loved the bathrooms with come with a rainfall shower & very cool bath that can even open up into the bedroom.
The rooftop pool, although small is perfectly formed and offers breathtaking views of the City. We had some absolutely delicious Sangria to accompany our Jamon Iberico - quite possibly the best Sangria I’ve ever had.
The breakfast was also amazing - So much choice! From local cheeses and hams to fresh juices, pastries, yoghurt and delicious cranky prepared items from the menu. The GM Pedro would also come and say hello to guests at breakfast to see how they were enjoying their stay at the Only You - such a lovely, personal tough.
This is a real gem of a hotel. I cannot wait to go back again 😊

The hotel is perfectly located with easy access to the old town and great access to the port area. We had a sea view room which had an ok view, more Port view than sea view although very pleasant. The room was really comfortable, modern and exceptionally well equipped - it even had hair straighteners! One minor bit of feedback would be it would be nice to have bottled water supplied on a daily basis in the room. For the price charged, this should be a given. However this is really minor, the staff were lovely and really friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. We ate in the restaurant upstairs on one evening and it was ok but nothing special, we had far better and nicer meals in the local restaurants. The roof top terrace was lovely but didn’t get to use it as the sand storm/ Sahara rain hit and the hotel had a huge cleanup operation. This was entirely outside their control so it’s not a complaint at all. We would definitely stay again and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. If you want a lovely hotel in central Malaga, this is the one!

Stayed in 2 rooms for 6 nights with family members (including our 6 month old grand daughter). Firstly the staff were exceptional particularly Maria who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The hotel location allows very easy access to all the key areas of the city. The rooms are modern and the bathrooms very chic. Storage areas in the room are a little limited but this was only a minor niggle. The breakfasts were first class. The bar areas are a good place to have a beer and watch the world go by. The roof top pool is also a great area to hang out however sun beds are limited. Overall, we had a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

We visited Only You in Malaga during our honeymoon and our experience can only be described as amazing. The team had made an incredible effort in taking care of our room, with so many different details to make our stay enjoyable. They had ballons, wine, strawberries and more decorations on the bed. They even took the time to add a handwriten card with their wishes for our marriage, which was very touching.
All the staff were very polite and spoke good English (which is uncommon in Spain). They helped us out with booking tickets to Alhambra and were available 24/7.
The room had a beautiful view and both shower and bathtub with amenities. The giraffe bathrobe is a hit and we wish they had it for sale to take back with us!
The restaurant on the 7th floor has very good Spanish food and the poolside bar on the 8th floor is a great spot for lounging and having a drink. The hotel's location is very convenient to visit Malaga on foot but the staff is also very helpful to assist with arranging parking if you are visiting by car, which can be tricky in the area.
Overall, we particullarly enjoyed our stay and we will never forget the people who made our honeymoon visit so special!

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights B&B from February 20th. to 27th. The room number was 509a. The cost for B&B for the 7 night stay was €2570. The evening we arrived I went to the bar and asked for a beer. I was given a mouthful by a surly female bartender and charged €3. See attached photo. The shower in our room was leaking badly and we had to mop up the floor with towels after each use. We had no electricity in the room for a whole morning and no explanation or apology was given. On three occasions we had to ask for toilet paper for our room (once from reception and twice from the cleaning staff). We were disappointed with the hotel and would not stay there again. Before posting this review I contacted the hotel by email on Monday February 28th. I am not surprised that to date they have not addressed the issues I raised.

Perfect location for walking to the Old Town, Soho, Port and local beaches (malagueta – 10mins, Caleta – 20mins. ). We never felt the need to use taxis or public transport when doing anything in Malaga.
Two rooms, Premium for the parents and Classic for the two teenagers. The premium room was more than large enough for the 10 days and had a small balcony looking out towards the port area. The classic room was smaller and only had a view of the building internals, however was more than enough for two teenagers. Special mention to the housekeeping who did a great job each day of making up the rooms and even topped up the water in the Nespresso tank on a daily basis.
The pool area on the roof wasn’t massive, but was still large enough for passing 4 or 5hrs and having the odd dip to stay cool. I’m generally up early so was able to get 4 sunbeds every time we planned to spend time at the pool. We didn’t eat very often in the hotel, just the odd light breakfast and everything was good.
Overall very happy with the hotel, the location was perfect and the pool area whilst small was fine for spending some relaxing time.

We’ve been here twice now and have contemplated staying. The problem for me for a five star hotel I would expect both soap dispensers to be working in the toilet and I would also expect the light timer in the female toilets to not shut down after five seconds. These things need to be updated and upgraded so it feels truly five star. The drinks selection is good and the service is attentive. The prices are also incredibly reasonable

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed in for city break. All of the staff are friendly and very responsive to everything The room we had( premium larios) had great view over the city - it was quiet though even next to main road. The room is very comfortable and clean We had cake and cava in room as bday/ anniversary. Breakfast in lola is immense - so much choice with fantastic views. We even had bucks fizz every day. The hotel is perfectly located in centre, close to everything. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Yes there is a lovely promenade that leads right around the lovely port area with restaurants/shops and cafes. The whole area around the hotel is pretty flat so would be fine for a wheelchair. The old town is flat and marble tiled, not cobbles, so again ideal. Lifts in the hotel so I think it would be ideal. It’s a beautiful hotel!
No tiene parking privado, tiene una pequeña zona de carga y descarga para dejar las cosas en la parte trasera del hotel. Cerca hay bastantes aparcamientos a precios asequibles.
Antes de llegar al hotel y llamando con tiempo, la gente de recepción puede avisar para que algún trabajador del hotel os ayude con las maletas, en ese aspecto no hay problema.
