Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Lovely little guest house in the old town. Perfect for seeing the local attractions, shopping bars and restaurants etc. Rooms in this hotel are of good standard but only suitable for solo travelers. Buffet breakfast is served at the nearby Hotel Alt which is a 2 minute walk away. Lovely little German bar called Julio’s next door. Had a pleasant stay and will definitely be back again.

Reasonably Priced Accommodation well located to the centre of the Alstadt area.Plenty of bars and eateries in the vicinity.Breakfast was included but i had to go a few blocks away to their Sister hotel for it.All in all a 'No Frills' establishment that suits a purpose for a quick 2 night visit .

Simple equipment, but sufficient, very good breakfast, very friendly service, everywhere clean. Great price. Maximum satisfaction, just wifi did not work. Metro 3 minutes, train station 3 metro stations (max. 15 min.) City center 0 minutes. :-)

Hi all, we have just spent 3 nights at this hotel(Haus Rheinblick) in Düsseldorf. It is a little old fashioned and more suitable for younger people as there is no lift available. It is a comfortable little place, clean, and good showers. The best bit for us was the all you can eat buffet breakfast! It is quite noisy with the bar life on the street and if you walk 200 metres, you are on the banks of the river which is absolutely alive with bars, ice cream parlours etc. I would definitely stay here again.

I came to Düsseldorf to see the Christmas Markets and I was very impressed with the hotel location: the hotel is literally a minute from Burgplatz, where you can visit one of the markets, and 3min from the Rathaus, where you can see another market. The others are all walking distance, I probably walked max. 15min to see one of the other markets!! In Burgplatz you can also see the fantastic river view, so that is a minute walking distance too. If you walk the opposite way, in 2min you can find two museums. My room was good, basic, small, but I had everything I needed .. Wifi was good even on the 3 floor (the password is in the info book on the room desk) and heating good. I read in the other reviews that it can be quite noisy, and I confirm that: there are few bars in front and next to the hotel, but the hotel itself is quiet and discreet (I had a shared bathroom, but no problems about that) .. Just bring some earplugs and is gonna be ok!!

I stayed in the Gasthasu Rehinblick two or three times. I have good memories from this place, situated near Rhein river, offering a wonderful view on the large, nice river. Good German meal, good bear, nice young owners. A very cosy, peaceful place, good for staying there for 2 - 3 days, nice rooms, clean and beautiful.

First the good points: very clean, excellent breakfast, good shower and towels even if tiny bathroom. Nicely located in terms of handy to everything and in the old town which is more interesting than downtown. However, this is the noisiest hotel I've ever been in my life even with double-glazed windows closed and earplugs! It's smack opposite a cuban bar which plays loud music till after 7am plus there are at least a couple more pubs below and across the road which is only a two-lane job but busy with cars and motorbikes. (Plus some wheeling and dealing in the street in the early hours of the morning as well). There is no elevator and no reception as such, either. The breakfast girl is dour and the wifi seemed to work well when I was here. Having said all that which mostly agrees with many other comments preceeding mine, this is Düsseldorf and the old town is very rowdy all over particularly in the weekends.

Stayed with friends. Located in a street with some bars but the city centre is a five minute walk. The hotel is very small. Don't expect luxury. It is a cheap but clean hotel with small rooms, no lobby and a simple breakfast

This small hotel does not have a whole lot to offer, but it is affordable. It is very close to the Altstadt and Rhine river shore, every downtown sight within walking distance. The Weihnachtsmarkt begins right on the doorstep. Parking is in the nearby Kunsthalle parking. No elevator so carry your luggage up the stairs. Rooms are basic, toilet/shower is tiny. Streetside is quite noisy most of the night. Breakfast is ok.

This was quite a place ... simple and small but clean room. Staff was nice, partly shy. Breakfast was quite generous. The noise was something though - especially in a humid night. Not sure it is better if you get a room to the back. My "average" is due to the staff which was quite OK ...
