A friend and I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights in the start of July 2021. The room was of the type “First Class Twin”. What you should be aware of is that there is no door from the bathroom into the room. However, if you are laying on the bed you are not able to watch the person in the bath (this room type). The toilet is separated from the bathroom – and luckily has a door ;-)
My conclusion: I can highly recommend the hotel.
The hotel is centrally located in walking distance from St. Pauli (Reeperbahn), Speicherstadt, Portugiesenviertel (lots of restaurants). 300 meters from the hotel you find Großneumarkt where there are also restaurants. Although the hotel is centrally located there is not much noise.
There is a parking garage under the hotel which costs € 25 per night.
The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was great.

We have spent weekend in Hamburg, staying for two nights in the Lindner hotel. This hotel is very well located within 10-15 min walk to Elbe (port), Alster lake or shopping area. Place is very quiet, with good standard in the rooms and nearby there are quite a lot of bars and restaurants.

The hotel has a very good location in Hamburg and also to various public transport. The breakfast buffet has a large selection and the beds are comfortable. However, maintenance is required in all areas. For a 4 star hotel in this price range, the bed linen and towels should be free of holes, and the cleaning also has potential for improvement. The location is the key point for the hotel. If you are looking for a small breakfast for less money and want a really good coffee, you can find it at "feels like Coffee & Art" Hütten 54, just a 2-minute walk away.

On your website you say that there is a chef to make omelets and other warm dishes, but in the days we were there she was never at the breakfast and when she was finally there she was very slow and did not really understand what we wanted. We were very excited for a four star hotel but when we stepped in the hotel we we’re quite disappointed because the hotel really needed a fresh up. But one of the quite good things were the service, and the guys in the bar made our experience much better.

We were in transit in Hamburg in these difficult times, and ended up spending two nights here. Room was lovely, spacious, well decorated, good shower and other facilities. Hotel is in a perfect position for walking everywhere, shops and coffee house other side of the road, and good restaurants very near by (of course, hotel restaurant was shut due to restrictions). Having said that coffee and croissants were provided, and it seemed things were freeing up as we left. The staff were incredibly helpful, and I cannot say enough good things about them. From helping us print tickets (we had no printers for 7 weeks), to organizing our onward trip to Kiel, helping us store baggage...nothing was too much for them. It was all done with a smile too.

Do take the bus no. 17 from Hauptbahnhof if you have heavy luggage. It takes about 25-30 min. to walk. Hotel lobby modern style and simple. The hallways are decorated with photographs from old Hamburg. Rooms neat and clean. Please note that the bathroom is open to the room without doors if you travel with a friend or colleague. Toilet small but with door. Lovely beds and good pillows and quiet surroundings. Nice that there is an electric kettle to boil water for coffee and tea. Refrigerator for own purchases. Safety box for valuables. Really good breakfast. Fantastic staff

This was my first time in Hamburg. Right from the moment of our arrival we were made comfortable and welcome. The location of the hotel is super with proximity to some good restaurants, Christmas markets, even business locations plus some intersting places to see. Bus stops are close too, making it really easy to get around. Staff at reception were very helpful with information and suggestions. Some were really friendly! Same goes for those in the restaurant and bar! The bar is a great place to hang out in the evenings (if its too cold outside) with some interesting drinks on the menu. Food was good too!! All in all, we will definitely be back.

With a nice location close to city centre and in a quiet neighbourhood its easy to feel comfortable in this modern and clean hotel. We like the pleasant staff, the large rooms w comfortable beds, cosy bar and the great ans nicely prepared breakfast. We also appreciate the hotel garage equipped with chargers for our electric car. We return to our Michel every time when in this nice city . The best cosmopolitan experience in the North!

I had a lovely big room at the front of the hotel; it has everything needed for a comfortable stay - fridge, tea/coffee, water, excellent wifi, comfy beds. It was a short two night work trip and the hotel amply met the needs of a business traveler. very friendly and professional staff and amazingly good breakfast options. How clever to have jugs of filtered coffee to take to your table. Well done!

Hi twin is 2 beds and a double is one bed but sometimes 2 single beds pushed together. We had a suite which was much larger and gave a seated area. May I suggest you contact the hotel.Have a great trip.

Thanks for contacting us! If you are arriving at Fuhlsbüttel airport you can either take a taxi (approx. 30 minutes trip - taxi stand right in front of the arrivals hall) or the S-Bahn (train stop conveniently located right underneath the terminals, travel time 30 minutes. Our stop would be 'Stadthausbrücke', then by foot another 5 minutes). Arriving at central station both options would also be available.
