Easy check in, clean comfortable room. Secure parking under hotel. (€10:50 per night for motorcycle.) Here during a warm September so with no air con we found the room to be quite warm at night. The windows open but then there is traffic noise during the night. Nice to have a balcony and kitchenette. Local area is light industry, a few café bars and Lidl a 20 minute walk. There is a frequent bus service and line 112 , round the corner from hotel, takes you to central station in Hamburg. A Hamburg card will give 5 people free bus and train travel for €19.90 or individuals at €11:90 each. Prices correct at September 2023. Over all a comfortable hotel with good bus connections to city.

Easy to find via satellite navigation...
The location is slightly far from the city centre but public transport is accessible outside the hotel.
Very clean and welcoming on arrival.

The weekend menu in the restaurant is an absolute delight.
The breakfast selection is excellent 👌

I was less then impressed with the location. It is not in the mitte as advertised. There is so little to do in the area, we made a grave mistake booking here. Cabs to and from the Mitte were 20 Euro. The restaurant is run by a very grumpy staff and the selection is very minimal. The staff seems to resent your presence and there is no welcoming vibes.

Comfortable room, very clean, comfortable beds and pillows! Receptionist was very helpful and friendly and spoke English and knowledge of area and city etc helpful. Elevator to upper floors. Local bus stop into the city was close by, and there was a great little organic cafe just down the road with some amazing meals and snacks with very friendly owners!
It’s not far from the city centre by bus and the price for room was good value.
Went to the little bistro attached to the hotel once, but wouldn’t recommend!

Room Tip: The room also had a balcony so it was good to have the fresh air, and a view over a river canal.

Bussipysäkki vieressä, jolla pääsee keskustaan noin vartissa. Huoneistossa jääkaappi ja vedenkeitin, siisti kylppäri, hyvät sängyt. Ei paha 😊. Bus station nearby, clean bathroom, nice beds. Staff was ok.

4.5 stars. We are a family of 3 adults and 2 kids. We got 2 connecting rooms, enough spaces for us and having 2 bathrooms is a plus. A lot far from the center but there’s buses right in front of the hotel. There’s a Wang Supermarket 8am to 7pm which is a few mins away from the hotel. Staff is very helpful and friendly. There’s a free Laundry facility for the guests. We had a great stay

When we arrived, we wanted to turn around as the building is looking everything but impressive. Reception is currently being re-done but even though, it is clean. When we got up to our room, we were well surprised. We had a very spacious room, very clean and so much more than expected. There is a bus stop literally just round the corner which runs very frequently and takes you into the centre in 20 mins. On our next trip to Hamburg we will defo stay there again!

I arrived at the Apartment-Hotel Hamburg Mitte quite late due to flight delays, but I was nevertheless checked in quite quickly. The hotel's ground level (where the reception, the bistro and the breakfast area are) appears to have been refurbished very recently, it seemed very new and modern unlike the rest of the hotel. While the hotel is a tad far away from the city centre it's very easy to get to: take the airport train (which runs 24h) to the Hauptbahnhof (central station) and then catch bus 112 at the "Hauptbf./Spitalerstraße" bus stop all the way to "Schadesweg" or, if you're light on luggage, take the U2/U4 metro line to Hammer-Kirche.

My room, on the first floor, was surprisingly big and spacious. The kitchenette came fully equipped with supplies (that require a key to access) as well as free (albeit sparkling) water. The bathroom had tampons and tissues as well as a heated towel rack, the shampoo however was in a soap dispenser mounted on the wall. The bed was comfy, even with some uncomfy pillows that provided no cushioning at all, and the TV had mostly German channels with a sprinkle of international ones too, mainly from the Middle East.

Perhaps my biggest gripe with this hotel, one which will make me think twice before returning here in the near future, is how dreadful the Wi-Fi was. I don't know if its because they had old routers, but I was completely unable to connect to the hotel's internet at all while here, and when I did it was either while in reception or by holding my phone in an incredibly awkward.

Now this wasn't a big deal to me as I was merely on a short trip, however those visiting for business purposes should probably seek out a different hotel (it should be noted that the business "area" was a small tactile computer hanged on the wall right next to the elevators, with no seating whatsoever).

It's a shame because otherwise it's a fantastic hotel - reception was able to attend to my needs (except for when my scheduled wake-up call went off on the wrong day, and then didn't call on the day I needed it the most!), everything was very clean and the bistro's food was decent, nothing to write home about but nothing completely inedible either.

If they fixed their free Wi-Fi I'd definitely choose this hotel again, but as it stands I'm heading somewhere else (and those looking for a high-quality internet connection should do to).

We booked this hotel for the kitchenette. A very nice place to stay. The room was very spacious. They provided the utensils at the reception, which we needed to carry to the room.

The parking is available in the basement. A little tricky to get in there first time.

On teh whole , if I am travelling in a car, I would definitely go there again.

The 112 bus stops around the corner - maybe 100 yards - so depends what you mean by too far.

As I said in my review of the hotel if you are catching the shuttle back to the airport remember to only use the front 2 carriages as the train splits and the rear of the train goes somewhere entirely different.

Hi, we had a room with a small kitchen and there was a kettle, tea bags and coffee sachets, think milk was also available. My husband takes his own teabags when we travel as he is never sure whether the hotel will have tea he likes. I can only drink decaffeinated coffee so always travel with my "Illy".
