This hotel may initially seem a little far from restaurants, bars and shops on foot but it actually has a fantastic underground station underneath with direct access via an escalator. You are literally five minutes on the Ubahn to the centre of the city at Jungfernstieg or 7 mins to the main train station. We spent 5 nights here and loved having the ease of enjoying the city knowing that we could be back in the hotel in a few minutes. There is also a bus stop just opposite the hotel which means you can be in the famous warehouse district in a few minutes. The city centre is then only a 10 minute walk from the Maritime museum for example. We purchased a 78 Euro Hamburg Group Card for the 5 days trip which entitled us to unlimited travel on trains, buses and river bus. The card also gave us discount on several attractions which saved us 20 euros. You just present the card at the attraction. you can purchase the card at any of the machines at the train hubs.We also enjoyed having a very quiet superior double room overlooking the docks. We could sleep all night with the floor to ceiling window open as it was so quiet. The breakfasts are amazing and there is a nice bar open until 2300hrs. We were very impressed with all the staff including the house keepers, restaurant and bar staff who did everything to make us feel welcome. We only have one piece of feedback for The Jufa chain and that is the quality of the pillows. They are quite hollow and light and need to be plumper. The reception staff were also fantastic and in particular Heurik Luhr and Hauke Wurger who were so attentive and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay.

This hotel is decorated as a old pirate ship, and very nicely done. The staff is mostly very friendly, although a few staff members were in my opinion somewhat snippy in the way they communicated. The breakfast was topnotch with a capital T. I gained three pounds during my three day stay because of the fantastic tasting breakfast. It's located very near the Hamburg harbour with a nice view of the ships coming and going. The drinks at the hotel bar were just plain DELICIOUS, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to check out the restaurant during our stay, so I can't offer an opinion on it. A negative that I must mention was the ( air conditioner). It wasn't a real air conditioner, it was a fresh air cooler system that brought warm air from outside, and blew barely recooled air directly towards the floor. It wasn't even close to being powerful enough to cool our room down, we slept with the balcony door open. I wouldn't have been able to sleep if we had a regular room without a balcony, it was just to hot. I'd love to revisit this hotel in the autumn or winter, but I wouldn't stay again during spring or summer. The play area for children was incredible.

Perfect staying, excellent for kids. Convenient location, good breakfast. Despite of the Covid-19, the hotel could arrange good measures for breakfast and accommodations. The bar inside the hotel provides food until 9pm and has a kid menu. There is a very nice indoor playground close to the bar, so the parents can have dinner while they are safely playing.

The U-bahn train station is just a stone throw away from the hotel. The buffet was good and it’s definitely a very children-friendly hotel. You can borrow prams and strollers.
There are a few things which we are not very satisfied with.
1. After checking into the room and while unpacking our luggage, there were rapid knockings for 2 secs and immediately someone unlocked our room door with a key card. I guess it’s one of the employees. He came in and went straight to our double bed, pointing to it and was blabbering to his colleague in a foreign language. They left immediately (not explaining anything). What’s the hotel’s policy when it comes to How long should you wait for the guests to open the door after knocking? What If I was in the middle of changing when He just barged into our room?
2. The pillows are too flat and it was warm in the room. We didn’t sleep well during our stay there.
3. We were unlucky as one of the elevators broke down around 8 in the evening and worked again the next morning at around 9. Just wondering whether 2 elevators are enough for a hotel with so many rooms.
For the U-Bahn situated just right next door to the hotel, We are willing to put up with some crappy situations, except for point 1.

Schönes Hotel mit gutem Ambiente. Leider auch viele Sachen einfach Mangelhaft. Lange Schlangen beim checkin. Aufzuege morgens dank Andrang zum Teil unbenutzbar. Da wir Termine hatten mussten wir aufgeben und mit Kinderwagen die Treppen runter. Extrem lange Schlangen beim Frühstück, leider auch keine Alternativen in der Nähe. Kinderzimmer war aufgrund Wasserschaden nicht benutzbar.
Nice Hotel with good decor. However, several downsides. Long queues for check in. Elevators were unusable in the mornings due to the volume of traffic going up and down in them. We had to take a buggy down the stairs as we needed to get somewhere on time. Very long queues for breakfast, and unfortunately there was nowhere near the hotel to just get a quick coffee. Kid's playroom was not useable due to water damage.

Very cute hotel with big cozy rooms. It would be more comfortable if the restaurant were open also for lunches, not for breakfast and dinner only. The price is not cheap, I’ d rather prefer lower price for a room and dinner. Managers from reception were not fully competent: we had problems with key cards. They worked every other time. So we had to ask the managers to reload them

We stayed 2 nights at the Jufa Hotel HafenCity in Hamburg. Everything seems to be good. The room was width enough and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffet was rich and everything what you would imagine for satisfying and healthy meal on a trip. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Only any slippers weren`t in the room and no small toothpaste tube or toothbrush what could be very useful of bathroom accessories at least for first evening/night when you have just arrived and haven`t got a chance to run in a store to catch.

Jufa Hamburg Hafen is new, comfortable, modern and well-situated hotel. The rooms are very spacious, well-equipped and absolutely clean. Service is very fluent and friendly and the breakfast is positively normal.
Good connections, U4 on the doorstep an the parking garage are an extra plus. AC charging oof electric cars is in included in the parking fee and there are many chargers.

Nice hotel in the fare end of HafenCity - but with a subway directly to the door. You can park your car (20€/day) and get good breakfast and dinner (buffet) The whole HafenCity area is really nice with cafes restaurants and galleries. Definitely worth a stay

Hotel is not in the city centre, yet metro stop is conveniently nearby. The service at the reception was friendly, even if we had some sudden changes with the rooms needed. Room was clean and large. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choices. Will definitely come here again!
