Great hotel for the value. There's not much to see around the hotel itself, but its location is ideal if you're driving to see The Lion King (and honestly, it's not too far a walk from the downtown area). Hotel was very organized and clean during covid-19 stay.
They even had face masks at hand for whenever you wanted one along with hand sanitizers everywhere. The room was very nice with nice mattress.

Very nice, clean modern hotel. Check in and out was without hitch - English was very well spoken by the receptionists.
The hotel is about a 20 minuet walk from the main train station and not city centre or the prettiest of areas - as a lone traveller who only wanted somewhere to sleep, this wasn't an issue for me.
Quirky bedroom! The shower and wash basin are 'open style' - almost as if they'd forgotten to build the wall to make a separate room! Fortunately the toilet was enclosed! So if you're shy in the shower or would rather not brush your teeth in full view of your travelling companion, best avoid. Complimentary 'mini bar' in the room had a nice selection of chilled soft drinks and was replenished daily.
Breakfast was great and a wonderful choice. All the usual pastries, breads, cereals, fresh fruit etc. that you'd expect plus a good cooked selection. Food is served in the bar in the evening (closed Sunday and Monday though) although I didn't eat there. Good selection of beers in the bar with full table service.
Overall a very pleasant stay.
Would I stay again? Yes, I probably would.

Innside Hamburg Hafen is a good value modern euro hotel type of experience. Good Covid protocols were practiced during our entire 3 night stay. We liked the room. It was not large, but the bed and linens were high-quality and the bathroom was modern with nice shower fixtures. The only complaint was that the AC did not work very well during our stay. It kept the room just cool enough, but we would have preferred a little be more comfortable temperature.
The breakfast is nice, but not extensive by German standards. We did appreciate the reusable packaging, even for yogurt and jam. There was actually an issue accessing good coffee. They only had two single use machines and these tended to break down or run out of supplies quite quickly.

We type of room we stayed in was 'The Loft'. It was very spacious with a separate sitting room. The room was furnished in the usual Innside minimalist style. The hotel is NOT in a central location. There are no bars or restaurants adjacent to the hotel.
At check-in we were disappointed to learn that there was no food and beverage service available because the bar closed that evening. Reception staff were very apologetic and guided us to a restaurant a 15 minute walk away.
Breakfast is good with a wide selection on offer to suit all tastes.
On our second evening we discovered that the bar would remain closed and would also be closed the following evening. We reluctantly set out in search of food once again.
Although we had paid in advance for our 3 night stay during the on-line check-in we decided to leave the following morning and move to another hotel in Hamburg despite incurring an additional cost.
As a Melia rewards member of 20+ years I will never use the Innside brand again.

The room I got was towards the parking lot so it was a bit more quiet than towards the street but you could hear the trains in the distance sometimes which wasn’t too bad though. The noise that annoyed me more was the people outside and the staff because they have no carpet but imitation wood which makes it way louder. Also some staff member knocked 9am on my door aggressively even tho I pressed that button for “do not disturb” (I don’t know if I operated it correctly tho)
The room is very modern and larger. A lot of space even for two people. I liked the open bathroom concept and the free drinks in the mini bar. Everything was very clean but I find it a bit poor that there is only one pillow while everything else seems more luxurious.
It would also be nice to have more signs in the hallways where the elevator is. Went into the wrong direction several times because the hallway is just empty with no sign where I can get out

Modern, clean with friendly welcome. We stayed 3 nights in the loft as a family of four on a mini break. It was superb - spacious, TVs (one for the bedroom and one the sofa bed in the lounge). Spacious bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and 2 sinks. Dressing gowns and slippers. Coffee machine. Comfy bed. Towels could be a little bigger. And it was a too hot at night.
Evening bar was great. DJ on Friday evening played chill out Ibiza type music and was great.
We had breakfast one morning. It was rather busy/a little chaotic so, despite having booked, sat on the high table near reception rather than inside the actual restaurant which I’d have preferred but very good breakfast, plenty of choice. €20 each. My kids were 11 and 13 so had to pay adult prices. It would have been nice to have a reduced rate for them (only for under 10s). They can’t manage €20 of food.
You can help yourself or coffee/tea/water and snacks at the bar all day long which is great.
They also had their own mini Christmas market on the terrace which was a lovely touch.
Location is a little away from the main bits especially from any cafes or bars but that did not matter so much. About a 15 minute walk from cafes etc.

A 2 night stay at the Innside Hamburg Hafen was a pleasant one. It was a work trip for me so it hit the mark. The staff were excellent on reception, the rooms were clean and a decent size with AC and windows that open slightly. The breakfast was good with lots of healthy options. They hire bikes for 14 Euros a day which worked out a great way to get round this pretty flat city! As a female solo traveller I felt safe here and would recommend a stay here when in Hamburg.

Wonderful welcome and very clean stylish rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast which had local Hamburg specialities and even gluten free bread. We had dinner there and it was nicely presented with some good choices although. The hotel was a little walk to the main tourist areas but apart from that was a great stay!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. A small walk to lots of site seeing. Beds are very comfortable. I requested an ironing board and it was to the room in less than 10min. Room design is very stylish and shower was amazing. Very comfortable.
