Detailed Reviews
We do like to stay at the B&B hotels, this time Hamburg. The location is just a minute away from the S Bahn and U Bahn making it easy to get around. The staff is among the most efficient we have encountered, during the buzz of breakfast they swiftly move around making sure that nothing is missing at all. The rooms are quiet, even when facing the street, very recommendable place if you are in town.

We staid at B&B in Hamburg to visit the city and surroundings. All we needed waas a clean, good room to rest, and that is exactly what we got. A room with own shower and toilet, a good bed, small table, TV, all very clean. Personnel is very friendly and available. You could have a breakfast for low price, but could have a meal in room as well. Moreover, parking a car in very specious garage is available and not pricey as well. Checking in was easily done by entrance, no support from personnel needed, at the reception the details were arranged
We had bikes with us and that made it possible to visit the city of Hamburg in an ideal way, being only 2km from altstadt, the harbour district, the Elbe and the lakes

Budget hotel. AC did not work great. Bathroom is clean, and the room is clean but a little worn. Breakfast was OK and location was good for what we were doing in Hamburg, and being close to the train station it made it easy to get around. I’m not sure it would be my first choice to return!

+ Very clean bathroom and bedroom
Comfy towels
The soap in the bathroom had a good smell
Hairdryer
Nice deco
Close to the train station
Good breakfast (+8,50€)
No cards to enter the room but a code
- A bite noisy when the room is on the side of the train station.
Is a bite confusing when you are going out from the lift it’s writing level 5 but you are on the 6...!!
The entrance door at night is very hard to open!
Maybe a sign to indicate the direction of the hotel at the train station could be a plus.

So we went there 17-10-2018 at 16:14 and checked in we also told her at the reception that in booking.com says that there is free private parking available but she said that parking is full and I can not take parking out of my pocket.
You can only park under the bridge or in the street.
But what if our car was scratched or stolen, she or the hotels would pay no.
So I would recommend you that if you have a car, do not let it go elsewhere, just drive home like us or park your car in a big city that has many different people.
In all, the staff were very disrespectful, never drive to this hotel or motel again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would not be happy with booking.com because it says Free! Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible).
Reservation is not possible but it is not possible to get parking only if possible.

The b&b is just fine. The breakfast is good and the position near to the underground is good. We were quite disappointed by the receptionist that did not care of us, we were almost disturbing them. The most disappointing part was on the last day, we asked to please keep our 2 (small) luggages for few hours but they said it was absolutely not possible! It never happened to us in any hotel/b&b in the world!!!!!!

We stayed two nights and were very pleased with our choice of hotel. We walked into the centre of town, but there is an underground and local train station very close. Our room faced the large courtyard and was fairly quiet. It was quite large, very clean and fresh, and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, preferring to walk to one of the many cafes close by. The assigned parking place in the garage in the basement was very convenient.

We can't recommend this hotel!
Even if just for business, after a long day we would want to eat something or sit together with a drink and discuss the day! But in this area it is not possible! The locals tell you not to leave the house after dark!
The hotel is surrounded by official buildings, a main intersection and the main railroad tracks! Trains pass by all night! Very strange people run around at night. No restaurants close by!
The personal at the reception tell you to go to Burger King or go to a food truck near by? 😳
There is no bar where you can sit down and have a nice talk there is only a vending machine! Cheers ........
You need a 6 figure code to get into the room. The rooms are very simple but clean.
There is not one room where you can get a good rest! The noise is not acceptable!
Breakfast is very simple.
Maybe for youngsters with a small wallet and more focused on nightlife!
If your on a business trip don't choose this hotel!

They just locked our hotel rooms with our passports and valuable belongings without any information in advance. Because they had temporary problem with booking.com to transfer money to their account, eventhough they could see our payment over system and contacting with booking.com. Do not let us to go to our rooms in the middle of night. Even my very tired old parents had to wait with us, almost sleeping, in the reception two hours without proper sitting place, during we were trying to solve their own problem with booking.com without any help. In the end we were forced to pay our stay again! So no need to mention anything about management.
Rooms are pretty ordinary, kind of ok for this price in Hamburg, but it is really really laud. Metro passes directly near of you, in front of you there is a big street. Poor sound isolation, you can hear people walk around and over you. I also have to mention about narrow 60cm single beds which fit perfectly in the small rooms.
I strongly suggest this place if you are bored from easy going, relaxing holidays. I just would like to thanks for the lifetime experience.

It's called a culture and tourism tax!
Who will be affected by the culture and tourism tax?
The culture and tourism tax is levied in the form of an indirect tax. This means that accommodation establishments are liable for payment and may in turn include the tax in the overnight guest’s bill.
So who has to pay the culture and tourism tax then?
The culture and tourism tax is paid by private travellers. In July, the Federal Administrative Court stipulated that overnight stays relating to an essential business occasion may not be affected by this tax. According to the latest draft, business travellers have to record the reason for their overnight stay via an online document (see Employer’s Confirmation form) and will then be exempted from the tax.
We had the breakfast included, but I think it was 6,50€ per person.
