The Select Hotel Berlin The Wall is located in Berlin's historic center between Friedrichstrasse and Wilhelmstrasse. In a quiet side street you will find our 4-star hotel with 170 rooms in a partially listed building. All the modern and spacious rooms have air conditioning, flat screen...
This hotel is perfect if you want comfort, affordability, cleanliness, and walking distance to many major sights, and the U-Bahn is two blocks away. The rooms are small, but they were great for a four-night stay. Beds were comfortable though the pillows were a bit...More
Superb service from the moment we checked in, which they let us do early and leave our luggage before and after our reservation. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a few days in Berlin....More

Very bog standard hotel.
Nothing to make it stand out.
Nice and clean.
Small double room.
Good location... not much else can say about it.
Breakfast not included.
Would go some place more central next time.
This hotel is one street off Checkpoint Charlie and Topography Des Terrors, perfectly located for sightseeing and shopping. The nearest underground is about 50m away. My room was spacious and had its own coffee machine which was a blessing! The linen and pillows were great,...More
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
In addition to the great advice above, it is possible to park for free (yes, for free) in Berlin city. Just a short walk from the hotel on Friedrichstrasse (south of Checkpoint Charlie) - about 10 min walk max. There's an... More
In addition to the great advice above, it is possible to park for free (yes, for free) in Berlin city. Just a short walk from the hotel on Friedrichstrasse (south of Checkpoint Charlie) - about 10 min walk max. There's an online map of where you can park for free - can't remember the website, but we google'd it. Getting around is easy by underground, so you can leave your car for the duration of your visit, just as we did for 4 days.
