Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.

We asked for a room with a large bed but got a bed with 2 single beds pushed together. I went to the reception and the guy was super nice about it, told me there's a room available, and immediately gave me a new room. The new room was fantastic - spacious, clean, huge and comfy

There was no bath in our room (but a great shower). And as other people have said, the coffee machines were good - and supplies were topped up each day.
