Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Hotel located about 4km from Augsburg City centre.
The hotel rent free bikes, which we made the most of during our stay, as there is a beautiful river and miles of forest covered park to cycle around. We also used the bikes to go to the city centre as the tram wasn't operating.

Free ample parking. Fantastic breakfast. Free ice cream. Room was large and had a fridge and kettle. Slightly older decor, but nice bathroom.

My only criticism is, there is a musty smell, but no idea where this is coming from as everywhere is spotlessly clean.

The reception staff spoke English and were helpful and friendly. And the restaurant staff were excellent too.

Thanks for a lovely weekend.

Would recommend.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. If I could give 7 stars I would!!
Rooms are spacious & clean. Breakfast was great, plenty of options and tasteful selections. All at very affordable rates.
I was unfortunate to be stranded in Augsburg with a broken car and I did not speak the language at all.
Claudia, the hotel manager is a very kind woman who went above and beyond to help me.
The management and the staff were all very nice, very eager to help and always with doing it with a smile.
If I will ever be in the area again, I will definitely stay here again.

Hard to fault this hotel. There was a jacuzzi, games room and lots of freebies throughout the hotel. Only weird thing is it seemed the bar and restaurant downstairs was never open. Good breakfast choices in the morning however. One of the best breakfast offerings we had ever had.

Unfortunately in my specific case the hotel did not reflect the comments of other travellers. Unfortunately the room smelled of cigarette smoke and was not very clean (presence of hair on the floor). Furthermore, the furniture is a bit dated. For the rest, the breakfast is good and you can use the parking in front of the hotel. To reach the center of Augusta it takes 40 minutes on foot (about 3.5km).

The rooms are partly extremely worn out. Our suite certainly had the best time behind it. The air conditioning blows directly onto the bed. If you turn them on, it's too cold, if you turn them off, it's too warm.
Parking very scarce. Location right on the main road.
But what is great is the staff. Rarely experienced such friendly people who were all helpful and nice.
Also the breakfast was a huge surprise. An insanely large buffet, just great, you certainly would not have expected.
For one night it was ok, but more due to the worn out rooms unfortunately not.
If the rooms were renovated, the house would be a gem.

The hotel is a structure of 3
Km from the center, easily accessible by both scrub and tram. The room where we stayed is large with a comfortable bed, but a bit old the furniture and the shower where to get hot water we had to wait a bit. Good breakfast

Nice big room- 29sqm! With Kitchenette. Clean. Everything available that a business/city hotel needs. Breakfast and space excellent. Would book here again and again. Only minor drawback: Due to my late arrival I just got a parking space. We have heard, but - if necessary - will be helped.

We were greeted very nicely at reception. The carpet is very old and has huge stains. We lived on the street side, which is not recommended as it is noisy and there is a petrol station next door where people pass the time at night.
The drain in the bathroom urgently needs replacing as there is a thick brown layer of limescale on it.
I think the corridors of the 4-star hotel look worn.

What a find this is! The room is huge and comfortable, with a spacious seating area and even a tiny kitchen facility. The bathroom is also big, with a wonderful shower. Everything is immaculate! The most amazing part, however, is the breakfast which is included in the room rate. Breakfast is served in the regular hotel restaurant and is the most comprehensive offering I have ever seen, from cold foods (meats, cheeses, yogurt, tons of fresh fruit, yogurt, muesli, cereals, a huge variety of tasty breads and buns) to hot foods (sausage, ham, eggs, omelets made to order, pancakes, potatoes, grilled vegetables),as well as a wide selection of fruit juices, and tea and coffee. The location is just off the main highway and is an easy drive to downtown. Parking on site is free and plentiful. The staff is warm and eager to make your visit a pleasant one. We highly recommend the Quality Inn!

I went there for a business meeting and reserved a non-smoking room three weeks before my arrival. When I entered the room I immediately realized that this room (room 120) was still full of smoke and smelling terribly. I returned to the front desk and asked for an alternative room but they told me that they are completely booked and cannot move me to another room. The only alternatives I had was to completely open the windows during night which made it terribly loud during the heavy rain outside or close the curtains and than sleep in this smelly room. In the reception they even told me that they checked the room in the afternoon and decided to open a window because of the smell. To my opinion, such a behavior is not fair, especially if the room has been booked weeks ago with an explicit request for a non-smoking room.

Apart from that, the rooms are a bit used. The carpet is a bit old. The blankets are thin (and especially with a wide open window too thin).

The breakfast, without doubt, is great and deserves 4-5 stars.

Room Tip: Avoid room 120. It is the most smoke-smelling room I ever experienced - hardly bearable.
