Hotel is clean and nice for the money. Had a problem with no hot water the last night of my stay. I was here for a week and it was freezing cold on last night before leaving. Also noticed they put out small cups during time of people of trade fair for juice. When show is not

At the beginning I booked a standard room which didn’t have city views , then I paid a fee for an upgrade and city view. It was a good size room with big windows overlooking the old city. I really enjoyed the panoramic views. The room was warm in very cold time. Very convenient

As I'm American I write from the American tourist's perspective. Europeans would likely call this a 4* hotel, Americans a 3*. That said, its a solid establishment with the usual German features for this price range. First, its a bit rundown, worn carpet etc. Second, the

Could anyone tell me best transfers from airport to hotel. Do the hotel have their own arrangements? Thank you.
Your best access is probably by underground train (U2 line) to Nürnberg central rail station which is a few hundred yards from the main entrance of the Maritim. Google airport nuremberg, then click public transportation (it:gives you all the relevant info (in English) (Tripadvisor does not allow the web site address of this official source, go figure!!! ). Travel time is 12 minutes and trains are frequent. Taxis tend to be a lot less expensive than in other major cities outside Germany and you are unlikely to be given the "sights of the City" back street tour my wife and I once got in Rome, quadrupling the fare. However, you'll probably be at the hotel faster by rail and, unless you have a lot of luggage with you, I would recommend the underground train. I doubt that the Maritim has its own arrangements (not really necessary) but do contact them: we found the reception very friendly and helpful. Have great time in Nürnberg - we loved out stay..
