A great budget self catering apartment. This is the second Adagio we have stayed in, helpful staff, good facilities, central location and all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended. Close the the main railway station and local tourist sites.

Stayed at this hotel with two other friends and booked it because it offered the ability for 3 people to comfortably stay in one room, was centrally located, and was reasonably priced. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Munich HBF, even with luggage. The room was clean, although starting to show a bit of wear (walls need painting). We also had an issue getting the air conditioning to work that required two visits from hotel staff to resolve. The fully equipped kitchen was clean and appreciated. The bathroom was large and also clean, but stepping over the tub to get in and out is very high (may be an issue for older travelers). They do have some rooms with walk in showers though, if you require that. The hotel also offers parking for a reasonable price (15 EUR a night I believe it was, much less than some hotels in central Munich). Hotel staff remembered my birthday and left a nice note/gift in the room (the two bottles of beer were much appreciated). If I was traveling with friends I would stay again, we enjoyed the apartment-like feel.

Location is great, laundry a bit tricky, food seemed expensive and anyway we had a ktchenette. For the price, access to HBF and walking between Oktoberfest grounds or taxi/scooter/Ebike to old town, place was absolutely perfect.
When I travel, I want a reasonably-priced, safe, clean, convenient place that allows me easy access to the places I want to see and experience (outside of the hotel). This place fits the bill perfectly for those requirements.
Only complaint--when we needed to do laundry (!! big need!!), no one/no machine in the hotel can help with providing change and two of the 6 machines seemed out of commission. A small detail but a big inconvenience.

We got a fairly low price for the time of year so I was hoping for a great deal. The rooms are basic with a kitchenette. The room portion is a small desk with two single beds pushed together. The bed was ok comfortable but the pillows were quite uncomfortable and unfortunately, they did not keep an extra one in the closet.

The noise from the street wasn't too bad, certainly low enough to sleep and shutting the door between the bedroom and the entrance helped on the other side.

Unfortunately, the refrigerator would hum loudly but only for a few minutes and then you could fall asleep again. The dishes in the kitchenette were stuck together so we gave those a good scrub before using but all the utensils were provided. The shower was open at one end so it was difficult to keep from having water on the floor.

Breakfast was rather sad. A few overcooked scrambled eggs, some boiled eggs, croissants, and the usual yogurts. There's a coffee shop towards the train station which was much better and although it's a seedy area, there's a grocery store 3 blocks away.

Overall it was "ok" at a cheap price but not a place that you will look for on your next visit.

Spacious. Lots of cabinets. Kitchen with stove, microwave, ref, dishwasher. Kitchen has a pot and a casserole, along with some plates, bowls, glasses, utensils. There is an Aldi close by (less than 10mins walk) so you can buy stuff to cook and eat here, just like back home.

The thing is, the apartment honestly does not feel clean. Feels very dusty, you see dust accumulations on the eating utensils, on the smoke detector, on the coffee machine. Lamps had dust accumulations and stains. Shower also still had small hairs and black specks on the shower floor. The intention of booking this hotel was to be able to cook our meals for the stay but due to how dirty it was, I honestly felt disgusted to cook here and even use the eating utensils.

Bed is comfy but pillow is so flat, it's practically non existent. We couldn't sleep at all here cos of that. We were able to ask for extra pillows but were just given the same kind of pillow that was so flat. Even if we each used two of these pillows, it still didn't help. The bed was firm, which I liked... But this can be too firm for some as other reviewers mentioned. My husband actually had back pains due to their bed.

If I also knew the surrounding neighborhood, we wouldn't have chosen to stay here. It feels very unsafe. It's about 10mins to the station, so that was good.. But you have this immigrant neighborhood around of Arabs, Turks, Muslims. It felt very unsafe. Even walking with my husband, you could feel these men looking at you like some piece of meat. I felt disgusted and really hated being around such neighborhood.

Be aware that the check-out of the hotel is at 11am. We booked thru a booking site that indicated it as 12pm. Thankfully the hotel honored the 12pm check out indicated however, on the day of check out, it was very irritating that as early as 830am,housekeeping already kept knocking on the room already. They kept knocking all throughout the morning until we left.

We had check in by Maria, really skilled and good at providing all the information. Five stars for her.

The room:
Well equipped with iron and ironing board.
2 large double beds with sliding door between the rooms of the room we had booked.
Lots of available connectors to put your phones in.

Kitchen:
Microwave/ oven, electric kettle, 4 hot plates, capsule coffee maker and large fridge.
Glass, plates, cutlery, knives, pots, pans, dishes, etc.

WC:
Shower cabin, soap, towel dryer, hairdryer, laundry rack in the shower cabin.
And of course toilet and sink.

Parking:
P basement at the hotel is only 2.0 meters high so car with roof box can not drive in.
P house is about 600 meters away and costs 35€ per day.

Distances:
Short distance to the main train station and also short distance to Alt Stadt with lots of shops and Shopping.

Stayed here during Oktoberfest for a businesstrip.

I had a roomy Studio room that was just lovely. Nice and clean.
It comes with a fully equipped kitchenette, that serves all your needs if you don't wanna be bothered going to a restaurant.

Laundry facilities are on site and if you need, there is an Ironing board and an iron in your room.

Staff was very lovely, and helpful.

all in all a great stay.

Stayed here for 6 nights and never once had our room cleaned, bins emptied or towels changed. The location is very central and the air con is strong but nobody wants to stay at a hotel that isn’t kept clean. Front desk staff not particularly helpful either.

The truth to be said saving over EUR 20 or 30 a night isn’t worth it. There are so many choices around Muchen HBF and this can be filtered out from your choices. Room sound proofing was terrible, we hear traffic every night and construction starting early morning right outside the hotel. The room while adequate was generally dark and pillow too slow and bed too “solid”. Service was generally terrible and we felt like criminal walking through the front lobby when returning even though we greeted the staff hello each night we came back.. she was on her earphone and probably did not hear us but return our friendliness with a standard glare. Despite belonging in to an international hotel chain, the staff clearly lack service standard when we wanted to exchange fresh towels (per hotel staff we were to bring down our hotel every 2nd night ourselves) we were asked to wait, and for 3 customer who came in the check in and for enquiry despite being just behind the first customer. Such lack of prioritization shows lack of training or SOP. Overall this one is forgettable option in a highly competitive area.

We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly in regard to the acoustic comfort of your room. Our hotel aims to provide a tranquil environment, and we have taken measures such as double glazing to reduce external noise. It also deeply concerns us to read your comments about the room's ambiance and the quality of the bedding. Our guests' comfort is of the utmost importance, and please be assured that we regularly update our accommodations to ensure a restful experience. Shared areas were grimy and depressing with heavily stained carpets. The rooms themselves were okay considering the price, although having just one chair in a double / twin room with kitchen made it very hard to eat in room. Ended up perching on bed and trying not to spill food. Laundry was terrible- only one out of three washing machine was working, not enough for such a large hotel. Not fixed in our fournight stay. Keycards constantly lost their codes and had to be reset at reception. Staff told us not to put cards near our mobile phones, but this did not help. Even keeping mine in an RFID blocking wallet did not work. Frustrating problem I have never encountered before.
