We try to stay here when we are in Ulm if we can. It costs a little more than other hotels but if you can get the weekend tariff you can save a bit, and anyway, it's worth it. In the centre of the town, near to everything, and with such great character. I was impressed that they took the Covid risk seriously and had well thought out routines. (not all German hotels are doing that). All the rooms are nice and full of character, and I do love the bathrooms! Staff friendly and keen to make your stay pleasant.

Staying at this hotel is a real experience. The old half-timbered house has been restored with great regard for the historic structure. The inclined floors and the original beams, some of which are protected by glass, underline the character of the house. We were greeted very friendly and got precise hints about the parking facilities nearby. The large underground car park in the center is easily accessible and allows convenient parking. When we returned, our luggage had already been brought into the room. The central location as well as the help in finding a restaurant for the evening increased the pleasure. You live just a few steps from the Danube and the Münster. Breakfast is also very good.

A must in a wonderful setting, the welcome is great and the layout of the rooms is simple and practical. The breakfast is plentiful and well organized. If you are driving, covered parking is available 5 minutes from the hotel at a reasonable price.

We stayed in this hotel for one night because I like to stay in places that are a bit different and this definitely filled the bill. 600 years old in the Guiness book of records...so cool!
The two ladies at the front desk/ serving breakfast were really really lovely and friendly.
Our room was just under the eaves and very spacious (im Himmel). We loved it. Just one word of advice: this room is not good for people who can't do stairs, are tall and can't bend easily or don't like to get too warm in summer.
Everything was clean and the breakfast buffet was lovely. We would definitely go there again.
We parked in the Fischervirtel car park which is less than 5 mins away.

We were very warmly welcomed and shown our rooms - plus given a map of the local area and provided suggestions of things to see & places to eat. The hotel is a perfect blend of historic, rustic, and modern. It is beautiful & clean. The rooms are spacious. The beds are comfortable with super pillows. We enjoyed afternoon wine in the back porch overlooking the creek while passerby’s continuously took photos of the house!
After unloading our luggage out front, we parked the car (Parkhaus am Rathaus), stayed for 2 nights, and explored Ulm by foot. Breakfast was superb (available 0630-1030). A wonderful selection of meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, fruit, cereal, yogurt, coffee & tea.
Stay here if you are looking for a unique experience!! The staff were so kind, friendly, welcoming and accommodating! Great stay!

Life is a slanted plane, which is why it is all the more important that you at least sleep straight. And you can definitely do that in the bed of the most slanted hotel in the world, as a spirit level built into the bed proves. The sound of the "Blau" lulls you to sleep wonderfully at night. The next morning you can start the day perfectly with a hearty breakfast. The central location of this historic building in the middle of the old town means that many places can be easily explored on foot, and if you come by car, you can park just a few minutes' walk away, for example in the Fischerviertel car park. But be careful: on Saturday afternoons, for example, it can get quite busy. Another thing that we noticed in a particularly positive way was the extremely friendly and courteous staff at the hotel. They even brought our suitcases up for us. So an all-round beautiful and extraordinary experience that we will remember for a long time.

Perfectly located for exploring the city on foot, this delightfully crooked hotel was also comfortable. Service was attentive--we never had to wait long for anything we requested. Daily breakfast was good. All in all a good experience. Just be aware this is an old building, so if you're expecting modern five star amenities you may be disappointed.

Perfect welcome in this beautiful setting in the heart of the ULM fishing district. Public parking nearby easy access.
The very "leaning" room on the 2nd floor is full of charm.
With a bravo for a superb and complete breakfast.

Just a super nice and unique hotel. We had room X under the roof, (the weirdest room). I love extraordinary hotels and have always wanted to stay there. Breakfast was also super delicious with great healthy choices. The staff super friendly and the ambience romantic:)

I did not stay here. I booked a room 2 weeks before I was to stay there. Because of work issues I could not stay there. I canceled my reservation 5 days later. Their policy is to charge a % if you cancel this close to your arrival date. They charged me 71% of my night. I had the room reserved for only 5 days. Most likely, they would not have rented the room even if I had not made my reservation. They could have been more accommodating and not charged me such a high percentage as they did. I have had to do something similar with other hotels in germany, who charged me anywhere from nothing to a maximum of 20%. I feel that this hotel could have been a bit more compassionate, due to the fact that these were circumstances out of my control AND because I had the room reserved for only 5 days.
