Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Very friendly and helpful staff, small but nice place in very central location. From the adjacent parking garage (Salzstadl) the hotel can be reached in a minute on foot. The rooms are modern (some of them may be a little small) and very clean, “all-round soap” is available in dispensers, so that not so much waste is created and towels are ample. The breakfast room is a bit small but there is a good and extensive breakfast buffet. The cathedral and the pedestrian zone are only a few minutes away!

We chose the hotel because of the good location and the possibility to accommodate the car in the Salzstadel car park, which is less than 50 metres away. We were very pleased with the hotel, starting from the friendly welcome, to the clean room, the good beds to the delicious breakfast everything fit for us.
Everything we wanted to see in Ulm we could reach within walking distance - so seen the hotel was ideal for us.
Only (small) drop of wormwood: The parking fee in the Salzstadel car park is relatively steep. According to the reception, the hotel has not been able to negotiate better prices for hotel guests with the car park.
Conclusion: We would love to come back - for sure!

We booked two rooms and our requests for a baby bed and rooms next to each other were taken into account. Thank you very much for that!

After we parked the car for 18 euros per day in the nearby public underground car park Salzstadl, we checked in and moved into the rooms. The receptionist was very nice and the rooms were modern, big enough and clean. The breakfast was small but nice and there was absolutely enough choice. The hotel is centrally located and we would book it again at any time.

A nice hotel.

We stayed in this hotel during our stopover to our holiday destination. We had two rooms (a double and triple room).

A nice and clean hotel, nice beds, shutters (so very dark), rain shower. A public parking garage is at the end of the street, which is less than a 2-minute walk. You can also use the extensive breakfast buffet for just €10 per person.

There is no bar at the hotel, but there is around the corner. In addition, Ulm is a very nice big city and we were able to eat delicious food in the city center.

All in all, a nice hotel!

Very good location. Parking 50 m away.
Small hotel, without ostentation or luxury, but very comfortable rooms, clean, and well maintained.
Fair breakfast, lacks a little variety, but it serves the purpose of having something to eat before starting the day.
Note: reception closes at 10:30 p.m.
3 real stars..

Great location, only 7 min walk from the train station and 10 min walk to the main square. (Christmas markets )Restaurants and bar 5 min away.
Our room was very clean and comfortable bed, however there is a shelf on top of the bed and you can hit your head easily.
The breakfast was good (very small room for it) and the staff was very friendly.

Friendly welcome and friendly staff throughout the house. Our room (No. 1) was really large and equipped with an additional, partitioned work area. Despite the ground floor it was quiet, as only a very little traveled residential road leads past. Not far from the train station and sights, plus many nice little shops. Also the breakfast buffet was very varied. We can only recommend the hotel

Hotel Neuthor is perfectly situated halfway our trip to the alps. Very quiet in a small street next to the city centre we had a perfect night of sleep. Clean room and bathroom. There is a convenient underground parking at 2 min walking distance.

Great location for sightseeing.
The bathroom did not have tiles which can be a stylistic choice, but it was spatula (perhaps done voluntarily) so much that it seemed (I repeat it seems) with mold was actually just stained. Even the shower, large, with laminate walls is really camper/caravan.

There was only one micro bedside table on one side of the bed, while the other was missing.

The choice of carpet in the room is really bad for cleaning the room. If it is back in fashion, it is not something to use in a hotel room. It's practically impossible to keep it clean enough that it had a visible stain.

Centrally located hotel close to a parking garage. Rooms are small but clean and for one night, as a stopover, absolutely sufficient. Breakfast was adequate and the staff friendly. The price/performance ratio is right.
