Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Room was very small and only one small table and one chair for a couple.
The food was poor for the price of around 25,- Euro per plate. The Zwiebelrostbraten was partly tender but mostly of a consistance that makes it hard to eat, so we left it on the plate.

The breakfast was okay but wehen asking for scrambled egg or fried egg we were told that this is to possible!

I stayed in this hotel for one day only, for a business trip. Very nice and clean hotel, in Stuttgart neighbourhood (I didn't go to downtown, so I cannot say how far it is): it's located in a quiet zone, free parking available in the surrounding streets.
Very nice warm welcome from hotel staff: I appreciated it
Room at the first floor, very clean and quite big: wi-fi free.
Breakfast was very good with a lot of fresh food.

I am sending photos of our room that doesn't correspond with booking.com descriptions. Everything Is old in this room. Mattresses are very old as seen on photos and with sharp parts sticking out. There is no shampoo. Beds are separated and cannot be moved. We were supposed to have a double bed and the only thing we have got - two seperated beds in totally different corners of the room! Refrigerator is old and damaged from outside, no handle. Shower is in horrible condition, not corresponding with photos. There is mold and there are missing ceramic decoration bricks... A huge and ugly radiator sticking nearby. The lamp is damaged. There is an old radio that is not corresponding with the photos. Internet is slow, all furniture is old and damaged. The walls are dirty. I will send extra photos in second email.

Response from Krehls_Linde, Inhaber at Hotel Krehl"s Linde
Responded 30 Jun 2018
Dear Irena, we want to thank you for your opinion. And it is a good thing that we can answer. It is totaly wrong, that you have a right to get a room you saw in our presentation on booking.com. No hotel I know makes this. Some hotels have a lot of rooms, and the pictures are always examples. It is right that you had a room that needs to be renovatet- we are honest. But you paid € 50,- for a double room. Everything is clean and lovely decorated. What do you expect? A suite? The lady at the reception told us, that you were brushed on riot the second you came in. So it is obviously that you searched the mistakes in the room. Our staff is not rude! Please read the other comments. And when we have explained two times, that this is the last double room and you won`t switch to two single rooms, there is no solution left. Last, you can switch the hotel. But it is clear, that we cannot make it without fees. And what have you done to our colleague that she was running away from you? Maybe you were rude? Furthermore you don`t have the right to force our colleague to stay longer (until midnight?) if no solution is in sight. The team of Krehl`s Linde.

if you are coming for a short stay in Stuttgart (i.e for visit to the Mercedes Benz of Porsche museum), this is a perfect place for a stopover. Extremely friendly staff, clean rooms, cozy atmosphere and excellent restaurant within the hotel guarantee an enjoyable stay. For those traveling by car, there is a covered garage just around the corner (at the costs of EUR 11 per day).
Very nice place and wholeheartedly recommended.

Reserved little neighbourhood holds host to krehls. If your looking for a marriot, or Hilton then steer clear. If your pessimistic or closed minded drift away. If your looking for a family run unique location with food that will impale its amazing textures and flavours on your thoughts forever, then stay here.
The stairs are creaky, the employees all unique characters and delightfully concerned with your happiness.

Bring an appetite . Bring good thoughts and vibes. Bring the ability to think back to your childhood and remember what it was like to stay with auntie what's her name and the breakfast and meals she provided.

These people are kind, cherish the moment.

This is like a student house than a hotel .
Booking photos have nothing to do with reality , small room with the toilet opposite bed with out privacy .
During breakfast we was looking for someone to help more than 15 minutes ... So we left after a day and we spent our Stuttgart days in other hotel .

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for one night. This is a very cosy family driven hotel. The service was superb, and I can not say anough good things about the staff. This is an old hotel, but they are in the process of renovating. We got one of the newley renovated rooms, and it was really nice. Overall I really recommend this hotel for a little bit of a different experiece on a hotel-stay.

The staff is friendly and each room has a different atmosphere.
The breakfast was really good, although it may get boring if you stay longer. The restaurant looks good but a bit overpriced.

The only negative thing is the smoke smell in the rooms. Although smoking is prohibited, you can smell it everywhere. I assume it's coming from the restaurant's kitchen.

I'd recommend this place. There's even a parking lot next to the hotel. You pay €15/day but your car is in a safe place. The chance to find a parking lot elsewhere is almost 0.
