You can't get much better in terms of proximity to the rail station (900 metres), quite a lot of that via underground passage. Having said that, bout 300 metres of that is uphill with many steps, which, with rolling luggage is not for the faint of heart or the out-of-shape! It's a basic hotel without many bells or whistles, but the staff is friendly and helpful and it's clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, not amazing, but enough. The elevator was a tiny and a little scary, but the stairs are big and there aren't to many floors. When the weather is nice, the walk to the pedestrian city-centre is not bad at all, but in rain it's a bit on the far side. There was not a great selection of restaurants within walking distance, we had to go to the train station or the pedestrian city-centre. While we were there we watched a Germany vs. Brazil exhibition soccer game and that was a great experience. The stadium was amazing and the public transportation system was easy to use.

The place is on a quiet street, with its own parking lot. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are adequate, and very clean. Staff is very pleasant and accomodating.

Hotel was located in the middle of the town, near the main railway station. Room was clean, everything we needed was there. Despite of the location, it was quiet. Breakfast was good and various. They have special vegetarian menu. And of course the staff-warm, helpful and polite. Thank you!

Small, basic, old rooms. Rather old bathroom, no daylight, no ventilation. Bad TV. Breakfast room to small, had to take my plate to a staff recreation room full of cold smoke. Only asset: close to central station.

I had a very bad experience with his hotel.

I called them two days before going to confirm the reservation and to say that i would arrive during the night, around 4 or 5 in the morning, and asked if this was a problem. They said that there was no problem since the reception was open 24 hours a day. My big surprise was that arriving there at 6 in the morning (my train got late), they said that in my room there was already somebody. They said that i should have called until 6 in the afternoon. But i called even one day before! And the most funny is that afterwards, even before i called to the hotel i sent an email telling that i would arrive later. I found out later that they sent me an email saying that there would be no problem.

Anyways, don't take this hotel, since it might happen to you to arrive during the night and finding out that they gave your room to somebody else!

My husband booked this hotel, and when we pulled up to the front I was concerned. They put us in an updated superior room, which was remodeled a few months ago. The room was spacious, and there were modern updates (small fridge, reliable WiFi, heated towel rack). The bed was very comfortable. Strong water pressure in the shower, and the water heated up almost instantly! The staff was very helpful and courteous, and they went out of their way to answer questions and make us feel at home.

The breakfast was surprisingly good. Big selection, including vegan options. The coffee drinks were made to order, even if you wanted it to go. Also, the location is great; it is a 5-10 minute walk to the main train station and shopping. We rented a car for a few days and were able to park for free. I would definitely stay here again when in Stuttgart.

Good reception (everyone speaks English), handy car park 17.50 euros, very nice room, good shower, comfy beds, nice breakfast, great staff, central location. Value for money.

PS Stuttgart centre is not pretty, but the shops are great.

I had less than 20 hours to stay. Checked in at 16:00 and left 7:00 the next morning. I paid 130 Euros for a single room a day before my stay. Pretty much a last resort. Expensive but this is understandable considering the season with Oktoberfest being celebrated. Room's pretty basic but it does the job. I did sleep well so i can't really complain. Location's fabulous. It's just literally 7 minutes walk from Doorstep to the city's main train station. Stuttgart HBF. Would stay again if the price is reasonable :)

Good location, just in short distance from railway station. Very convenient for early morning train or flight.Really good breakfast.Polite and helpful English speaking staff. Rooms are basic but clean and spacious enough. I would name it like good budget hotel. The only drawback you can hear loud snore from neighbourhood room at night.

Yes, our room and bathroom was really well equipped. I seem to remember we weren't overly impressed when we first turned up but we were pleasantly surprised at the room quality and would recommend it for either a business our leisure trip.
