This was our groups third trip to Stuttgart, and this was the best hotel yet! This hotel was chosen as it seemed good value, if not a little cheaper than others at the time. So, we were expecting this to be reflected in our stay. BUT….. we were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and service. Firstly, location. It is easy to get to from the airport via the S-Bahn (use the S2 which will take you to the main station), and then a very short walk to the hotel. It’s centrally located, and another short walk takes you to the Schlossplatz and shopping area. It’s easy to navigate around Stuttgart, and the U Bahn will take you to places like the Mercedes museum. Secondly the hotel itself. Excellent! The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, making everything easy on our check in, check out and everything in between. We stayed three nights, and on arrival the rooms were spotlessly clean and were cleaned to the same standard each day. Breakfast was plentiful and a good varied selection of items and with a decent serving time it never seemed overcrowded or rushed. The one downside to being so centrally located is that there can be a bit of noise. The hotel has excellent noise proof windows, so it was minimal, and only really noticeable when the windows were open. Overall a great few nights here and we will be looking here first for our next trip to Stuttgart.

The hotel is a little dated however the staff and location sure made up for it. Due to BA changing flights we arrived very very early for check in however the room was ready for us (the communication with the hotel prior to visit was amazing) we had a room at the back so had an amazing nights sleep both on a Friday and Saturday night.
The room was incredibly tidy, towels and linen changed each day.
The breakfast was plentiful and they made sure there was enough for me… vegan.
3 min walk to main station 5 min walk to main shopping high street and 25 min shban to airport.
No tea or coffee in room however reception open 24 hours and staff amazing getting coffees and bottles of water for us whenever we wanted.
I would stay here again everything was incredibly easy and the communication between reception and us prior to visit was superb

The hotel is centrally located near the train station (if you have found out from it) in a side street. In the train station district of Stuttgart nothing is inviting, but the hotel can't help it. The reception is open 24 hours a day, the staff are friendly, at breakfast even very friendly, the wifi works. The breakfast is very good, but for a very good of the hotel it really is not enough, except the breakfast everything looks more like 3 stars than 4, you can operate it seemingly anyway. My room was booked through an agency, maybe there are better / renovated rooms, mine wasn't, the carpeting in the room had its best times in many years, putting a towel in front of the bed on the floor also doesn't help, even with the slumber lighting you can't get past the floor. The decor was fine, but certainly out of time. The room door is unable to dampen the noise from the hallway. In short, a proper renovation from top to bottom and the hotel would be good, it probably won't be great even after that. If you have work to do in Stuttgart, then you can stay there, but the Motel one within walking distance has a better standard. to the "satisfying" I can only bring myself because of the breakfast, which I can only praise. The room rates should be enough to finance a renovation.

If you prefer a hotel from the old days you will be a lucky person when staying here
e.g. trouser press (is there anyone using this nowadays?), shoe shining machine, huge key chain to be returned/collected at reception every time you leave and come back. The whole atmosphere in the hotel is like you are thrown back 20 years...at least. Altough the hotel is not that bad maintained, the whole furniture in the room is not up to date in a brown/green colour scheme. Only the bathroom was fitted with modern colours and equipment. Worse was that the air conditioning in the room was leaking from the inside so you could hear a drop of water very regularly while trying to fall asleep, which was difficult anyway because the mattress was way too soft, seemed like the mattress was there for over a decade already at least. Definately not the 4 star hotel experience you might expect, next time I will try the next doors Motel One!

A smallish, old-style hotel tucked into Stuttgart’s central district. I traveled for business and chose the hotel for it’s relatively convenient location near to Hauptbahnhof, where it was a little easier to access the trains given the long ongoing construction.

I found the room quit compact. There was enough closet space for six days of clothes and a desk to sit at, but I wouldn’t travel here for any kind of travel where I’d expect to spend a lot of time in the hotel.

The breakfast, however, was great. The staff was friendly and kind, and the selection of fresh fruit and cheeses was good.

The quality of the amenities was also good, and I felt comfortable and safe. The only other downside was the street noise on Friday night, as it seems like people like to race their cars on the nearby main road.

The hotel is quite close to Stuttgart’s main shopping district and a short walk from the Schloss, so it’s a good hotel for seeing the city if you’ve never been.

We were allocated this hotel following a train delay so I imagine that we didn’t get the best rooms and we had to leave too early to try breakfast, but quite possibly the worst nights sleep I have ever had. We given a room on the roadside and the noise from people, but more especially cars just driving around, revving engines? Tooting horns was truly astonishing and continued until beyond 2am. We rang reception at midnight and asked to be moved but we’re told there were no more rooms. Only positive was that the staff on reception when we arrived couldn’t have been more helpful.

Greeted with a smile on arrival. All staff were polite, friendly and helpful.
Single room basic but clean. Had minibar which was reasonably priced. Bathroom clean and adequate.
Nice breakfast- fresh rolls, nice hams, cheeses and smoked salmon. Stollen was a nice touch.

For a hotel in middle of big city I would have expected to have a working safe. The ones in room 118 and 117 did not work. Whilst this was reported, was told by receptionist that was a major undertaking to repair but could leave valuables at reception. Not ideal.
Not great views from rooms although may have been due to asking for quiet rooms.
Did not find bar area in evening inviting. Had difficulty getting served. Disappointing that did not serve Stuttgart beers.

Central location- close to Hauptbahnhof and Sbahn stop less than 300m away. Walking distance to Koenig Strasse and Schlossplatz..

An all-round perfect hotel, good location, close to the train station and the city center. Very clean. My room was on an upper floor on the courtyard side at the end of the corridor, so it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, there was really nothing missing. The staff is friendly, both in the hall, in the corridors and at the reception, especially Ms. Plato.

Chose it on price and location. Very good value - possibly end of season deal? 10 minutes walk from station (currently a complete shambles), 10 minutes to main tourist sights, very near metro etc. Slightly dated, but very clean. Positives - splendid bed linen, lots of towels (and bathmats!). Fantastic breakfasts, fridge / minibar, most helpful staff with reasonable English, eg helped us with a concert booking., free water & fruit, huge TV
Minor negatives - traffic and social noise from outside at night. Not sure about a/c (but did not need it), shower gel which did not open (but staff swapped it). No tea/coffee in room

The hotel is next to the mainstation. My room was quiet but old and in a really bad state (see pictures). I didn't go to the personal because it was late and I just wanted some sleep, I highly recommend to look for another hotel, this is not a 4-star house in my opinion (the receptionist was wearing private clothes for example, nothing that I care about but also nothing that I would expect when visiting a hotel like that)
