Recepcionist was very kind, explained main things to visit and gave us a free map.
No lift in the building so I hope you are not taking a heavy bagagge with you.
Rooms have everything you need but not luxurious at all.
The hotel is a walkable distance from the train station, and has a lovely bakery just across the street (great for breakfast). The hotel rooms look newly furnished, but the building is definitely showing its age. The shower was good.
There were a few downsides, however: the hotel room was badly sound-proofed (we heard a few hours of yelling from our neighbours upstairs). The room is fairly small, and the building is showing its age. The wifi was very slow.
I think, for the cost, I could have found better value for money elsewhere.
We booked a single and a double room. Both were large (by European statndards) and very clean.
The young couple that manages the hotel are very friendly and speak perfect English. If you book with breakfast you recieve a voucher to eat at the coffee shop/bakery across the street. Great location for people watching and popular with the locals. You get a full German breakfast of meat, cheese, rolls, jams, coffee and juice.
"Avoid the rooms right over the main street. They sit out there talking and smoking until quite late."Read full review
