Whether it's for business or for holiday, this is a very nice hotel to stay at. The rooms are very nice, not too big, but nice. Beds are comfortable, there's plenty of hot water in the shower and the breakfast (not included into the room rate) is delicious. The old city center is 3 minutes walking distance, as well as nice restaurants, cafés and shops. Public transportation is right in front of the hotel entrance (but not a sound in the rooms !)

I stayed for two nights in this hotel while traveling for business in Stuttgart. Very nice clean hotel nearby the riverside where jogging is well advised. It offers a very full breakfast proposal. However one small complaint.... there is not a small fridge in the room, and if you grab a bottle of water at the reception bar (2 euros) you cannot put it on your room bill ?!? why isn’t it possible ??

Stayed here for a few days while attending a tennis tournament at the Porsche Arena.

Could check-in early via a friendly member of staff, although there was no one at reception when I first arrived.

I had a single room on the top floor which had the added bonus of a balcony. Although the space is small and very public. The room itself is small but functional. When designing the room they should've of added space under the bed for storage. It did get warm (it was a hot weekend) if air con was off. The bathroom was clean, but had a great powerful hot shower.

Breakfast was basic but of good quality. Although a bit of a mix up in regards to payment of breakfast as you need to do it on the day versus allowing it to be added to your room bill.

Overall a very good hotel and would have no qualms about staying there again, especially considering the price they charge.

Standard Motel One equipment. It has a perfect location to visit the Wilhelma Botanical Garden + ZOO which is within. The price of breakfast at MO hotels has gone up quite a lot in recent years, and the variety has rather decreased - no mozzarella that I remember from the first years anymore. I'll consider skipping the breakfasts in the future as their competitiveness has decreased. Some annoying issues with the hotel's electronics: a non-working elevator, and my debit card was repetitively refused for payment, I could use my credit card, though. The most annoying thing was that we could not leave the garage as the ramp did not open. Ultimately we could leave only through the parking-house entrance.

Rooms are small but nice, brand new furniture. Definitely too hot in the rooms and lobby. Didn’t have beeakfast, looked ok, maybe a bit overpriced for what I’ve seen in the buffet.
Receptions procedures are the slowest I’ve experienced in ages, really make no sense to lose all that time for stupid and easy stuff.

Being a business trip, my expectations were for a practical hotel but I can see where they did the extra mile, super comfy beds, nicely decorated rooms and great offer for breakfast on the lounge which transforms during the day into working area/coffee and cocktail bar at night.
Close to all amenities, walking distance to beer festival and get a taxi to visit the Bauhouse quarter and a stretch to the Mercedes Benz museum or the Porsche museum, both very nice.
We were only two days visiting a supplier factory, still got a bit of the lovely Stuttgart valley so well manicured and pristine architecture.
Definitely a come back.

What a lovely place with good breakfast, very good service, nicely decorated rooms, not big, but for one or two nights perfect. It's very central positioned and has some excellent restaurants around and helpful receptionist with good tips.

Stayed two nights in this nice Motel one. You can park the car downstairs at a decent price.
Bad Cannstatt is a nice and cosy suburb of Stuttgart. In the eventing it is nice to stroll through the city. Fresh fruit for on the room is easy to buy at the Rewe supermarkt opposite of the hotel. Open till 22.00 hrs.
Motel one rooms are efficiënt, modern and soundproof. It is a convienient place to plan business appointments in the region.

We had previously stayed at a Motel One in the UK and liked it so we chose this for our trip to Stuttgart. The decor was nice, the room was clean, the staff was helpful and the location was convenient (walking distance to the Mercedes Benz arena and just a quick metro ride to downtown). The big downside, however, was the breakfast. There is simply not enough room to accommodate guests and you end up having to wait in line, which is frustrating when you see people sitting at empty tables in no rush to leave. Staff should work to help ensure all guests can enjoy the breakfast they paid for…

Good Morning, Please could you tell me if the airport transport links to this hotel are good?
Answer from MDSumpter
Regensburg, Germany168 contributions30 helpful votes
I didn’t come to Stuttgart via the airport-instead I came via the main train station. With that said, yes, it was easy to get to the hotel using the trains and trams. Train is less than 5 minutes walking distance and there are various trams in the area; one right outside the hotel.
