Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the Park Hotel for 2 nights in early October 2021.
The propoerty is well located just a few minutes walk from the historic center and on a nice park.
The building looks like a condominium of apartments from the 40-50s in which the hotel was built.
Lobby, common areas and dining room are very well furnished with a pleasant classic-modern theme.
Our classic room was quite spacious and very comfortable and well equipped with a nice bathroom and free minibar (water and 1 coke), as well as a coffee / tea maker.
Really rich and abundant breakfast for every taste.
Staff is really kind, always available and took really good care of our requests with great professionalism both before and during our stay.
Overall a great stay.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. I hesitated between 4 and 5 stars, bust rest assured that if I had occasion to be back in Grenoble I’d happily stay here again.
The good: The staff was absolutely lovely! Very nice, friendly, and helpful. I also liked the size of my room. I booked the largest room and was blown away by the amount of space! I especially loved the large walkout balcony and amazing views if the neighboring Parc Mistrel and surrounding mountains. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and I especially appreciated the large bathroom that was stocked with Clarins products. The living/dining area was great for entertaining and I loved relaxing in the loungers watching the TV at night before bed. I also appreciated all of the 1968 Olympic decor. Location was also nice as we were no more than a lovely 15 minute walk from the gare, tourist sites, and there was a grocery store right around the corner.
The not so good: The hotel is showing its age and is in need of a remodel. It’s been a while since I’ve stayed in a hotel where an actual key is required to open the door. The biggest issue I faced was the WiFi. On the day I arrived, the WiFi would only reliably connect from the living/dining room; if I were in the bedroom area it would connect. By around the last two days, the WiFi was completely broken and wouldn’t reliably connect anywhere in the room. This was not a huge problem as I did not NEED WiFi but the last night we were there we couldn’t even connect the TV to the WiFi (so no Netflix, YouTube, etc.).
I did not partake in any of the food options offered by the hotel even though breakfast was included in my rate.

We spent 3 nights at the Park hotel, calm and voluptuous, breakfast with only quality products and above all taste and rare these days a real pressed orange juice.
We were upgraded, very large and functional room with lots of storage, a bathroom with bath and shower, separate toilet, and above all what a quiet place, even the air conditioning did not make any noise
Thanks to Margo who informed us about a nice little pizzeria.
On the other hand, a big thank you to Cedric for his welcome and his dedication.
He is always ready to provide you with information or find a solution to your problem, a pillar of the establishment who, through his efficient and rapid work, allows customers to have an excellent stay.
The Park Hotel deserves great credit for having in its teams an element as important, dedicated and very friendly as Cedric.
Finally, congratulations to all the teams at the reception, at the bar and breakfast as well as on the floors, through their hard and professional work, they make this establishment an unmissable place in Grenoble.

Great hotel. Good service: the staff was helpful and friendly.
Beautiful rooms well equipped. Complimentary beverages. Excellent toiletries offered. Shower and towels are great. Bed is soft.
Room is not very big though.
Super clean bathroom, tables and wardrobe. Not sure about the cleanness of the moquette though.
Position is not super central but in 2 tram stops you are downtown.
Dining scene in the neighborhood is not top. Better to go downtown.
Breakfast good (excellent viennoserie; coffee ok; cheeses good; basic bread; good eggs but the sausages were a bit spicy for breakfast).
The fire alarm went off for an issue on another floor (apparently something to do with steam). Good to know the alarm works, but wish they replied from the central desk when I called, just to know what was the issue. Corridor doors close when the alarm goes off so we were locked out in the hallway.
There is complimentary wifi as well but it doesn’t charge pictures for some reason.

Dear Sir, We would like to thank you to have take the time to wrote a review on TripAdvisor following your stay in our establishement. I'm very glad to see you liked our hotel from the service to the room equipped passing by the breakfast. It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback. I will share your comments with our team. I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services. Our moquette is vacuum every day by our housekeeping and we do the carpet shampooer as often as necessary. I will let my housekeeping know about your review because your comment are very important to us. Concerning about our alarm systems, we had an issue Saturday night and we are very sorry about that, but the problems was fixed as quickly as possible. We are sorry that my coworker didn't reply in the moment you called, the hotel was full and everyone's reactions is to call the reception or going downstairs to know what's going on and also at the same time she was trying to fix the problem. I will make sure to make a deeper formation about the fire alarm, your safety is our priority. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as the previous one. It was bliss to come in from the mid August heat to the cool of this hotel. Our classic room was very clean, spacious and equipped with upmarket touches. We loved the walk-in closet. The housekeeping was of a very high standard. The free wifi was reliable. The staff on the front desk were welcoming and unfailingly helpful. We had breakfast on our final day and there was a good range of choices available from the buffet.
The area is mainly residential and despite having a street view room, we weren't bothered by noise. There's a large park opposite and it is possible to walk into the Old Town. The tram stop is currently being upgraded, but the Albert 1er stop is a short walk away and is close to local shops for essentials (e.g. Carrefour city). The system is easy to use and connects to the Gare.
We were informed in advance that the restaurant in the hotel was closed and sent a helpful range of restaurant recommendations of various types and prices.

Spent three nights here recently and had a lovely time. The rooms were really nicely designed, quiet and the bathroom facilities were great. Breakfast in the hotel was just right. The hotel is small, approximately 40 rooms, but this gives it a nice cozy feel. Parking isn't always available but on-street parking nearby is reasonably priced. The gym and hamam are modest but don't let that put you off. A great value stay in a lovely property.

We booked one night in this hotel which was recommended to us. Once confirmation was received from the Accor website (we are loyal customers of the Group), we had the unpleasant surprise of receiving a call from reception telling us that it was impossible to provide two close rooms with single beds for one and double for the other, and that no cot was available. We indicated that our children could share a double bed and that we would arrange for our baby-- a shame in a hotel of this standard-- but very clearly, the person at the reception simply did not want us, did not made no constructive offer to accommodate us. The instruction is undoubtedly to keep families away to preserve “standing”. As experienced travelers, we have more often been bothered by indelicate and noisy “solo” clients than by families. Absolutely shameful.

A magnificent hotel located on the edge of Paul Mistral Park in Grenoble. A very beautiful establishment with a nondescript facade (this is a specificity of Grenoble facades) but inside, we discover a superb “historical” atmosphere which contrasts with that of even quality hotel chains. Very well appointed rooms with cozy and very tasteful decoration. A special mention for the exceptional bedding: at 64 years old I spent the two most comfortable nights of my life! A lounge bar with very comfortable armchairs and impeccable service: a signature cocktail that I won’t soon forget. Two breakfasts taken in this magnificent hotel. The first morning (Saturday) was flawless both in terms of the quality of the products (food!) available and the service. The next morning (Sunday) a lot of people and a blatant lack of anticipation on the dishes offered with a lot of shortages but thanks to the dedication of the servers, we ended up getting everything we wanted and always with very good quality. At the time it was unpleasant but the waiters handled the situation perfectly, including when I pointed out to them that the basket of various breads coming out of the oven had just been monopolized by a customer who probably thought it was reserved for him. …Unfortunately it is the price of select establishments to be visited by customers without any inconvenience…
An experience from which we will remember a magnificent establishment with very attentive service, extraordinary bedding, serving excellent quality products for breakfast and a satisfactory quality-price ratio.
