Possibly the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. The grounds, room and views are spectacular but it’s the service you get that stands out just as much as the view. We arrived after a 5 hour drive and the owner immediately invited us for a welcome drink - glass of wine. She also made a reservation for us at a local restaurant. So helpful and super friendly. It’s service that some 5* hotels fail with these days. We only stayed 2 nights but I wish we could have stayed longer. Great place in a great location.
We had a lovely dinner on the outside terrace. It was a really warm night, and the sun went down behind us. The food and service were excellent. We returned for drinks in the garden the next week. The staff are just so lovely. The drinks are top, and the situation is perfect.
Charlotte and her team are perfection itself - as is this beautiful hotel, the rooms, the views, the stunning balconies to some rooms, the gardens and the pool. It would be near impossible to recommend this hotel any better. It is also exceptionally good value for somewhere so lovely. We will certainly be returning.
I have, firstly, to apologise to Charlotte and the team for the lateness of my review. I meant to write this on my return but other things got in the way and it slipped my mind. Now, thanks to coronavirus, I have all the time in the world! From the very moment my wife and I arrived at Auberge de Tourrettes, Charlotte made us feel like old friends and totally relaxed and at home. She took us out onto the balcony/restaurant area overlooking the garden and pool with a glass of wine prior to checking out our room. There was a band playing and a number of other guests and day visitors in the garden, the atmosphere was truly wonderful. Not to mention the views were outstanding. The perfect start to our stay. We were there for the week and had hired a car to tour the area (There's parking at the side/rear of the property). Our room was at the front of the hotel facing the road but there was never an issue with noise and we still had a great view from the second window on the side of the room. The room was perfect, comfortable and spacious in typically french style with lovely shutters on the windows. We had breakfast a number of mornings on the balcony which consisted of freshly cut baguette/bread, cheese, meats, scrambled eggs, croissants, fruit salad of figs, peach, banana etc and of course coffee, all made fresh with table service. Charlotte was always available for advice about places to visit and always with a smile on her face. Most days, after travelling out for the day, we'd arrive back in the mid afternoon and make the most of the sunbeds and pool for the remainder of the day, usually with a lovely glass or two of wine, normally the one Charlotte recommended! The sunbeds are luxurious and the pool and views divine. The pool was a little cold but fine once you pluck up the courage to take the plunge. Evening were spent mostly in one of the local restaurants or in the hotels restaurant but always started with drink in front of the hotel where there's a small seating area. Generally, early evening, you'll find Charlotte sitting here having her own glass of wine and chatting to guests or locals. This hotel is absolutely perfect for exploring the South of France. Sitting in a wonderful village of it's own but within easy reach of the coast and numerous other places of interest. It's a complete treasure and it was an absolute joy to have stayed there. My wife and I will definitely return one day, we would recommend it to everyone. Thank you Charlotte and Team for a wonderful stay.…
We were reaching the end of a month-long trip through Provence and South of France. After days and days of intensive touring, arriving at the Auberge de Tourrettes was like a balm for the soul. We felt very welcome. I think we had the best room in the house (Sea View), with a very spacious balcony looking out over the village and with views to the sea. At night, the lights of Cap d'Antibes sparkled on the horizon. We felt pampered and cared for. The room itself was understated and comfortable and I loved the soaking tub. Bed very plush. Loved sleeping with the French doors open to allow the night air in. A 3-day stay was not long enough.
