Outstanding!!! A spectacular view with the most adorable hostess Caroline and host Gregory! Thank you to Nicholas and Gilles as well- you all made our stay just perfect! The food was incredible, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and what a relaxed and cosy atmosphere at the swimming pool and in the dining area! This little diamond is one for the bucket list!!!
Stayed 2 nts, and enjoyed every minute,, fabulous hospitality, very comfy bed and room, pleasant balcony to enjoy the magnificent views and nature, surrounded with art and excellant design taste. Run by a familly,,amaxing long pool for swimmers..
The 3 brothers and one of their wife run this special guesthouse cum restaurant. ON the website it says it is within walking distance to St Paul de Vence main town, but don't be fooled. You can't really, unless you like hiking. It didn't bother us in the end because we had our car. The shaded parking lot is a welcome relief because it was HOT towards the end of August in St Paul de Vence. The room is massive and very comfortable. Beautiful linen and the AC works well. Views of the pool and the garden is a plus! Service is great but unobtrusive. You basically drift along the pool and waltz past the bar, taking the towel from the side, and relax by the refreshing pool. The restaurant on the terrace is great for lunch and dinner. Good food but you pay for it. Wines are more expensive than we thought, being paying guests. Same for the food. There is a sort of a menu (prix fix) which we thoguht was a bit too high, but the food was good. Most people chose prawns as a main course. There is supplement for some dishes. Overall we enjoy our stay. If you don't have a car you may be stuck here. On check out they didn't print out our invoice, so we paid the extras (dinners and lunches and some drinks) which came to over €500. The wife didn't give us an invoice, so I couldn't check its accuracy. Despite asking for it by email a few days later, I never got one. Oh well, I have to trust them.If you want a relaxing pool holiday without going out, then this is the place for you.…
We came late and had to leave early, but we definitely will come back!! What an exceptionel hotel in splendid surroundings, great ambience, lovely cultivated garden, green oasis and hideaways! Although we were very late we had a very warm welcome and a nice midnight drink. The house, the room, the views, the art, everything was amazing! Not to forget to mention the owners - beautiful and charismatic - who take care of their guests themselves! Watching them cutting the grapes on the terrasse - what an affection! Very big Thank you and see you...
We were lucky to be stranded in St Paul De Vence some extra days and get a room at Toile Blanche. The Hotel is a real abode and wonderful setting with exquisite Art and modern, homely feel. It is a real 'boutique' hotel gem. Would be a definite 5* rating if everything were 100% functioning, but they are looking to close in a few months and build an amazing new development, which after the experience we had I am sure will be something stunning that has not been seen in the area before. The food in the restaurant is amazing and truly unique, had we not chosen to have try new restaurants for lunch the other 2 days, we would have certainly enjoyed eating dinner at the Hotel again - there are several outside guests that frequent the Hotel for dinner for its renowned cuisine.
