I took my husband to SPdV to enjoy the splendor of this beautiful village having hosted several business trips here. Wanting to be central and away from my former business location, I selected Hotel Le Saint Paul having walked past it with intrigue many times before when touring the village. It was the best decision I could have made. Welcomed with tea and coffee and freshly made cake, we were invited to relax before being taken to our room. Our room was charming. Lots of tradition features and a fresh modern bathroom. The staff were efficient, helpful with dinner and taxi reservations, and encouraged my limited french. Best of all was the location. Shops, restaurants, historical sights all on your doorstep with the ability to return to the sanctuary of your room and relax in peace and quiet. Saturday morning I took a run through and around the village at 8am and had it entirely to myself. It was wonderful to experience. After 40 mins the first group of tourists arrived and the village started its usual buzz of visitors. For me that time alone was magical and I would return here over any prior location again.…
Excellent in every respect. Very nice room (#22) with great vue. Excellent dining room. If you like red wine the Bandol was great. Great entree course of tomato farci with buratta. Excellent service in dining room and at front desk. It is not inexpensive but clearly worth the splurge for somethng special. It is a challenge driving into the hotel thru the very narrow medieval size streets but once there they help you and take your car to be parked and get when you leave. Do not try it if your vehicle is a large SUV
Le Saint Paul is a special treat because it is inside the village. Ambiance was outstanding. It was interesting to watch as the strollers came by and took pictures of the the small restaurant terrace with its bright red umbrellas and to know we would soon be sitting there. A tip, if you want to eat in the restaurant, make advance reservations.
We Loved every minute of our stay at the Le Saint Paul. The parking situation was a little confusing at first but once we were situated everything was excellent. I would recommend the view rooms facing the countryside.
Hotel Le Saint Paul was a beautiful Hotel nestled in a Charming walled Village location. The staff were so friendly (particularly Billy), the views amazing and we really felt like a part of village life in this gorgeous hotel. Thoroughly recommended! The restaurant staff and food served were wonderful as well. Billy thank you so much for your charm, hospitality and for helping us with our French and Italian lessons! We hope to be back one day!
