Hotel Le Sud is in a great location near to the train station and a few minutes walk to the beach.
It's a lovely hotel - clean, lovely bar area and entrance, the pool area is really nice and relaxed and generally quiet. We didn't eat at the food truck but will next time as we will definitely be back. The coffee in the bar is delicious.
The staff are friendly and helpful and discreet.
The rooms are very basic but very clean, our room was really nicely laid out. Only slight negative was that the dirty mugs and coffee we'd had (there's a kettle in the room) were not replenished or cleaned away but that was quickly dealt with when we asked for clean mugs and some coffee. The beds and bedding are super comfortable. The rooms have air conditioning and a handy rail in the shower to hang out wet swimwear.
We loved it and look forward to returning.

This new affordable chic Côte d'Azur beachside hotels is a welcome addition to the area. Just a stroll away from the beach, you can count on stylish comfort — impeccably clean whitewashed rooms splashed with colors, a cool 50s retro vibe in the décor, a friendly atmosphere and high-quality touches from the comfy beds to the delicious breakfasts or tapas in a shaded garden with a lovely little pool. Bravo to the professional friendly staff.

Full of French charm replete with a beach-vibe ambience whose Matisse style blue decor remind one of the South Pacific; Tahiti, New Caledonia — with a chilled out feeling that would not be out of place in Noosa Heads, Queensland Australia. It is however, unmistakably French: beautiful continental breakfasts on a sunny terrace with fresh Pain au Chocolate, Croissants, fresh jams of apricot, cherry and strawberry... lovely country bread with French cheeses and butter, yogurts and a vast assortment of nuts, seeds, dried figs, coconut and healthy options. The coffee was excellent, the freshly squeezed apple juice was a revelation alongside the bright and refreshing orange juice.
The staff are gracious, multilingual— I heard Spanish being spoken alongside English and French. My room was bright, happy and clean—with lovely Provençal liquid soaps, an extendable clothes line to dry my bathers after a day at the beach (which was literally a 5 min stroll away). The room was quiet, the fellow guests respectful — after all this is the Côte D'Azur (not the Costa Brava) — and I had a small kettle to enjoy a coffee in bed first thing before showering for breakfast as all guests should.
The air con was brilliant—there was a fan option as well as a setting that would have kept fruit cold while it was 29 degrees outside.
There are lots of supermarkets within walking distance. My only comment would be that a small fridge would be a welcome addition: to keep a bottle of coke cold ready for when you have returned from the beach.
The pool was excellent— enough for a cool plunge and roomy enough for quite a few people.
A lovely hotel, without pretension but with oodles of charm and comfort— with kind, courteous and friendly staff under a superb Manager.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel le Sud and are happy we spent our time in this hotel in Antibes. The moment we walked in, we entered a very charming and characteristic hotel. The hotel has a unique interior style - visible in every detail, and a welcoming atmosphere. However we felt the most welcome because of the friendly staff of Hotel Le Sud, who were always ready to help us and answer any question we had.

Our nicely decorated compact room was smartly arranged, so although the room was on the smaller side we were able to store our stuff. Every morning we got to enjoy a nice breakfast in the beautiful garden near the pool, where we also sat in the evenings and ordered drinks from the bar.

As we were traveling by car, for us it was a plus that we could reserve a spot in the parking garage that was on walking distance from the hotel (approx 10 min).

Plage Juan le Pins is also on walking distance from the hotel (approx 10 min). We enjoyed plage Keller a lot, which is a 10 min ride with the car from the hotel and has free parking spaces.

The location of the hotel is great if you want easy access to central Juan-Les-Pins, train station and also easy to get off the main drag and onto the nice beaches of the Cap.
The hotel is stylishly decorated but maybe lack some attention to detail - our white walls were dirty and could use a lick of paint. The rooms are pretty compact. It would be nice to have a small fridge to keep provisions cold and ideally we would have liked an outdoor space (small balcony) but appreciate for a 3 star hotel that may be a bit of an ask.
The outdoor space and pool are relaxing and good to hang out in. The food truck sells food for lunch and dinner. The pizzas look great although we didn't have one. Our 16 euro salad was a little disappointing for the price, but then again, this is the Cote d'Azur and reflects prices elsewhere.
Overall, a good hotel.

Very nice place with extraordinary design in walking distance to the beach! Everything top clean

Nice bar to take an aperitif or a good night drink.
Friendly and very helpful staff - also Mr Khalil who did the check-Out himself personally.

Very helpful: reservation for the beach was organized by the reception - so we had no worries to get sunbeds and umbrella.

Really lovely design and decor but agree with other reviews re lack of presence of reception staff and responsiveness. Khalil the manager really tried hard and left the kids a lovely gift on arrival. Nice touch. But the water wasn’t refilled in room any day, we were told to ask the cleaner ourselves each day to make sure she cleaned our room in the mornings as no clean happened day one and when we asked at 2pm ish we were told they’d left. We had left the sign up for a clean. Breakfast offered as an apology for the AC not working yet when we arrived as it had been cold to then. Again nice touch but a hassle when travelling with kids and room temp was 24 degrees. Asked three times for a door stop to access between the two rooms we’d booked. It never came. Finally staff assured us taxi booked for a 5am departure. Night staff called to check. No taxi. Pros are it’s a great location and very clean with good quality towels. Really great coffee.

Me and my partner stayed at Hotel Le Sud for almost a week, wished it was longer! The hotel is very cozy and private, it was located close to train station and to the beach, but still not in the central Juan les Pins, which was nice. The backyard was amazing and felt very private. We swam in the lovely pool, took drinks every night and enjoyed our breakfast in the backyard. The interior of the whole hotel was really nice, even though our room was maybe a little bit small it was very fresh and good looking and we slept so well the entire stay. The staff was lovely and helped us with everything we needed, they even helped us calling different restarants to make reservation (which was very nice since we unfortunately don't speak french). I can recommend everything with this hotel and will come back for sure! :)

Beautiful stylish little hotel. The hotel is very cool and the staff are hands on and very friendly/helpful.
The rooms are perfectly clean and beautifully decorated with nice bed linen and towels...We appreciated the little touches (biscuits and cute postcards).
The breakfast was simple but with fresh produce with everything you need.
Great value for money.
The only downside is the location and the lack of a car park (5 mins walk away) but I can see that this is also a huge plus for anyone travelling by train. (literally 2 mins away)

The best hotel in the Antibes area!!!

We got married in Antibes and all our friends stayed at Hotel le Sud. It was incredible! The team at Hotel le Sud are some of the kindest, most helpful and professional you will find in the area. They really are the ones that made the experience so seamless. The pool is awesome, the food truck has the best pizza I’ve ever had, the breakfast setup is perfect, and the location is central (3 minute walk to the beach, Juan Les Pins, and the train station!!)

The interiors reflect the area so well, and set the mood for our whole weekend. The rooms were gorgeous, and everything was of high quality (beds/ showers/ bathrooms etc…)

Khalil (the owner) went above and beyond to help organize things for us. Including transportation, beach bookings, and yoga mats!

I am so grateful, and can’t wait to spend more summers at Hotel le Sud!

Thank you!!!
