We recently spent three nights in the one bedroom bungalow with our two children. The property was easy to find and conveniently located to the interstate. Abundant parking and a secure gate accessed by a key fob. The room is secured by an electric key operated storm shutter.

The place has its own charm and the owners are helpful. The garden and the heated swimming pool along with the free private parking come as a bonus. We did like the room but some aspects were lacking practicality - like the separate private bathroom which has a small bathtub

I think I put on a couple of kilos just with the breakfasts here: never knew a French breakfast could be so satisfying. We spent 4 nights here B&B in a spacious, second floor room with views north towards the hills. Big bathroom with bath and separate shower made the stay even

Response from Aufrene, Propriétaire at Domaine de l'Aufrene
Responded 7 Apr 2013
I read with attention your comment. I am anxious to bring some remarks which seem to me, not to be contradictory but complementary with however the concern to restore certain assertions. I am furthermore anxious to specify that we are an agricultural Domain situated in campaign. It is necessary to suit that our fences are for the extremities of the Domain and that he represents a 3 hectare surface in city entrance. Thus the pets which we have, that is 2 dogs of low-waisted " shinzzu and Pyrenean sheepdog " are effectively free. Our driveways are swept every morning. We have never met of foxes, wild boars or other one dinosaurs in our fields since we are installed here is 8 generations. I therefore proceeded to the visit of the booked room, and i have commercially in the same tariff conditions with the same proposed service apartment in place and place of a Chamber whose comfort seemed most appropriate. All this in a commercial... The client therefore had the choice of housing, which was done for the apartment. To move the refrigerator which is located in a recessed kitchen, should be an obvious willingness to imagine that the household is not done because it is not possible to exit this refrigerator from its location. What was not my surprise to see the unit dismantled and moved to go check the cleanliness behind this kitchen. The mousetrap is a preventive measure installed in a location inaccessible and closed to anyone. Actually the reproach was makes me and I remained speechless, I do to dismantle my kitchen to make the household behind inaccessible furniture and I kept my self control to not ask to replace this unit In conclusion, an arrival under deplorable conditions (violent storm) with a timetable not respected but hosted in rules, an environment that does not suit customers, agriculture in the countryside but with a clear intention to pick up the denigration, disassembly of the refrigerator from its location and plinths of under basely furniture. The not avowed aim was that not wanting to pay a compensation of one night and looking for all the arguments to get satisfaction when the booking was for a week.
