The pitch although a decent size was very scruffy and could have done with a tidy up. Each pitch is allocated with individual water points ours did not work. If you took a shower in the afternoon the water was cold so you found that out before you realised it was best to take a shower in the morning. And considering it’s 4 star rating to find there wasn’t any toilet paper provided came as a surprise this would normally occur on a much lower rated campsite. Our visit was in late May and we were informed that bread would not be available until June 5th. Pretty poor! We have fond memories of this site from 7 years ago I’m afraid all we can say is that standards have slipped.

We stayed here after a quick pass through Cannes (not really of huge interest, but something we felt we had to see once). The campground, like many, was a bit out of the way but in a relatively good situation. Some road noise from a nearby motorway but it wasn't too bad. Large campground with plenty of room in July; not sure what August would be like. Bathroom facilities were in good condition and well cared for. Decent enough restaurant. Definitely a good place for a stopover but not necessarily a destination.

Having dismissed this site before arriving in Cannes due to the noise (we never pre-book) we drove around for 3 hours and after having a shock at the amount sites were charging, decided to go and take a look at Parc Bellevue. We stayed here for 9 nights - my opinions as below:

Reception - at all times of visiting reception, we were greeted with friendly staff who were very helpful.

Campsite itself -
there are plenty of pitches available, all massive. To be honest these were the biggest pitches we have ever had and we have stayed at many sites in France, Italy and Spain.
Washing facilities are good and plentiful although towards the end of the day, the utensil sinks were pretty dirty (not cleaned by other campers)
Showers plentiful, although the larger block near the campsite could be updated as some door locks were broken or the showers didn't work.
The restaurant/take away served lovely meals. The chips are lovely and made a change from our usual salad tea!
Swimming Pool - for a few days of our stay the campsite was overrun with a summer school. whilst this didn't cause any problems, the swimming pool just couldn't cope with the amount of bodies in it. Once the summer school had left, peace had restored and sunbeds were plenty.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Parc Bellevue. It was much cheaper than other sites and offered more. Our main problem was the noise unfortunately. The campsite is adjacent to the A8. This road never sleeps - and nor will you, unless you enter a coma!
If staying in a caravan or motorhome, or for an off night, i don't think this would be a problem, but a tent was a different story.

We stayed here so we could visit Cannes, the campsite itself was average. The showers and toilets were clean, the washing up area was old and the water was cold. We didn’t use the pool but it looked alright. The campsite pitches were quite spacious compared to others in France.

However, the campsite staff are incredibly rude. On arrival we went to reception to check in and were told we needed to give a €20 cash deposit for a gate key which we didn’t have as this hadn’t been mentioned when we tried to book online (However they never actually even replied to our enquiry to confirm our stay!) We returned later on in the day after finding a cash point to pay this and a different lady with dyed black hair was on reception. We were met with a very unwelcoming stare and a general feeling that we were a nuisance even though we were trying our best to communicate in French. This unfortunately wasn’t our only encounter with this lady and the way she was towards us every time was the same, rude and belittling for no apparent reason. We have been travelling across the world for the last 3 months and she is by far the most obnoxious person we have come across. It’s a shame as it really let the campsite down and her disgusting attitude made us feel uncomfortable during our (not cheap!) stay.

All in all this campsite is adequate if you want a spacious place to park up to visit Cannes but otherwise not a place I would recommend and if you do decide to go expect old facilities and to be made to feel unwelcome!

We made a reservation for three days through agoda.com and when we arrived we were informed at the reception that we had to leave a credit card as a garantie for 200 Euros; and that after a week this amount of money would be remboursed, and only 100 came back to our account. The Camping market was closed at all times. The television set was old and didnt worked well after 10 minutes of using it.

They gave us a pitch for a tent right next to the motorway which thundered all night, the campsite was filthy and we didn't feel safe to go to the toilet at night and the woman on reception was unfriendly when we arrived. Having camped a lot around Europe this was by far the worst campsite we've stayed in and left after one night despite having already paid for the week. Don't go.

I was jubious of this site as the photos, in my opinion did not do the site justice. I have to say we absolutely loved every second of our time here. The pitches were very spacious, the toilet facilities were absolutely spotless every tome i visited. The pool was great, we ate twice from the takeaway which was excellent quality and price. We had a brilliant week here

Site is situated in woodland, about 5km from Cannes, entrance is by radio tag for which a €20 deposit is required. I was led to my pitch by a staff member in a golf cart, so finding my place was no problem, the site has a swimming pool, excellent washing, toilet, and shower facilities, and a laundry, although as its on the side of a hill there are some steep gradients and steps to negotiate so if you're not so mobile, it probably wouldn't be ideal. The restaurant/bar serves a fair selection of reasonably priced meals and pizzas, both for eat in or take away, the bar also doubles as the camp shop selling a small selection of essentials. I stayed in a tent on a pitch surrounded by trees, so plenty of shade, and undergrowth between me and my neighbours, so relatively private. Electrical hook up is 6 amps and was about 10m from my pitch, standard French schuko type sockets. The park also has many static mobile homes to rent. All told, a very pleasant site.

Very beautiful, pleasant and very well located for getting around the city, bus and train. Thank you to all the staff for their kindness and availability.
The only slightly negative point is the noise of cars outside but that does not depend on the campsite.
We had a great time
