Stayed in this hotel as visiting the racecourse, which is a short walk away. Excellent location also for the sea-front and decent local bars and restaurants. Rooms are simple and basic but have everything you need for a short stay.Small balcony(in our case, without a decent view!) Comfortable beds, ample storage, coffee and tea-making plus bottled water, small bathroom with everything you need, separate toilet(unfortunately no hand-washing facility in this room),Plentiful breakfast with a good variety of items on offer, Above all, charming and helpful staff.

My wife and I have just returned from a 2 night stay in CAGNES SUR MER... We had a very nice time and were very happy with our choice of hotel. Let's be honest straight away. THIS hotel was NOT expensive. We were on a budget and decided to give this hotel a try. Our room was much cheaper than what we are usually prepared to pay. Consequently our expectations were not high. On entering the hotel one gets a hostel type of feeling from the reception. The hotel STILL uses room keys and the reception area doubles up as a breakfast area. A small lift takes you up to the only floor. All bedroom doors are decorated with horses, probably due to the fact that the Hippodrome is a mere stones throw from the entrance. Our double room was large and clean. A walk in room for clothes, a nice bathroom and a separate toilet. The big picture window/doors opened up to a small balcony that is literally a stones throw from the Beach opposite. A true sea view. Wonderful!. Bed was super comfy and the double doors that lead to the patio were excellent at cutting out the noise. A HUGE bonus were the electronic shutters that you could lower with a switch by the bed. The room was very quite and VERY dark. All in all we were very happy with our room. We didn't take breakfast which cost €10 pp extra but we walked 40metres up the road to a cade that served a decent petite dejeuner. A car oar was available for €10 per day but we found dozens of spaces available outside the hotel, but it was November 1/2.. Spaces may be harder to find in the season. GREAT LITTLE PLACE to spend a few days and not far from the Airport too.

Stayed here, we thought we would be closer to downtown Nice, which was about 20 minute taxi ride. But, the front desk staff were so kind and helpful! They helped us 3 ladies understand the bus schedule and transportation to downtown Nice. They were very kind and willing to help. Hotel was nice and clean. Cute area with emphasis on going to the beach.

What a great find and a super little spot. This is a smaller hotel occupying the first and ground floor of an appartment building. The service from the managers Barbara and Arnaud Lecompte and their small staff is excellent and we loved the golden lab Ramises who greets guests in the lobby. The hotel is opposite the beach and the Cote-de-zur Hippodrome and the bus stop to Nice is five steps out the front door. We had an ocean facing room with a good size balcony with a table and two chairs, The room is airconditioned, has a fridge and had two glass sliding doors providing double glazing. there is also a shutter screen that can be lowered for privacy and to darken the room. There are also sheers to protect your privacy. The room has a fridge and safe and good wi-fi. The rooms show a little wear and tear but are spotlessly clean My only word of caution if having room 7 is that stepping into the bath to use the shower could be a little difficult if your are not too mobile. I am not sure about the rest of the rooms. Breakfast is available at the property. There are lots of restaurants in the vicinity and an excellent laundrymat a couple of hundred metres away. There are some brillian boulangeries and a coupld of supermarkets in close vicinity for supplies, baguettes, cheese, wine etc. The main train station is an easy 10 minute stroll and the trains accesses up and down the riviera regularly. The Renoir museam and the old medieval town (Bourg) are an easy walk as is the Chateau Grimaldi. If going to Monaco, I recommend using the train as the bus can be slo but the views are spectacular. I would also recommend visiting Menton and walking into Italy for a drink. If going to Nice, use the bus. The International Airport is about 4 kms away but will cost between 30 and 35 Euros by taxi. If you have an early flight like we did you need to book a taxi as they don't generally run late at night or the early morning. You can use the bus except Sunday. If going to the beautiful village of Saint-Paul-du-Vence, the bus is the number 400. The stop is on the same street as the train station but about 300 metres towards Nice or the town side. It is not the bus stop outside the train station as we found out. We were so pleased to have found this hotel and had a great time. Wish it could have been longer. Loved sitting with a wine on the balcony watching the world and the super yachts cruise by. Hotel also has a lift.

This hotel offers a beautiful location; excellent price and amenities; nice clean spacious modern well-appointed room with lots of amenities; deck overlooking the sea and the activities of the seafront; easy to find; close to major attractions and superior shopping (try the Polygone shopping center ... beautiful and crammed with gorgeous shops); close to excellent restaurants (just a hop up or down the coast, easily accessed by foot); super-nice and helpful staff who speak excellent English; tasty breakfast available onsite; helpful concierge to give advice/arrangements. What's not to love? Did we mention the views out over the Mediterranean? Oh, and there's even ONSITE PARKING.
